சங்கீதம் அத்தியாயம் 8

எங்கள் ஆண்டவராகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நாமம் பூமியெங்கும் எவ்வளவு மேன்மையுள்ளதாயிருக்கிறது! உம்முடைய மகத்துவத்தை வானங்களுக்கு மேலாக வைத்தீர்.

O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

பகைஞனையும் பழிகாரனையும் அடக்கிப்போட, தேவரீர் உம்முடைய சத்துருக்களினிமித்தம் குழந்தைகள் பாலகர் வாயினால் பெலன் உண்டுபண்ணினீர்.

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

உமது விரல்களின் கிரியையாகிய உம்முடைய வானங்களையும், நீர் ஸ்தாபித்த சந்திரனையும் நட்சத்திரங்களையும் நான் பார்க்கும்போது,

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

மனுஷனை நீர் நினைக்கிறதற்கும், மனுஷகுமாரனை நீர் விசாரிக்கிறதற்கும் அவன் எம்மாத்திரம் என்கிறேன்.

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

நீர் அவனைத் தேவதூதரிலும் சற்றுச் சிறியவனாக்கினீர்; மகிமையினாலும் கனத்தினாலும் அவனை முடிசூட்டினீர்.

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

உம்முடைய கரத்தின் கிரியைகளின்மேல் நீர் அவனுக்கு ஆளுகை தந்து.

Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

ஆடுமாடுகளெல்லாவற்றையும், காட்டுமிருகங்களையும்,

All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளையும், சமுத்திரத்து மீன்களையும், கடல்களில் சஞ்சரிக்கிறவைகளையும் அவனுடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினீர்.

The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

எங்கள் ஆண்டவராகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நாமம் பூமியெங்கும் எவ்வளவு மேன்மையுள்ளதாயிருக்கிறது!

O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

சங்கீதம் அத்தியாயம் 9

கர்த்தாவே, என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; உம்முடைய அதிசயங்களையெல்லாம் விவரிப்பேன்.

I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்து களிகூருவேன்; உன்னதமானவரே, உமது நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுவேன்.

I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

என் சத்துருக்கள் பின்னாகத் திரும்பும்போது, உமது சமுகத்தில் அவர்கள் இடறுண்டு அழிந்துபோவார்கள்.

When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

நீர் என் நியாயத்தையும் என் வழக்கையும் தீர்த்து, நீதியுள்ள நியாயாதிபதியாய் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கிறீர்.

For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.

ஜாதிகளைக் கடிந்துகொண்டு, துன்மார்க்கரை அழித்து, அவர்கள் நாமத்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் இல்லாதபடி குலைத்துப்போட்டீர்.

Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

சத்துருக்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் பாழாக்கப்பட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் பட்டணங்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கினீர்; அவர்களைப் பற்றிய நினைவும் அற்றுப் போயிற்று.

O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

கர்த்தரோ என்றென்றைக்கும் வீற்றிருப்பார்; தம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தை நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்கென்று எற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்.

But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

அவர் பூவுலகை நீதியாய் நியாயந்தீர்த்து, சகல ஜனங்களுக்கும் செம்மையாய் நீதிசெய்வார்.

And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்குக் கர்த்தர் அடைக்கலமானவர்; நெருக்கப்படுகிற காலங்களில் அவரே தஞ்சமானவர்.

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைத் தேடுகிறவர்களை நீர் கைவிடுகிறதில்லை; ஆதலால், உமது நாமத்தை அறிந்தவர்கள் உம்மை நம்பியிருப்பார்கள்.

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

சீயோனில் வாசமாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணி, அவர் செய்கைகளை ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே அறிவியுங்கள்.

Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

எனெனில் இரத்தப்பழிகளைக்குறித்து அவர் விசாரணை செய்யும்போது, அவர்களை நினைக்கிறார்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய கூக்குரலை மறவார்.

When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

மரணவாசல்களிலிருந்து என்னைத் தூக்கிவிடுகிற கர்த்தாவே, நான் உம்முடைய துதிகளையெல்லாம் சீயோன் குமாரத்தியின் வாசல்களில் விவரித்து, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பினால் களிகூரும்படிக்கு,

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

தேவரீர் எனக்கு இரங்கி, என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களால் எனக்குவரும் துன்பத்தை நோக்கிப்பாரும்.

That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

ஜாதிகள் தாங்கள் வெட்டின குழியில் தாங்களே விழுந்தார்கள்: அவர்கள் மறைவாய் வைத்த வலையில் அவர்களுடைய கால்களே அகப்பட்டுக்கொண்டன.

The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

கர்த்தர் தாம் செய்த நியாயத்தினால் அறியப்படுகிறார்; துன்மார்க்கன் தன் கைகளின் செய்கையிலே சிக்கிக்கொண்டான். (இகாயோன், சேலா.)

The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

துன்மார்க்கரும், தேவனை மறக்கிற எல்லா ஜாதிகளும், நரகத்திலே தள்ளப்படுவார்கள்.

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

எளியவன் என்றைக்கும் மறக்கப்படுவதில்லை; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய நம்பிக்கை ஒருபோதும் கெட்டுப்போவதில்லை.

For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

எழுந்தருளும் கர்த்தாவே, மனுஷன் பெலன்கொள்ளாதபடி செய்யும்; ஜாதிகள் உம்முடைய சமுகத்தில் நியாயந்தீர்க்கப்படக்கடவர்கள்.

Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

ஜாதிகள் தங்களை மனுஷர்தான் என்று அறியும்படிக்கு, அவர்களுக்குப் பயமுண்டாக்கும், கர்த்தாவே. (சேலா)

Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

சங்கீதம் அத்தியாயம் 10

கர்த்தாவே, ஏன் தூரத்தில் நிற்கிறீர்? துன்பம் நேரிடுகிற சமயங்களில் நீர் ஏன் மறைந்திருக்கிறீர்?

Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

துன்மார்க்கன் தன் பெருமையினால் சிறுமைப்பட்டவனைக் கடூரமாய்த் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறான்; அவர்கள் நினைத்த சதிமோசங்களில் அவர்களே அகப்படுவார்கள்.

The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

துன்மார்க்கன் தன் உள்ளத்தின் இச்சையில் பெருமை பாராட்டுகிறான், பொருளை அபகரிக்கிறவன் கர்த்தரைச் சபித்து அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறான்.

For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

துன்மார்க்கன் தன் கர்வத்தினால் தேவனைத் தேடான்; அவன் நினைவுகளெல்லாம் தேவன் இல்லை என்பதே.

The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

அவன் வழிகள் எப்போதும் கேடுள்ளவைகள்; உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் அவன் பார்வைக்கு எட்டாமல் மிகவும் உயரமாயிருக்கின்றன; தன் எதிராளிகள் எல்லார்மேலும் சீறுகிறான்.

His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

'நான் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை, தலைமுறை தலைமுறைதோறும் தீங்கு என்னை அணுகுவதில்லை' என்று தன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்ளுகிறான்.

He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

அவன் வாய் சபிப்பினாலும் கபடத்தினாலும் கொடுமையினாலும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; அவன் நாவின்கீழ் தீவினையும் அக்கிரமமும் உண்டு.

His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

கிராமங்களின் ஒளிப்பிடங்களிலே பதிவிருந்து, மறைவிடங்களிலே குற்றமற்றவனைக் கொல்லுகிறான்; திக்கற்றவர்களைப் பிடிக்க அவன் கண்கள் நோக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.

He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

தன் கெபியிலிருக்கிற சிங்கத்தைப்போல மறைவில் பதிவிருக்கிறான்; ஏழையைப் பிடிக்கப் பதிவிருந்து, அவனைத் தன் வலைக்குள் இழுத்துப் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறான்.

He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

திக்கற்றவர்கள் தன் பலவான்கள் கையில் விழும்படி அவன் பதுங்கிக் கிடக்கிறான்.

He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

' தேவன் அதை மறந்தார் என்று, அவர் தம்முடைய முகத்தை மறைத்து, ஒருக்காலும் அதைக் காணமாட்டார்' என்றும், தன் இருதயத்திலே சொல்லிகொள்ளுகிறான்.

He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

கர்த்தாவே, எழுந்தருளும்; தேவனே, உம்முடைய கையை உயர்த்தும்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களை மறவாதேயும்.

Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

துன்மார்க்கன் தேவனை அசட்டைபண்ணி, 'நீர் கேட்டு விசாரிப்பதில்லை' என்று தன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்வானேன்?

Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.

அதைப் பார்த்திருக்கிறீரே! உபத்திரவத்தையும் குரோதத்தையும் கவனித்திருக்கிறீரே; நீர் பதிலளிப்பீர்; ஏழையானவன் தன்னை உமக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கிறான்; திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்குச் சகாயர் நீரே.

Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

துன்மார்க்கனும் பொல்லாதவனுமாயிருக்கிறவனுடைய புயத்தை முறித்துவிடும்; அவனுடைய துன்மார்கம் காணாமற்போகுமட்டும் அதைத் தேடி விசாரியும்.

Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

கர்த்தர் சதாகாலங்களுக்கும் இராஜாவாயிருக்கிறார்; புறஜாதியார் அவருடைய தேசத்திலிருந்து அழிந்து போவார்கள்.

The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

கர்த்தாவே, சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய வேண்டுதலைக் கேட்டிருக்கிறீர்; அவர்கள் இருதயத்தை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவீர்.

LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

மண்ணான மனுஷன் இனிப் பலவந்தஞ்செய்யத் தொடராதபடிக்கு, தேவரீர் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கும் நீதிசெய்ய உம்முடைய செவியைச் சாய்த்துக் கேட்டருளுவீர்.

To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

சங்கீதம் அத்தியாயம் 11

நான் கர்த்தரிடத்தில் அடைக்கலம் புகுந்திருக்கிறேன்; பின்னை ஏன் நீங்கள் என் ஆத்துமாவை நோக்கி, 'பட்சியைப்போல உன் மலைக்குப் பறந்துபோ' என்று சொல்லுகிறீர்கள்.

In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

இதோ, துன்மார்க்கர் வில்லை வளைத்து, செம்மையான இருதயத்தார்மேல் அந்தகாரத்தில் எய்யும்படி தங்கள் அம்புகளை நாணிலே தொடுக்கிறார்கள்.

For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

அஸ்திபாரங்களும் நிர்மூலமாகின்றனவே, நீதிமான் என்னசெய்வான்?

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த ஆலயத்தில் இருக்கிறார்; கர்த்தருடைய சிங்காசனம் பரலோகத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவருடைய கண்கள் மனுபுத்திரரைப் பார்க்கின்றன அவருடைய இமைகள் அவர்களைச் சோதித்தறிகின்றன.

The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

கர்த்தர் நீதிமானைச் சோதித்தறிகிறார்; துன்மார்க்கனையும் கொடுமையில் பிரியமுள்ளவனையும் அவருடைய உள்ளம் வெறுக்கிறது.

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

துன்மார்க்கர்மேல் கண்ணிகளை வருஷிக்கப்பண்ணுவார்; அக்கினியும் கந்தகமும் அனல் காற்றும் அவர்கள் குடிக்கும் பாத்திரத்தின் பங்கு.

Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

கர்த்தர் நீதியுள்ளவர், நீதியின்மேல் பிரியப்படுவார்; அவருடைய முகம் செம்மையானவனை நோக்கியிருக்கிறது.

For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

சங்கீதம் அத்தியாயம் 12

இரட்சியும் கர்த்தாவே, பக்தியுள்ளவன் அற்றுப்போகிறான்; உண்மையுள்ளவர்கள் மனுபுத்திரரில் இல்லை.

Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

அவரவர் தங்கள் தோழரோடே பொய் பேசுகிறார்கள்; இச்சக உதடுகளால் இருமனதாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்.

They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

இச்சகம் பேசுகிற எல்லா உதடுகளையும், பெருமைகளைப் பேசுகிற நாவையும் கர்த்தர் அறுத்துப்போடுவாராக.

The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

அவர்கள், எங்கள் நாவுகளால் மேற்கொள்ளுவோம், எங்கள் உதடுகள் எங்களுடையவை; யார் எங்களுக்கு ஆண்டவன் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

ஏழைகள் பாழாக்கப்பட்டதினிமித்தமும், எளியவர்கள் விடும் பெருமூச்சினிமித்தமும், நான் இப்பொழுது எழுந்து, அவன் ஏங்குகிற பாதுகாப்பிலே அவனை வைப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

கர்த்தருடைய சொற்கள் மண் உலையில் ஏழுதரம் உருக்கி, புடமிடப்பட்ட வெள்ளிக்கொப்பான சுத்தசொற்களாயிருக்கின்றன.

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

கர்த்தாவே, நீர் அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்றி, அவர்களை என்றைக்கும் இந்த தலைமுறையாரிடமிருந்து விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவீர்.

Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

மனுபுத்திரரில் சண்டாளர் உயர்ந்திருக்கும்போது, துன்மார்க்கர் எங்கும் சுற்றித்திரிவார்கள்.

The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

சங்கீதம் அத்தியாயம் 13

கர்த்தாவே, எதுவரைக்கும் என்னை மறந்திருப்பீர், எதுவரைக்கும் உம்முடைய முகத்தை எனக்கு மறைப்பீர்?

How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

என் இருதயத்திலே சஞ்சலத்தை நித்தம் நித்தம் வைத்து, எதுவரைக்கும் என் ஆத்துமாவிலே ஆலோசனைபண்ணிக்கொண்டிருப்பேன்? எதுவரைக்கும் என் சத்துரு என்மேல் தன்னை உயர்த்துவான்?

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீர் நோக்கிப்பார்த்து, எனக்குப் பதில் அருளும்; நான் மரணநித்திரை அடையாதபடிக்கு என் கண்களைத் தெளிவாக்கும்.

Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

அவனை மேற்கொண்டேன் என்று என் பகைஞன் சொல்லாதபடிக்கும், நான் தள்ளாடுகிறதினால் என் சத்துருக்கள் களிகூராதபடிக்கும் இப்படிச் செய்தருளும்.

Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

நான் உம்முடைய கிருபையின்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பினால் என் இருதயம் களிகூரும்.

But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

கர்த்தர் எனக்கு நன்மைசெய்தபடியால் அவரைப் பாடுவேன்.

I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

சங்கீதம் அத்தியாயம் 14

'தேவன் இல்லை' என்று மதிகேடன் தன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்ளுகிறான். அவர்கள் தங்களைக்கெடுத்து, அருவருப்பான கிரியைகளைச் செய்துவருகிறார்கள்; நன்மைசெய்கிறவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை.

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

தேவனைத் தேடுகிற உணர்வுள்ளவன் உண்டோ என்று பார்க்க, கர்த்தர் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து மனுபுத்திரரைக் கண்ணோக்கினார்.

The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

எல்லாரும் வழிவிலகி, ஏகமாய்க் கெட்டுப்போனார்கள்; நன்மை செய்கிறவன் இல்லை, ஒருவனாகிலும் இல்லை.

They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

அக்கிரமக்காரரில் ஒருவனுக்கும் அறிவு இல்லையோ? அப்பத்தைப் பட்சிக்கிறதுபோல, என் ஜனத்தைப் பட்சிக்கிறார்களே; அவர்கள் கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறதில்லை.

Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

அங்கே அவர்கள் மிகவும் பயந்தார்கள்; தேவன் நீதிமானுடைய சந்ததியோடே இருக்கிறாரே.

There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்குக் கர்த்தர் அடைக்கலமாயிருக்கிறார் என்பதால், நீங்கள் அவனுடைய ஆலோசனையை அலட்சியம்பண்ணினீர்கள்.

Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.

சீயோனிலிருந்து இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு இரட்சிப்பு வருவதாக; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தின் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்பும்போது, யாக்கோபுக்குக் களிப்பும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியும் உண்டாகும்.

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

மாற்கு அத்தியாயம் 13

அவர் தேவாலயத்தை விட்டுப் புறப்படும்போது, அவருடைய சீஷர்களில் ஒருவன் அவரை நோக்கி: போதகரே, இதோ, இந்தக் கல்லுகள் எப்படிப்பட்டது! இந்தக் கட்டடங்கள் எப்படிப்பட்டது! பாரும் என்றான்.

And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

இயேசு அவனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: இந்தப் பெரிய கட்டடங்களைக் காண்கிறாயே, ஒரு கல்லின்மேல் ஒரு கல்லிராதபடிக்கு எல்லாம் இடிக்கப்பட்டுப்போகும் என்றார்.

And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

இவைகள் எப்பொழுது சம்பவிக்கும்? இவைகளெல்லாம் நிறைவேறுங்காலத்துக்கு அடையாளம் என்ன? எங்களுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்.

Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

இயேசு அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: ஒருவனும் உங்களை வஞ்சியாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்.

And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

ஏனெனில் அநேகர் வந்து, என் நாமத்தைக்கொண்டு: நானே கிறிஸ்து என்று சொல்லி, அநேகரை வஞ்சிப்பார்கள்.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

யுத்தங்களையும் யுத்தங்களின் செய்திகளையும் கேள்விப்படும்போது கலங்காதேயுங்கள்; இவைகள் சம்பவிக்கவேண்டியதே. ஆனாலும், முடிவு உடனே வராது.

And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

ஜனத்துக்கு விரோதமாய் ஜனமும், ராஜ்யத்துக்கு விரோதமாய் ராஜ்யமும் எழும்பும்; பூமியதிர்ச்சிகளும் பல இடங்களில் உண்டாகும்; பஞ்சங்களும் கலகங்களும் உண்டாகும்; இவைகள் வேதனைகளுக்கு ஆரம்பம்.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

நீங்களோ எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள், ஏனெனில் உங்களை ஆலோசனைச் சங்கங்களுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பார்கள், நீங்கள் ஜெபஆலயங்களில் அடிக்கப்படுவீர்கள்; என்னிமித்தம் தேசாதிபதிகளுக்கும் ராஜாக்களுக்கும் சாட்சியாக அவர்களுக்குமுன்பாக நிறுத்தப்படுவீர்கள்.

But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

சகல ஜாதிகளுக்கும் சுவிசேஷம் முந்திப் பிரசங்கிக்கப்படவேண்டும்.

And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

அவர்கள் உங்களைக் கொண்டுபோய் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது, நீங்கள் என்ன பேசுவோமென்று முன்னதாகக் கவலைப்படாமலும் சிந்தியாமலுமிருங்கள்; அந்நாழிகையிலே உங்களுக்கு எது அருள் செய்யப்படுமோ அதையே பேசுங்கள்; ஏனெனில் பேசுகிறவர்கள் நீங்களல்ல, பரிசுத்த ஆவியே பேசுகிறவர்.

But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

அன்றியும் சகோதரன் சகோதரனையும், தகப்பன் பிள்ளையையும் மரணத்துக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பார்கள்; பெற்றாருக்கு விரோதமாகப் பிள்ளைகள் எழும்பி, அவர்களைக் கொலைசெய்வார்கள்.

Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் எல்லாராலும் பகைக்கப்படுவீர்கள். முடிவுபரியந்தம் நிலைநிற்பவனே இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்.

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

மேலும் பாழாக்குகிற அருவருப்பைக்குறித்துத் தானியேல் தீர்க்கதரிசி சொல்லியிருக்கிறானே; வாசிக்கிறவன் சிந்திக்கக்கடவன்; அது நிற்கத்தகாத இடத்திலே நீங்கள் அதை நிற்க காணும்போது, யூதேயாவில் இருக்கிறவர்கள் மலைகளுக்கு ஓடிப்போகக்கடவர்கள்.

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

வீட்டின்மேல் இருக்கிறவன் தன் வீட்டுக்குள் இறங்காமலும், தன் வீட்டில் எதையாகிலும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ள உள்ளேபோகாமலும் இருக்கக்கடவன்.

And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

வயலில் இருக்கிறவன் தன் வஸ்திரத்தை எடுப்பதற்குப் பின்னிட்டுத் திரும்பாதிருக்கக்கடவன்.

And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

அந்நாட்களிலே கர்ப்பவதிகளுக்கும் பால்கொடுக்கிறவர்களுக்கும் ஐயோ!

But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

நீங்கள் ஓடிப்போவது மாரிகாலத்திலே சம்பவியாதபடிக்கு வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

ஏனெனில் தேவன் உலகத்தைச் சிருஷ்டித்ததுமுதல் இதுவரைக்கும் சம்பவித்திராததும், இனிமேலும் சம்பவியாததுமான உபத்திரவம் அந்நாட்களில் உண்டாயிருக்கும்.

For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

கர்த்தர் அந்நாட்களைக் குறைத்திராவிட்டால், ஒருவனாகிலும் தப்பிப்போவதில்லை; தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்களினிமித்தமோ, அவர் அந்த நாட்களைக் குறைத்திருக்கிறார்.

And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

அப்பொழுது: இதோ, கிறிஸ்து இங்கே இருக்கிறார், அதோ, அங்கேயிருக்கிறார் என்று எவனாகிலும் சொன்னால், நம்பாதேயுங்கள்.

And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

ஏனெனில் கள்ளக்கிறிஸ்துக்களும் கள்ளத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் எழும்பி, கூடுமானால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களையும் வஞ்சிக்கத்தக்கதாக அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் செய்வார்கள்.

For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

நீங்களோ எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; இதோ, எல்லாவற்றையும் முன்னதாக உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்திருக்கிறேன்.

But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

அந்நாட்களிலே, அந்த உபத்திரவத்திற்குப் பின்பு, சூரியன் அந்தகாரப்படும், சந்திரன் ஒளியைக் கொடாதிருக்கும்;

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

வானத்தின் நட்சத்திரங்கள் விழும், வானங்களிலுள்ள சத்துவங்களும் அசைக்கப்படும்.

And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

அப்பொழுது மனுஷகுமாரன் மிகுந்த வல்லமையோடும் மகிமையோடும் மேகங்களின்மேல் வருகிறதைக் காண்பார்கள்.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

அப்பொழுது அவர் தம்முடைய தூதரை அனுப்பி, தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்களை பூமியின் கடைமுனை முதற்கொண்டு, வானத்தின் கடைமுனைமட்டுமுள்ள நாலு திசைகளிலுமிருந்து கூட்டிச் சேர்ப்பார்.

And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

அத்திமரத்தினால் ஒரு உவமையைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; அதிலே இளங்கிளைதோன்றி, துளிர்விடும்போது, வசந்தகாலம் சமீபமாயிற்று என்று அறிவீர்கள்.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

அப்படியே இவைகள் சம்பவிக்கிறதை நீங்கள் காணும்போது, அவர் சமீபமாய் வாசலருகே வந்திருக்கிறார் என்று அறியுங்கள்.

So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

இவைகளெல்லாம் சம்பவிக்குமுன்னே இந்தச் சந்ததி ஒழிந்துபோகாதென்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

வானமும் பூமியும் ஒழிந்துபோம், என் வார்த்தைகளோ ஒழிந்துபோவதில்லை.

Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

அந்த நாளையும் அந்த நாழிகையையும் பிதா ஒருவர் தவிர மற்றொருவனும் அறியான், பரலோகத்திலுள்ள தூதர்களும் அறியார்கள், குமாரனும் அறியார்.

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

அக்காலத்தை நீங்கள் அறியாதபடியால் எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள், விழித்திருந்து ஜெபம்பண்ணுங்கள்.

Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

ஒரு மனுஷன் தன் வீட்டைவிட்டு, புறத்தேசத்துக்குப் பிரயாணம்போக எத்தனிக்கும்போது, தன் ஊழியக்காரருக்கு அதிகாரங்கொடுத்து, அவனவனுக்குத் தன்தன் வேலைகளையும், நியமித்து, விழித்திருக்கும்படிக்குக் காவல்காக்கிறவனுக்குக் கற்பிப்பான்.

For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

அப்படியே நீங்களும் விழித்திருங்கள்; ஏனெனில், வீட்டெஜமான் சாயங்காலத்திலோ, நடுராத்திரியிலோ, சேவல் கூவும் நேரத்திலோ, காலையிலோ, எப்பொழுது வருவான் என்று நீங்கள் அறியீர்கள்.

Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

நீங்கள் நினையாதவேளையில் அவன் வந்து, உங்களைத் தூங்குகிறவர்களாகக் கண்டுபிடியாதபடிக்கு விழித்திருங்கள்.

Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறதை எல்லாருக்கும் சொல்லுகிறேன், விழித்திருங்கள் என்றார்.

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
