பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: சபைகூடி வந்து பரிசுத்த நாட்களாக ஆசரிக்கும்படி, நீங்கள் கூறவேண்டிய கர்த்தருடைய பண்டிகை நாட்களாவன:

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

ஆறுநாளும் வேலைசெய்யவேண்டும்; ஏழாம்நாள் பரிசுத்த சபைகூடுதலான ஓய்வுநாள், அதில் ஒரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்; அது உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்கென்று ஓய்ந்திருக்கும் நாளாயிருப்பதாக.

Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

சபைகூடிவந்து பரிசுத்தமாய் ஆசரிக்கும்படி, நீங்கள் குறித்தகாலத்தில் கூறவேண்டிய கர்த்தரின் பண்டிகைகளாவன:

These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

முதலாம் மாதம் பதினாலாம் தேதி அந்திநேரமாகிய வேளையிலே கர்த்தரின் பஸ்கா பண்டிகையும்,

In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover.

அந்த மாதம் பதினைந்தாம் தேதியிலே, கர்த்தருக்குப் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பப்பண்டிகையுமாய் இருக்கும்; ஏழுநாள் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பங்களைப் புசிக்கவேண்டும்.

And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

முதலாம் நாள் உங்களுக்குப் பரிசுத்தமான சபைகூடுதல்; அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்.

In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

ஏழுநாளும் கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலியிடவேண்டும்; ஏழாம்நாள் பரிசுத்தமான சபைகூடுதல்; அதில் சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யலாகாது என்று சொல் என்றார்.

But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்தில் நீங்கள் போய்ச் சேர்ந்து, அதின் வெள்ளாண்மையை அறுக்கும்போது, உங்கள் அறுப்பின் முதற்பலனாகிய ஒரு கதிர்க்கட்டை ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரக்கடவீர்கள்.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:

உங்களுக்காக அது அங்கிகரிக்கப்படும்படி, ஆசாரியன் அந்தக்கதிர்க்கட்டை ஓய்வுநாளுக்கு மறுநாளில் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அசைவாட்டவேண்டும்.

And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

நீங்கள் அந்தக் கதிர்க்கட்டை அசைவாட்டும் நாளில் கர்த்தருக்குச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியாக ஒருவயதான பழுதற்ற ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியையும்,

And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனபலியாக ஒரு மரக்காலிலே பத்தில் இரண்டு பங்கானதும் எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்ததுமான மெல்லிய மாவாகிய போஜனபலியையும், திராட்சப்பழரசத்திலே காற்படியாகிய பானபலியையும் செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்.

And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.

உங்கள் தேவனுக்குக் காணிக்கையை நீங்கள் கொண்டுவரும் அந்நாள் மட்டும், அப்பமும் வாட்டிய கதிரும் பச்சைக்கதிரும் புசியீர்களாக; இது உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலெல்லாம் உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்திய கட்டளை.

And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

நீங்கள் அசைவாட்டும் கதிர்க்கட்டைக் கொண்டுவரும் ஓய்வுநாளுக்கு மறுநாள் முதற்கொண்டு எண்ணத்துவக்கி, ஏழுவாரங்கள் நிறைவேறினபின்பு,

And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:

ஏழாம் ஓய்வுநாளுக்கு மறுநாளாகிய ஐம்பதாம் நாள்மட்டும் எண்ணி, கர்த்தருக்குப் புதிய போஜனபலியைச் செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்.

Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.

நீங்கள் ஒரு மரக்காலிலே பத்தில் இரண்டு பங்காகிய மெல்லிய மாவிலே புளிப்பாகப் பாகம்பண்ணப்பட்ட அசைவாட்டும் காணிக்கையாயிருக்கிற இரண்டு அப்பங்களை உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலிருந்து கர்த்தருக்கென்று முதற்பலனாகக் கொண்டுவந்து,

Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

அப்பத்தோடேகூடக் கர்த்தருக்குச் சர்வாங்கதகனபலியாக, ஒருவயதான பழுதற்ற ஏழு ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளையும், ஒரு காளையையும், இரண்டு ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும், கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனபலியாக அவைகளுக்கு அடுத்த போஜனபலியையும், பானபலியையும் செலுத்தி,

And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.

வெள்ளாடுகளில் ஒரு கடாவைப் பாவநிவாரணபலியாகவும், ஒருவயதான இரண்டு ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளைச் சமாதானபலியாகவும் இடக்கடவீர்கள்.

Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.

அவைகளை ஆசாரியன் முதற்பலனாகிய அப்பத்தோடும் இரண்டு ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளோடுங்கூட கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அசைவாட்டும் பலியாக அசைவாட்டக்கடவன்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாகிய அவைகள் ஆசாரியனுடையவைகளாகும்.

And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.

அந்த நாள் உங்களுக்குச் சபைகூடும் பரிசுத்த நாள் என்று கூறவேண்டும்; அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யலாகாது; இது உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலெல்லாம் உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்திய கட்டளை.

And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

உங்கள் தேசத்தின் வெள்ளாண்மையை நீங்கள் அறுக்கையில், வயலின் ஓரத்தில் இருக்கிறதை முற்றிலும் அறுக்காமலும், சிந்திக்கிடக்கிற கதிர்களைப் பொறுக்காமலும், எளியவனுக்கும் பரதேசிக்கும் அவைகளை விட்டுவிடவேண்டும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.

பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: உங்களுக்கு ஏழாம் மாதம் முதலாந்தேதி எக்காளச்சத்தத்தால் ஞாபக்குறியாகக் கொண்டாடுகிற பண்டிகை என்கிற சபை கூடும் பரிசுத்த ஓய்வுநாளாய் இருப்பதாக.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யாமல், கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலி செலுத்தவேண்டும் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

அந்த ஏழாம் மாதம் பத்தாந்தேதி உங்களுக்குப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும் நாளும் சபைகூடும் பரிசுத்தநாளுமாயிருப்பதாக; அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களைத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தி, கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலி செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்.

Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

அந்த நாள் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யப்படும் பாவநிவாரண நாளாயிருக்கிறபடியால், அதிலே யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்.

And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.

அந்நாளிலே தன்னைத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தாத எந்த ஆத்துமாவும் தன் ஜனத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டுபோவான்.

For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.

அந்நாளிலே ஒரு ஆத்துமா யாதொரு வேலையைச் செய்தால், அந்த ஆத்துமாவை அவன் ஜனத்தின் நடுவிலே வைக்காமல் அழிப்பேன்.

And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

அதில் நீங்கள் எந்த வேலையும் செய்யாதிருப்பது உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலெல்லாம் உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்தியகட்டளை.

Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

அது உங்களுக்கு விசேஷித்த ஓய்வு நாள்; அதில் உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களைத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தவேண்டும்; அந்த மாதத்தின் ஒன்பதாந்தேதி சாயங்காலம் துவக்கி, மறுநாள் சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் உங்கள் ஓய்வை ஆசரிக்கக்கடவீர்கள் என்றார்.

It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: அந்த ஏழாம் மாதம் பதினைந்தாந்தேதிமுதல் ஏழுநாளளவும் கர்த்தருக்கு ஆசரிக்கும் கூடாரப்பண்டிகையாயிருப்பதாக.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

முதலாம் நாள் சபைகூடும் பரிசுத்தநாள்; அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யலாகாது.

On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

ஏழுநாளும் கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலி செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்; எட்டாம் நாள் உங்களுக்குச் சபைகூடும் பரிசுத்தநாள்; அதிலே கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலி செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்; அது ஆசரிக்கப்படும் நாள்; அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்.

Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

நீங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஓய்வுநாட்களில் செலுத்துவதும் தவிர, நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்குப் படைக்கிற உங்கள் எல்லாக் காணிக்கைகளும் பொருத்தனைகளும் உற்சாகபலிகளும் தவிர,

These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:

நீங்கள் அந்தந்த நாளுக்குத்தக்கதாய்க் கர்த்தருக்குச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலி, போஜனபலி, இரத்தபலி, பானபலி முதலானவைகளைச் செலுத்தும்படி சபைகூடி வந்து, பரிசுத்தமாய் ஆசரிப்பதற்காக நீங்கள் கூறவேண்டிய கர்த்தருடைய பண்டிகைகள் இவைகளே.

Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.

நிலத்தின் பலனை நீங்கள் சேர்த்து வைக்கும் ஏழாம் மாதம் பதினைந்தாந்தேதிமுதல் கர்த்தருக்குப் பண்டிகையை ஏழுநாள் ஆசரிக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; முதலாம் நாளிலும் ஓய்வு; எட்டாம் நாளிலும் ஓய்வு.

Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

முதல் நாளிலே அலங்காரமான விருட்சங்களின் கனிகளையும் பேரீச்சின் ஓலைகளையும் தழைத்திருக்கிற விருட்சங்களின் கிளைகளையும் ஆற்றலரிகளையும் கொண்டுவந்து, உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் ஏழுநாளும் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருங்கள்.

And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

வருஷந்தோறும் ஏழுநாள் கர்த்தருக்கு இந்தப் பண்டிகையை ஆசரிக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; இது உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்திய கட்டளை; ஏழாம் மாதத்தில் அதை ஆசரிக்கவேண்டும்.

And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

நான் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினபோது, அவர்களைக் கூடாரங்களில் குடியிருக்கப்பண்ணினதை உங்கள் சந்ததியார் அறியும்படிக்கு,

Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:

ஏழுநாள் கூடாரங்களில் குடியிருக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; இஸ்ரவேலில் பிறந்தவர்கள் எல்லாரும் கூடாரங்களில் வாசம்பண்ணவேண்டும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

அப்படியே மோசே கர்த்தருடைய பண்டிகைகளை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குத் தெரிவித்தான்.

And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.

பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

குத்துவிளக்கு எப்பொழுதும் எரிந்துகொண்டிருக்கும்படி அதற்காக இடித்துப்பிழிந்த தெளிவான ஒலிவ எண்ணெயை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் உன்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரும்படி அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடு.

Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.

ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் சாட்சிசந்நிதியின் திரைக்கு வெளிப்புறமாக ஆரோன் அதை எப்பொழுதும் சாயங்காலம் தொடங்கி விடியற்காலம்மட்டும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் எரியும்படி ஏற்றக்கடவன்; இது உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்தியகட்டளை.

Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.

அவன் எப்பொழுதும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்தமான குத்துவிளக்கின்மேல் இருக்கிற விளக்குகளை எரியவைக்கக்கடவன்.

He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.

அன்றியும் நீ மெல்லிய மாவை எடுத்து, அதைப் பன்னிரண்டு அப்பங்களாகச் சுடுவாயாக; ஒவ்வொரு அப்பம் மரக்காலிலே பத்தில் இரண்டுபங்கு மாவினால் செய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.

அவைகளை நீ கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்தமான மேஜையின்மேல் இரண்டு அடுக்காக, ஒவ்வொரு அடுக்கில் அவ்வாறு அப்பம் இருக்கும்படியாக வைத்து,

And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD.

ஒவ்வொரு அடுக்கினிடத்தில் சுத்தமான தூபவர்க்கம் போடக்கடவாய்; அது அப்பத்தோடிருந்து, ஞாபகக்குறியாகக் கர்த்தருக்கேற்ற தகனபலியாயிருக்கும்.

And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

அப்பத்தை நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாக இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கையிலே வாங்கி, ஓய்வுநாள்தோறும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அடுக்கிவைக்கக்கடவன்.

Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

அது ஆரோனையும் அவன் குமாரரையும் சேரும்; அதைப் பரிசுத்த இடத்திலே புசிக்கக்கடவர்கள்; நித்தியகட்டளையாக கர்த்தருக்கு இடப்படும் தகனபலிகளில் அது அவனுக்கு மகா பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும் என்றார்.

And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.

அக்காலத்திலே இஸ்ரவேல் ஜாதியான ஸ்திரீக்கும் எகிப்திய புருஷனுக்கும் பிறந்த புத்திரனாகிய ஒருவன் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடேகூடப் புறப்பட்டு வந்திருந்தான்; இவனும் இஸ்ரவேலனாகிய ஒரு மனிதனும் பாளயத்திலே சண்டைபண்ணினார்கள்.

And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;

அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் ஜாதியான அந்த ஸ்திரீயின் மகன் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தை நிந்தித்துத் தூஷித்தான். அவனை மோசேயினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். அவன் தாயின் பேர் செலோமித்; அவள் தாண் கோத்திரத்தானாகிய திப்ரியின் குமாரத்தி.

And the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the LORD, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)

கர்த்தரின் வாக்கினாலே தங்களுக்கு உத்தரவு வருமட்டும், அவனைக் காவல்படுத்தினார்கள்.

And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

தூஷித்தவனைப் பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே கொண்டுபோ; கேட்டவர்கள் எல்லாரும் தங்கள் கைகளை அவன் தலையின்மேல் வைப்பார்களாக; பின்பு சபையார் எல்லாரும் அவனைக் கல்லெறியக்கடவர்கள்.

Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

மேலும் நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை நோக்கி: எவனாகிலும் தன் தேவனைத் தூஷித்தால், அவன் தன் பாவத்தைச் சுமப்பான்.

And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை நிந்திக்கிறவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்; சபையார் எல்லாரும் அவனைக் கல்லெறியவேண்டும்; பரதேசியானாலும் சுதேசியானாலும் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தைத் தூஷிக்கிறவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death.

ஒரு மனிதனைக் கொல்லுகிறவன் எவனோ அவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.

மிருகத்தைக் கொன்றவன் மிருகத்துக்கு மிருகம் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

And he that killeth a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.

ஒருவன் பிறனை ஊனப்படுத்தினால், அவன் செய்தபடியே அவனுக்கும் செய்யப்படக்கடவது.

And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;

நொறுக்குதலுக்கு நொறுக்குதல், கண்ணுக்குக் கண், பல்லுக்குப் பல்; அவன் ஒரு மனிதனை ஊனப்படுத்தினது போல அவனும் ஊனப்படுத்தப்படவேண்டும்.

Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.

மிருகத்தைக் கொன்றவன் பதில் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; மனிதனைக் கொன்றவனோ கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன்.

And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.

உங்களில் பரதேசிக்கும் சுதேசிக்கும் ஒரே நியாயம் இருக்கவேண்டும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.

அப்படியே, தூஷித்தவனைப் பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே கொண்டுபோய், அவனைக் கல்லெறியும்படி மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொன்னான்; கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்தார்கள்.

And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.

லூக்கா அத்தியாயம் 13

பிலாத்து சில கலிலேயருடைய இரத்தத்தை அவர்களுடைய பலிகளோடே கலந்திருந்தான்; அந்த வேளையிலே அங்கே இருந்தவர்களில் சிலர் அந்தச் செய்தியை அவருக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள்.

There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

இயேசு அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: அந்தக் கலிலேயருக்கு அப்படிப்பட்டவைகள் சம்பவித்ததினாலே, மற்ற எல்லாக் கலிலேயரைப்பார்க்கிலும் அவர்கள் பாவிகளாயிருந்தார்களென்று நினைக்கிறீர்களோ?

And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?

அப்படியல்லவென்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்; நீங்கள் மனந்திரும்பாமற்போனால் எல்லாரும் அப்படியே கெட்டுப்போவீர்கள்.

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

சீலோவாமிலே கோபுரம் விழுந்து பதினெட்டுப்பேரைக் கொன்றதே; எருசலேமில் குடியிருக்கிற மனுஷரெல்லாரிலும் அவர்கள் குற்றவாளிகளாயிருந்தார்களென்று நினைக்கிறீர்களோ?

Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

அப்படியல்லவென்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்; நீங்கள் மனந்திரும்பாமற்போனால் எல்லாரும் அப்படியே கெட்டுப்போவீர்கள் என்றார்.

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

அப்பொழுது அவர் ஒரு உவமையையும் சொன்னார்: ஒருவன் தன் திராட்சத்தோட்டத்தில் ஒரு அத்திமரத்தை நட்டிருந்தான்; அவன் வந்து அதிலே கனியைத் தேடினபோது ஒன்றுங்காணவில்லை.

He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

அப்பொழுது அவன் தோட்டக்காரனை நோக்கி: இதோ, மூன்று வருஷமாய் இந்த அத்திமரத்திலே கனியைத் தேடிவருகிறேன்; ஒன்றையுங்காணவில்லை, இதை வெட்டிப்போடு, இது நிலத்தையும் ஏன் கெடுக்கிறது என்றான்.

Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

அதற்கு அவன்: ஐயா, இது இந்த வருஷமும் இருக்கட்டும்; நான் இதைச் சுற்றிலுங்கொத்தி, எருப்போடுவேன்,

And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

கனிகொடுத்தால் சரி, கொடாவிட்டால், இனிமேல் இதை வெட்டிப்போடலாம் என்று சொன்னான் என்றார்.

And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

ஒரு ஓய்வுநாளில் அவர் ஜெபஆலயத்தில் போதகம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்.

And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.

அப்பொழுது பதினெட்டுவருஷமாய்ப் பலவீனப்படுத்தும் ஆவியைக்கொண்ட ஒரு ஸ்திரீ அங்கேயிருந்தாள். அவள் எவ்வளவும் நிமிரக்கூடாத கூனியாயிருந்தாள்.

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

இயேசு அவளைக் கண்டு, தம்மிடத்தில் அழைத்து: ஸ்திரீயே, உன் பலவீனத்தினின்று விடுதலையாக்கப்பட்டாய் என்று சொல்லி,

And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

அவள்மேல் தமது கைகளை வைத்தார்; உடனே அவள் நிமிர்ந்து, தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினாள்.

And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

இயேசு ஓய்வுநாளிலே சொஸ்தமாக்கினபடியால், ஜெபஆலயத்தலைவன் கோபமடைந்து, ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: வேலைசெய்கிறதற்கு ஆறுநாள் உண்டே, அந்த நாட்களிலே நீங்கள் வந்து சொஸ்தமாக்கிக்கொள்ளுங்கள், ஓய்வுநாளிலே அப்படிச் செய்யலாகாது என்றான்.

And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

கர்த்தர் அவனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: மாயக்காரனே, உங்களில் எவனும் ஓய்வுநாளில் தன் எருதையாவது தன் கழுதையையாவது தொழுவத்திலிருந்து அவிழ்த்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அதற்குத் தண்ணீர் காட்டுகிறதில்லையா?

The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

இதோ, சாத்தான் பதினெட்டு வருஷமாய்க் கட்டியிருந்த ஆபிரகாமின் குமாரத்தியாகிய இவளை ஓய்வுநாளில் இந்தக் கட்டிலிருந்து அவிழ்த்துவிடவேண்டியதில்லையா என்றார்.

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

அவர் அப்படிச் சொன்னபோது, அவரை விரோதித்திருந்த அனைவரும் வெட்கப்பட்டார்கள். ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் அவரால் செய்யப்பட்ட சகல மகிமையான செய்கைகளைக்குறித்தும் சந்தோஷப்பட்டார்கள்.

And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி: தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் எதற்கொப்பாயிருக்கிறது; அதை எதற்கு ஒப்பிடுவேன்?

Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

அது ஒரு கடுகுவிதைக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது; அதை ஒரு மனுஷன் எடுத்துத் தன் தோட்டத்திலே போட்டான்; அது வளர்ந்து, பெரிய மரமாயிற்று; ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் வந்து, அதின் கிளைகளில் அடைந்தது என்றார்.

It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

மேலும் அவர்: தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தை நான் எதற்கு ஒப்பிடுவேன்?

And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

அது புளித்தமாவுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது; அதை ஒரு ஸ்திரீ எடுத்து முழுவதும் புளிக்கும்வரைக்கும் மூன்றுபடிமாவிலே அடக்கிவைத்தாள் என்றார்.

It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

அவர் எருசலேமுக்குப் பிரயாணமாய்ப் போகும்போது, பட்டணங்கள்தோறும் கிராமங்கள்தோறும் உபதேசம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டுபோனார்.

And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

அப்பொழுது ஒருவன் அவரை நோக்கி: ஆண்டவரே, இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறவர்கள் சிலபேர்தானோ என்று கேட்டான்; அதற்கு அவர்:

Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

இடுக்கமான வாசல்வழியாய் உட்பிரவேசிக்கப் பிரயாசப்படுங்கள், அநேகர் உட்பிரவேசிக்க வகைதேடினாலும் அவர்களாலே கூடாமற்போகும் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

வீட்டெஜமான் எழுந்து, கதவைப் பூட்டினபின்பு, நீங்கள் வெளியே நின்று: ஆண்டவரே, ஆண்டவரே, எங்களுக்குத் திறக்கவேண்டுமென்று சொல்லிக் கதவைத் தட்டும்போது, அவர் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: நீங்கள் எவ்விடத்தாரோ, உங்களை அறியேன் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுவார்.

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

அப்பொழுது நீங்கள்: உம்முடைய சமுகத்தில் போஜனபானம்பண்ணினோமே, நீர் எங்கள் வீதிகளில் போதகம்பண்ணினீரே என்று சொல்லுவீர்கள்.

Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

ஆனாலும் அவர்: நீங்கள் எவ்விடத்தாரோ, உங்களை அறியேன், அக்கிரமக்காரராகிய நீங்களெல்லாரும் என்னைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள் என்று சொல்லுவார் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

நீங்கள் ஆபிரகாமையும் ஈசாக்கையும் யாக்கோபையும் சகல தீர்க்கதரிசிகளையும் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்திலிருக்கிறவர்களாகவும், உங்களையோ புறம்பே தள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாகவும் காணும்போது உங்களுக்கு அழுகையும் பற்கடிப்பும் அங்கே உண்டாயிருக்கும்.

There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

கிழக்கிலும் மேற்கிலும் வடக்கிலும் தெற்கிலும் இருந்த ஜனங்கள் வந்து, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பந்தியிருப்பார்கள.

And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

அப்பொழுது முந்தினோர் பிந்தினோராவார்கள், பிந்தினோர் முந்தினோராவார்கள் என்றார்.

And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

அந்த நாளிலே சில பரிசேயர் அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: நீர் இவ்விடத்தை விட்டுப் போய்விடும்; ஏரோது உம்மைக் கொலைசெய்ய மனதாய் இருக்கிறான் என்றார்கள்.

The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.

அதற்கு அவர்: நான் இன்றைக்கும் நாளைக்கும் பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்தி, வியாதியுள்ளவர்களைச் சொஸ்தமாக்கி, மூன்றாம் நாளில் நிறைவடைவேன்.

And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

இன்றைக்கும் நாளைக்கும் மறுநாளைக்கும் நான் நடமாடவேண்டும்; எருசலேமுக்குப் புறம்பே ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியும் மடிந்துபோகிறதில்லையென்று நான் சொன்னதாக நீங்கள் போய் அந்த நரிக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்.

Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

எருசலேமே, எருசலேமே, தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக் கொலைசெய்து, உன்னிடத்தில் அனுப்பப்பட்டவர்களைக் கல்லெறிகிறவளே! கோழி தன் குஞ்சுகளைத் தன் சிறகுகளின் கீழே கூட்டிச் சேர்த்துக் கொள்ளும்வண்ணமாக நான் எத்தனைதரமோ உன் பிள்ளைகளைக் கூட்டிச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தேன்; உங்களுக்கோ மனதில்லாமற்போயிற்று.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

இதோ, உங்கள் வீடு உங்களுக்குப் பாழாக்கிவிடப்படும்; கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தினாலே வருகிறவர் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்பட்டவர் என்று நீங்கள் சொல்லுங்காலம் வருமளவும் என்னைக் காணாதிருப்பீர்கள் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.

Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
