எண்ணாகமம் அத்தியாயம் 26

அந்த வாதை தீர்ந்தபின்பு, கர்த்தர் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனின் குமாரனும் ஆசாரியனுமாகிய எலெயாசாரையும் நோக்கி:

And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,

இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சமஸ்த சபையாரையும் அவர்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய வம்சத்தின்படி இருபது வயதுமுதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட இஸ்ரவேலிலே யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்கவர்கள் எல்லாரையும் எண்ணுங்கள் என்றார்.

Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers' house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.

அப்பொழுது மோசேயும் ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாரும் எரிகோவின் அருகே இருக்கும் யோர்தானுக்கு இப்பாலே மோவாபின் சமனான வெளிகளிலே அவர்களோடே பேசி:

And Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

கர்த்தர் மோசேக்கும் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கும் கட்டளையிட்டிருக்கிறபடியே, இருபது வயதுமுதற்கொண்டிருக்கிறவர்களை எண்ணுங்கள் என்றார்கள்.

Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.

ரூபன் இஸ்ரவேலின் மூத்த குமாரன்: ரூபனுடைய குமாரர், ஆனோக்கியர் குடும்பத்துக்குத் தகப்பனான ஆனோக்கும், பல்லூவியர் குடும்பத்துக்குத் தகப்பனான பல்லூவும்,

Reuben, the eldest son of Israel: the children of Reuben; Hanoch, of whom cometh the family of the Hanochites: of Pallu, the family of the Palluites:

எஸ்ரோனியர் குடும்பத்துக்குத் தகப்பனான எஸ்ரோனும், கர்மீயர் குடும்பத்துக்குத் தகப்பனான கர்மீயுமே.

Of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.

இவைகளே ரூபனியரின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் நாற்பத்து மூவாயிரத்து எழுநூற்று முப்பதுபேர்.

These are the families of the Reubenites: and they that were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.

பல்லூவின் குமாரன் எலியாப்.

And the sons of Pallu; Eliab.

எலியாபின் குமாரர் நேமுவேல், தாத்தான், அபிராம் என்பவர்கள்; இந்தத் தாத்தான் அபிராம் என்பவர்களே சபையில் பேர்பெற்றவர்களாயிருந்து, கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாகப் போராட்டம்பண்ணி, கோராகின் கூட்டாளிகளாகி, மோசேக்கும் ஆரோனுக்கும் விரோதமாக விவாதம்பண்ணினவர்கள்.

And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD:

பூமி தன் வாயைத் திறந்து, அவர்களையும் கோராகையும் விழுங்கினதினாலும், அக்கினி இருநூற்று ஐம்பதுபேரைப் பட்சித்ததினாலும், அந்தக் கூட்டத்தார் செத்து, ஒரு அடையாளமானார்கள்.

And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.

கோராகின் குமாரரோ சாகவில்லை.

Notwithstanding the children of Korah died not.

சிமியோனுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: நேமுவேலின் சந்ததியான நேமுவேலரின் குடும்பமும், யாமினியின் சந்ததியான, யாமினியரின் குடும்பமும், யாகீனின் சந்ததியான யாகீனியரின் குடும்பமும்,

The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites: of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites: of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites:

சேராகின் சந்ததியான சேராகியரின் குடும்பமும், சவுலின் சந்ததியான சவுலியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

Of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites: of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.

இவைகளே சிமியோனியரின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்கள் இருபத்தீராயிரத்து இருநூறுபேர்.

These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty and two thousand and two hundred.

காத்துடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: சிப்போனின் சந்ததியான சிப்போனியரின் குடும்பமும், ஆகியின் சந்ததியான ஆகியரின் குடும்பமும், சூனியின் சந்ததியான சூனியரின் குடும்பமும்,

The children of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites: of Haggi, the family of the Haggites: of Shuni, the family of the Shunites:

ஒஸ்னியின் சந்ததியான ஒஸ்னியரின் குடும்பமும், ஏரியின் சந்ததியான ஏரியரின் குடும்பமும்,

Of Ozni, the family of the Oznites: of Eri, the family of the Erites:

ஆரோதின் சந்ததியான ஆரோதியரின் குடும்பமும், அரேலியின் சந்ததியான அரேலியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

Of Arod, the family of the Arodites: of Areli, the family of the Arelites.

இவைகளே காத் புத்திரரின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் நாற்பதினாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேர்.

These are the families of the children of Gad according to those that were numbered of them, forty thousand and five hundred.

யூதாவின் குமாரர் ஏர், ஓனான் என்பவர்கள்; ஏரும், ஓனானும் கானான்தேசத்தில் செத்தார்கள்.

The sons of Judah were Er and Onan: and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.

யூதாவுடைய மற்றக் குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: சேலாவின் சந்ததியான சேலாவியரின் குடும்பமும், பாரேசின் சந்ததியான பாரேசியரின் குடும்பமும், சேராவின் சந்ததியான சேராவியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

And the sons of Judah after their families were; of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites: of Pharez, the family of the Pharzites: of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites.

பாரேசுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: எஸ்ரோனின் சந்ததியான எஸ்ரோனியரின் குடும்பமும், ஆமூலின் சந்ததியான ஆமூலியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

And the sons of Pharez were; of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.

இவைகளே யூதாவின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் எழுபத்தாறாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேர்.

These are the families of Judah according to those that were numbered of them, threescore and sixteen thousand and five hundred.

இசக்காருடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: தோலாவின் சந்ததியான தோலாவியரின் குடும்பமும், பூவாவின் சந்ததியான பூவாவியரின் குடும்பமும்,

Of the sons of Issachar after their families: of Tola, the family of the Tolaites: of Pua, the family of the Punites:

யாசூபின் சந்ததியான யாசூபியரின் குடும்பமும், சிம்ரோனின் சந்ததியான சிம்ரோனியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

Of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites: of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.

இவைகளே இசக்காரின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் அறுபத்து நாலாயிரத்து முந்நூறுபேர்.

These are the families of Issachar according to those that were numbered of them, threescore and four thousand and three hundred.

செபுலோனுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: சேரேத்தின் சந்ததியான சேரேத்தியரின் குடும்பமும், ஏலோனின் சந்ததியான ஏலோனியரின் குடும்பமும், யாலேயேலின் சந்ததியான யாலேயேலியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

Of the sons of Zebulun after their families: of Sered, the family of the Sardites: of Elon, the family of the Elonites: of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.

இவைகளே செபுலோனியரின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் அறுபதினாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேர்.

These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those that were numbered of them, threescore thousand and five hundred.

யோசேப்புடைய குமாரரான மனாசே எப்பிராயீம் என்பவர்களின் குடும்பங்களாவன:

The sons of Joseph after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.

மனாசேயினுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்கள்; மாகீரின் சந்ததியான மாகீரியரின் குடும்பமும், மாகீர் பெற்ற கிலெயாதின் சந்ததியான கிலெயாதியரின் குடும்பமும்,

Of the sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites: and Machir begat Gilead: of Gilead come the family of the Gileadites.

கிலெயாத் பெற்ற ஈயேசேரின் சந்ததியான ஈயேசேரியரின் குடும்பமும், ஏலேக்கின் சந்ததியான ஏலேக்கியரின் குடும்பமும்,

These are the sons of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites: of Helek, the family of the Helekites:

அஸ்ரியேலின் சந்ததியான அஸ்ரியேலரின் குடும்பமும், சேகேமின் சந்ததியான சேகேமியரின் குடும்பமும்,

And of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites: and of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites:

செமீதாவின் சந்ததியான செமீதாவியரின் குடும்பமும், எப்பேரின் சந்ததியான ஏப்பேரியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

And of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites: and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.

எப்பேரின் குமாரனான செலொப்பியாத்திற்குக் குமாரர் இல்லாமல், குமாரத்திகள் மாத்திரம் இருந்தார்கள்; இவர்கள் நாமங்கள் மக்லாள், நோவாள், ஒக்லாள், மில்காள், திர்சாள் என்பவைகள்.

And Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

இவைகளே மனாசேயின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் ஐம்பத்தீராயிரத்து எழுநூறுபேர்.

These are the families of Manasseh, and those that were numbered of them, fifty and two thousand and seven hundred.

எப்பிராயீமுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: சுத்தெலாகின் சந்ததியான சுத்தெலாகியரின் குடும்பமும், பெகேரின் சந்ததியான பெகேரியரின் குடும்பமும், தாகானின் சந்ததியான தாகானியரின் குடும்பமும்,

These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.

சுத்தெலாக் பெற்ற ஏரானின் சந்ததியான ஏரானியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.

இவைகளே எப்பீராயீம் புத்திரரின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் முப்பத்தீராயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேர்; இவர்களே யோசேப்பு புத்திரரின் குடும்பங்கள்.

These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.

பென்யமீனுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: பேலாவின் சந்ததியான பேலாவியரின் குடும்பமும், அஸ்பேலின் சந்ததியான அஸ்பேலியரின் குடும்பமும், அகிராமின் சந்ததியான அகிராமியரின் குடும்பமும்,

The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites:

சுப்பாமின் சந்ததியான சுப்பாமியரின் குடும்பமும், உப்பாமின் சந்ததியான உப்பாமியரின் குடும்பமும்,

Of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites: of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.

பேலா பெற்ற ஆரேதின் சந்ததியான ஆரேதியரின் குடும்பமும், நாகமானின் சந்ததியான நாகமானியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites: and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.

இவைகளே பென்யமீன் புத்திரரின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் நாற்பத்தையாயிரத்து அறுநூறுபேர்.

These are the sons of Benjamin after their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six hundred.

தாணுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: சூகாமின் சந்ததியான சூகாமியரின் குடும்பமே; இவைகள் தாணின் குடும்பம்.

These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.

சூகாமியரின் வம்சங்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லாரும் அறுபத்து நாலாயிரத்து நானூறுபேர்.

All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were threescore and four thousand and four hundred.

ஆசேருடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: இம்னாவின் சந்ததியான இம்னாவியரின் குடும்பமும், இஸ்வியின் சந்ததியான இஸ்வியரின் குடும்பமும், பெரீயாவின் சந்ததியான பெரீயாவியரின் குடும்பமும்,

Of the children of Asher after their families: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites: of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites: of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.

பெரீயா பெற்ற ஏபேரின் சந்ததியான ஏபேரியரின் குடும்பமும், மல்கியேலின் சந்ததியான மல்கியேலியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites: of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.

ஆசேருடைய குமாரத்தியின் பேர் சாராள்.

And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sarah.

இவைகளே ஆசேர் புத்திரரின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் ஐம்பத்து மூவாயிரத்து நானூறுபேர்.

These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them; who were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

நப்தலியினுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: யாத்சியேலின் சந்ததியான யாத்சியேலியரின் குடும்பமும், கூனியின் சந்ததியான கூனியரின் குடும்பமும்,

Of the sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites: of Guni, the family of the Gunites:

எத்செரின் சந்ததியான எத்செரியரின் குடும்பமும், சில்லேமின் சந்ததியான சில்லேமியரின் குடும்பமுமே.

Of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites: of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.

இவைகளே நப்தலியின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் நாற்பத்தையாயிரத்து நானூறுபேர்.

These are the families of Naphtali according to their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.

இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் ஆறுலட்சத்தோராயிரத்து எழுநூற்று முப்பது பேராயிருந்தார்கள்.

These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.

கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

இவர்களுடைய பேர்களின் இலக்கத்திற்குத் தக்கதாய் தேசம் இவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகப் பங்கிடப்படவேண்டும்.

Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.

அநேகம்பேருக்கு அதிக சுதந்தரமும் கொஞ்சம்பேருக்குக் கொஞ்ச சுதந்தரமும் கொடுப்பாயாக; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்ட இலக்கத்திற்குத் தக்கதாக அவரவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரம் கொடுக்கப்படவேண்டும்.

To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.

ஆனாலும் சீட்டுப்போட்டு, தேசத்தைப் பங்கிடவேண்டும்; தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய கோத்திரங்களுக்குரிய நாமங்களின்படியே சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளக்கடவர்கள்.

Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.

அநேகம்பேர்களாயினும் கொஞ்சம்பேர்களாயினும் சீட்டு விழுந்தபடியே அவரவர்களுடைய சுதந்தரங்கள் பங்கிடப்படவேண்டும் என்றார்.

According to the lot shall the possession thereof be divided between many and few.

எண்ணப்பட்ட லேவியரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: கெர்சோனின் சந்ததியான கெர்சோனியரின் குடும்பமும், கோகாத்தின் சந்ததியான கோகாத்தியரின் குடும்பமும், மெராரியின் சந்ததியான மெராரியரின் குடும்பமும்;

And these are they that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the family of the Merarites.

லேவியின் மற்றக் குடும்பங்களாகிய லிப்னீயரின் குடும்பமும், எப்ரோனியரின் குடும்பமும், மகலியரின் குடும்பமும், மூசியரின் குடும்பமும், கோராகியரின் குடும்பமுமே. கோகாத் அம்ராமைப் பெற்றான்.

These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begat Amram.

அம்ராமுடைய மனைவிக்கு யோகெபேத் என்று பேர்; அவள் எகிப்திலே லேவிக்குப் பிறந்த குமாரத்தி; அவள் அம்ராமுக்கு ஆரோனையும் மோசேயையும் அவர்கள் சகோதரியான மிரியாமையும் பெற்றாள்.

And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

ஆரோனுக்கு நாதாபும் அபியூவும் எலெயாசாரும் இத்தாமாரும் பிறந்தார்கள்.

And unto Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

நாதாபும் அபியூவும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அந்நிய அக்கினியைக் கொண்டுவந்தபோது, செத்துப்போனார்கள்.

And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.

அவர்களில் ஒரு மாதத்து ஆண்பிள்ளை முதலாக எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் இருபத்து மூவாயிரம்பேர்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நடுவே அவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரம் கொடுக்கப்படாதபடியினால், அவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் இலக்கத்திற்கு உட்படவில்லை.

And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.

மோசேயும் ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாரும் எரிகோவின் அருகேயிருக்கும் யோர்தானுக்கு இப்பாலே மோவாபின் சமனான வெளிகளில் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை எண்ணுகிறபோது இருந்தவர்கள் இவர்களே.

These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

முன்பு மோசேயும் ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனும் சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்தில் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை எண்ணும்போது இருந்தவர்களில் ஒருவரும் இவர்களுக்குள் இல்லை.

But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.

வனாந்தரத்தில் சாகவே சாவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் அவர்களைக் குறித்துச்சொல்லியிருந்தார்; எப்புன்னேயின் குமாரனாகிய காலேபும் நூனின் குமாரனாகிய யோசுவாவும் தவிர, வேறொருவரும் அவர்களில் மீதியாயிருக்கவில்லை.

For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

எண்ணாகமம் அத்தியாயம் 27

யோசேப்பின் குமாரனாகிய மனாசேயின் குடும்பங்களில், மனாசேயின் குமாரனாகிய மாகீரின் மகனான கிலெயாத்துக்குப் பிறந்த ஏபேருக்குப் புத்திரனாயிருந்த செலோப்பியாத்தின் குமாரத்திகளாகிய மக்லாள், நோவாள், ஒக்லாள், மில்காள், திர்சாள் என்பவர்கள் வந்து,

Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.

ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரவாசலிலே மோசேக்கும், ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாருக்கும், பிரபுக்களுக்கும், சபையனைத்திற்கும் முன்பாக நின்று:

And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

எங்கள் தகப்பன் வனாந்தரத்தில் மரணமடைந்தார்; அவர் கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாகக் கூடின கோராகின் கூட்டத்தாரில் சேர்ந்தவர் அல்ல, தம்முடைய பாவத்தினாலே மரித்தார்; அவருக்குக் குமாரர் இல்லை.

Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.

எங்கள் தகப்பனுக்குக் குமாரன் இல்லாததினாலே, அவருடைய பேர் அவருடைய வம்சத்தில் இல்லாமல் அற்றுப்போகலாமா? எங்கள் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரருக்குள்ளே எங்களுக்குக் காணியாட்சி கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்.

Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.

மோசே அவர்களுடைய நியாயத்தைக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டு போனான்.

And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

செலோபியாத்தின் குமாரத்திகள் சொல்லுகிறது சரிதான்; அவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரருக்குள்ளே சுதந்தரம் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; அவர்கள் தகப்பன் பின்வைத்த சுதந்தரத்தை அவர்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும்படி செய்வாயாக.

The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.

மேலும் நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை நோக்கி: ஒருவன் குமாரன் இல்லாமல் மரித்தால், அவனுக்குரிய சுதந்தரத்தை அவன் குமாரத்திக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.

And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.

அவனுக்குக் குமாரத்தியும் இல்லாதிருந்தால், அவனுக்குரிய சுதந்தரத்தை அவன் சகோதரருக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.

And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.

அவனுக்குச் சகோதரரும் இல்லாதிருந்தால், அவனுக்குரிய சுதந்தரத்தை அவன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரருக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.

And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father's brethren.

அவன் தகப்பனுக்குச் சகோதரர் இல்லாதிருந்தால், அவனுக்குரிய சுதந்தரத்தை அவன் வம்சத்திலே அவனுக்குக் கிட்டின உறவின் முறையானுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுக்க வேண்டும்; இது, கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு நியாயவிதிப்பிரமாணமாய் இருக்கக்கடவது என்று சொல் என்றார்.

And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.

பின்பு கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ இந்த அபாரீம் மலையில் ஏறி, நான் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தைப் பார்.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel.

நீ அதைப் பார்த்தபின்பு, உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் சேர்க்கப்பட்டது போல, நீயும் உன் ஜனத்தாரிடத்தில் சேர்க்கப்படுவாய்;

And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered.

சபையார் வாக்குவாதம்பண்ணின சீன் வனாந்தரத்தில் தண்ணீருக்கடுத்த விஷயத்தில் அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக என்னைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணவேண்டிய நீங்கள் என் கட்டளையை மீறினீர்களே என்றார். இது சீன் வனாந்தரத்தில் காதேஸ் ஊர் அருகே உண்டான மேரிபாவின் தண்ணீருக்கடுத்த காரியமே.

For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.

அப்பொழுது மோசே கர்த்தரை நோக்கி:

And Moses spake unto the LORD, saying,

கர்த்தருடைய சபை மேய்ப்பன் இல்லாத மந்தையைப்போல் இராதபடிக்கு,

Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,

அந்தச் சபைக்கு முன்பாகப் போக்கும் வரத்துமாய் இருக்கும்படிக்கும், அவர்களைப் போகவும் வரவும் பண்ணும்படிக்கும், மாம்சமான யாவருடைய ஆவிகளுக்கும் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஒரு புருஷனை அவர்கள்மேல் அதிகாரியாக ஏற்படுத்தவேண்டும் என்றான்.

Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.

கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: ஆவியைப் பெற்றிருக்கிற புருஷனாகிய யோசுவா என்னும் நூனின் குமாரனை நீ தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அவன்மேல் உன் கையை வைத்து,

And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;

அவனை ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாருக்கும் சபையனைத்திற்கும் முன்பாக நிறுத்தி, அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவனுக்குக் கட்டளைகொடுத்து,

And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.

இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரராகிய சபையார் எல்லாரும் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்படிக்கு, உன் கனத்தில் கொஞ்சம் அவனுக்குக் கொடு.

And thou shalt put some of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.

அவன் ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாருக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கக்கடவன்; அவனிமித்தம் அந்த ஆசாரியன் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் வந்து, ஊரீம் என்னும் நியாயத்தினாலே ஆலோசனை கேட்கக்கடவன்; அவருடைய கட்டளையின்படியே, அவனும் அவனோடேகூட இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரராகிய சபையார் எல்லாரும் போகவும் அவருடைய கட்டளையின்படியே வரவும் வேண்டியது என்றார்.

And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.

மோசே தனக்குக் கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே யோசுவாவை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அவனை ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாருக்கும் சபையனைத்திற்கும் முன்பாக நிறுத்தி,

And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:

அவன்மேல் தன் கைகளை வைத்து, கர்த்தர் தனக்குச் சொன்னபடியே அவனுக்குக் கட்டளைகொடுத்தான்.

And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

யோவான் அத்தியாயம் 5

இவைகளுக்குப்பின்பு யூதருடைய பண்டிகை ஒன்று வந்தது; அப்பொழுது இயேசு எருசலேமுக்குப் போனார்.

After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

எபிரெய பாஷையிலே பெதஸ்தா என்னப்பட்ட ஒரு குளம் எருசலேமில் ஆட்டு வாசலினருகே இருக்கிறது, அதற்கு ஐந்து மண்டபங்களுண்டு.

Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.

அவைகளிலே குருடர், சப்பாணிகள், சூம்பின உறுப்புடையவர்கள் முதலான வியாதிக்காரர் அநேகர் படுத்திருந்து, தண்ணீர் எப்பொழுது கலங்கும் என்று காத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்.

In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

ஏனெனில் சில சமயங்களிலே தேவதூதன் ஒருவன் அந்தக் குளத்தில் இறங்கி, தண்ணீரைக் கலக்குவான்; தண்ணீர் கலங்கினபின்பு யார் முந்தி அதில் இறங்குவானோ அவன் எப்பேர்ப்பட்ட வியாதிஸ்தனாயிருந்தாலும் சொஸ்தமாவான்.

For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

முப்பத்தெட்டு வருஷம் வியாதிகொண்டிருந்த ஒரு மனுஷன் அங்கே இருந்தான்.

And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

படுத்திருந்த அவனை இயேசு கண்டு, அவன் வெகுகாலமாய் வியாதிஸ்தனென்று அறிந்து, அவனை நோக்கி: சொஸ்தமாகவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறாயா என்று கேட்டார்.

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

அதற்கு வியாதிஸ்தன்: ஆண்டவரே, தண்ணீர் கலக்கப்படும்போது என்னைக் குளத்தில் கொண்டுபோய்விடுகிறதற்கு ஒருவருமில்லை, நான் போகிறதற்குள்ளே வேறொருவன் எனக்கு முந்தி இறங்கிவிடுகிறான் என்றான்.

The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

இயேசு அவனை நோக்கி: எழுந்திரு, உன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு நட என்றார்.

Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

உடனே அந்த மனுஷன் சொஸ்தமாகி, தன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, நடந்துபோனான். அந்த நாள் ஓய்வுநாளாயிருந்தது.

And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

ஆதலால் யூதர்கள் குணமாக்கப்பட்டவனை நோக்கி: இது ஓய்வுநாளாயிருக்கிறதே, படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோகிறது உனக்கு நியாயமல்ல என்றார்கள்.

The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.

அவன் அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: என்னைச் சொஸ்தமாக்கினவர், உன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு நடவென்று எனக்குச் சொன்னார் என்றான்.

He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.

அதற்கு அவர்கள்: உன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு நடவென்று உன்னுடனே சொன்ன மனுஷன் யார் என்று அவனிடத்தில் கேட்டார்கள்.

Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?

சொஸ்தமாக்கப்பட்டவன் அவர் இன்னாரென்று அறியவில்லை; அவ்விடத்தில் ஜனங்கள் கூட்டமாயிருந்தபடியினால் இயேசு விலகியிருந்தார்.

And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.

அதற்குப்பின்பு இயேசு அவனை தேவாலயத்திலே கண்டு: இதோ, நீ சொஸ்தமானாய், அதிக கேடானதொன்றும் உனக்கு வராதபடி இனிப் பாவஞ்செய்யாதே என்றார்.

Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

அந்த மனுஷன் போய், தன்னைச் சொஸ்தமாக்கினவர் இயேசு என்று யூதர்களுக்கு அறிவித்தான்.

The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.

இயேசு இவைகளை ஓய்வுநாளில் செய்தபடியால், யூதர்கள் அவரைத் துன்பப்படுத்தி, அவரைக் கொலைசெய்ய வகைதேடினார்கள்.

And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: என் பிதா இதுவரைக்கும் கிரியைசெய்து வருகிறார், நானும் கிரியை செய்து வருகிறேன் என்றார்.

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

அவர் ஓய்வுநாள் கட்டளையை மீறினதுமல்லாமல், தேவனைத் தம்முடைய சொந்தப் பிதா என்றுஞ் சொல்லித் தம்மை தேவனுக்குச் சமமாக்கினபடியினாலே, யூதர்கள் அவரைக் கொலைசெய்யும்படி அதிகமாய் வகைதேடினார்கள்.

Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

அப்பொழுது இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்: பிதாவானவர் செய்யக் குமாரன் காண்கிறதெதுவோ, அதையேயன்றி, வேறொன்றையும் தாமாய்ச் செய்யமாட்டார்; அவர் எவைகளைச் செய்கிறாரோ, அவைகளைக் குமாரனும் அந்தப்படியே செய்கிறார்.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

பிதாவானவர் குமாரனிடத்தில் அன்பாயிருந்து, தாம் செய்கிறவைகளையெல்லாம் அவருக்குக் காண்பிக்கிறார்; நீங்கள் ஆச்சரியப்படத்தக்கதாக இவைகளைப் பார்க்கிலும் பெரிதான கிரியைகளையும் அவருக்குக் காண்பிப்பார்.

For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

பிதாவானவர் மரித்தோரை எழுப்பி உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறதுபோல, குமாரனும் தமக்குச் சித்தமானவர்களை உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறார்.

For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

அன்றியும் பிதாவைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறதுபோல எல்லாரும் குமாரனையும் கனம்பண்ணும்படிக்கு, பிதாவானவர் தாமே ஒருவருக்கும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யாமல், நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யும் அதிகாரம் முழுவதையும் குமாரனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்.

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

குமாரனைக் கனம்பண்ணாதவன் அவரை அனுப்பின பிதாவையும் கனம் பண்ணாதவனாயிருக்கிறான்.

That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

என் வசனத்தைக் கேட்டு, என்னை அனுப்பினவரை விசுவாசிக்கிறவனுக்கு நித்தியஜீவன் உண்டு; அவன் ஆக்கினைத் தீர்ப்புக்குட்படாமல், மரணத்தைவிட்டு நீங்கி, ஜீவனுக்குட்பட்டிருக்கிறான் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

மரித்தோர் தேவகுமாரனுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்குங்காலம் வரும், அது இப்பொழுதே வந்திருக்கிறது; அதைக் கேட்கிறவர்கள் பிழைப்பார்கள் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

ஏனெனில் பிதாவானவர் தம்மில் தாமே ஜீவனுடையவராயிருக்கிறதுபோல, குமாரனும் தம்மில்தாமே ஜீவனுடையவராயிருக்கும்படி அருள்செய்திருக்கிறார்.

For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

அவர் மனுஷகுமாரனாயிருக்கிறபடியால், நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யும்படிக்கு அதிகாரத்தையும் அவருக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்.

And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

இதைக்குறித்து நீங்கள் ஆச்சரியப்படவேண்டாம்; ஏனென்றால் பிரேதக்குழிகளிலுள்ள அனைவரும் அவருடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்குங்காலம் வரும்;

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

அப்பொழுது, நன்மைசெய்தவர்கள் ஜீவனை அடையும்படி எழுந்திருக்கிறவர்களாகவும், தீமைசெய்தவர்கள் ஆக்கினையை அடையும்படி எழுந்திருக்கிறவர்களாகவும் புறப்படுவார்கள்.

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

நான் என் சுயமாய் ஒன்றுஞ்செய்கிறதில்லை; நான் கேட்கிறபடியே நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறேன்; எனக்குச் சித்தமானதை நான் தேடாமல், என்னை அனுப்பின பிதாவுக்குச் சித்தமானதையே நான் தேடுகிறபடியால் என் தீர்ப்பு நீதியாயிருக்கிறது.

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

என்னைக்குறித்து நானே சாட்சிகொடுத்தால் என் சாட்சி மெய்யாயிராது.

If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

என்னைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சிகொடுக்கிறவர் வேறொருவர் இருக்கிறார், அவர் என்னைக்குறித்துக் கொடுக்கிற சாட்சி மெய்யான சாட்சியென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.

There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

நீங்கள் யோவானிடத்தில் ஆளனுப்பி விசாரித்தீர்கள், அவன் சத்தியத்திற்கு சாட்சிகொடுத்தான்.

Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.

நான் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிற சாட்சி மனுஷருடைய சாட்சியல்ல, நீங்கள் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவதற்காகவே இவைகளைச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.

அவன் எரிந்து பிரகாசிக்கிற விளக்காயிருந்தான்; நீங்களும் சிலகாலம் அவன் வெளிச்சத்திலே களிகூர மனதாயிருந்தீர்கள்.

He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

யோவானுடைய சாட்சியைப்பார்க்கிலும் மேன்மையான சாட்சி எனக்கு உண்டு; அதென்னவெனில், நான் நிறைவேற்றும்படிக்குப் பிதாவானவர் எனக்குக் கற்பித்ததும் நான் செய்துவருகிறதுமான கிரியைகளே பிதா என்னை அனுப்பினார் என்று என்னைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சி கொடுக்கிறது.

But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

என்னை அனுப்பின பிதா தாமே என்னைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சிகொடுத்திருக்கிறார்; நீங்கள் ஒருக்காலும் அவர் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டதுமில்லை, அவர் ரூபத்தைக் கண்டதுமில்லை.

And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

அவர் அனுப்பினவரை நீங்கள் விசுவாசியாதபடியால் அவருடைய வசனம் உங்களில் தரித்திருக்கிறதுமில்லை.

And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

வேதவாக்கியங்களை ஆராய்ந்து பாருங்கள்; அவைகளால் உங்களுக்கு நித்தியஜீவன் உண்டென்று எண்ணுகிறீர்களே, என்னைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சிகொடுக்கிறவைகளும் அவைகளே.

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

அப்படியிருந்தும் உங்களுக்கு ஜீவன் உண்டாகும்படி என்னிடத்தில் வர உங்களுக்கு மனதில்லை.

And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

நான் மனுஷரால் மகிமையை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறதில்லை.

I receive not honour from men.

உங்களில் தேவ அன்பு இல்லையென்று உங்களை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.

But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.

நான் என் பிதாவின் நாமத்தினாலே வந்திருந்தும் நீங்கள் என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை, வேறொருவன் தன் சுயநாமத்தினாலே வந்தால் அவனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுவீர்கள்.

I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

தேவனாலேமாத்திரம் வருகிற மகிமையைத் தேடாமல், ஒருவராலொருவர் மகிமையை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிற நீங்கள் எப்படி விசுவாசிப்பீர்கள்?

How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

பிதாவினிடத்தில் நான் உங்கள்மேல் குற்றஞ்சாட்டுவேன் என்று நினையாதிருங்கள்; நீங்கள் நம்புகிற மோசேயே உங்கள்மேல் குற்றஞ்சாட்டுவான்.

Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

நீங்கள் மோசேயை விசுவாசித்தீர்களானால், என்னையும் விசுவாசிப்பீர்கள்; அவன் என்னைக்குறித்து எழுதியிருக்கிறானே.

For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

அவன் எழுதின வாக்கியங்களை நீங்கள் விசுவாசியாமலிருந்தால் நான் சொல்லுகிற வசனங்களை எப்படி விசுவாசிப்பீர்கள் என்றார்.

But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
