எசேக்கியேல் அத்தியாயம் 12

கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ கலகவீட்டாரின் நடுவிலே தங்கியிருக்கிறாய்; காணும்படிக்கு அவர்களுக்குக் கண்கள் இருந்தாலும் காணாமற்போகிறார்கள்; கேட்கும்படிக்கு அவர்களுக்குக் காதுகள் இருந்தாலும் கேளாமற்போகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் கலகவீட்டார்.

Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

இப்போதும் மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ பரதேசம் போகும்படி பிரயாண சமான்களை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி, பகற்காலத்திலே அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பிரயாணப்படு; உன் ஸ்தலத்தைவிட்டு வேறே ஸ்தலத்துக்கு அவர்களுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் புறப்பட்டுப்போ; அவர்கள் கலகவீட்டாரானபோதிலும் ஒருவேளை சிந்தித்து உணருவார்கள்.

Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.

சிறையிருப்புக்குப் போகிறவனைப்போல் உன் சாமான்களை நீ பகற்காலத்திலே அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக வெளியே வைத்து, நீ சாயங்காலத்திலே அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகச் சிறையிருப்புக்குப் போகிறவனைப்போல் புறப்படுவாயாக.

Then shalt thou bring forth thy stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: and thou shalt go forth at even in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity.

அவர்களுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக நீ சுவரிலே துவாரமிட்டு, அதின் வழியாய் அவைகளை வெளியே கொண்டுபோவாயாக.

Dig thou through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.

அவர்களுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவைகளை உன் தோளின்மேல் எடுத்து, மாலைமயங்கும் வேளையிலே வெளியே கொண்டுபோவாயாக; நீ தேசத்தைப் பாராதபடி உன் முகத்தை மூடிக்கொள்; இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாருக்கு உன்னை அடையாளமாக்கினேன் என்றார்.

In their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see not the ground: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel.

எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே நான் செய்தேன்; சிறைப்பட்டுப்போகும்போது சாமான்களைக் கொண்டுபோவதுபோல என் சாமான்களைப் பகற்காலத்தில் வெளியே வைத்தேன்; சாயங்காலத்திலோ கையினால் சுவரிலே துவாரமிட்டு, மாலைமயங்கும் வேளையிலே அவைகளை வெளியே கொண்டுபோய், அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவைகளைத் தோளின்மேல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோனேன்.

And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.

விடியற்காலத்திலே கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

And in the morning came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, கலகவீட்டாராகிய இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் உன்னைப் பார்த்து: நீ செய்கிறது என்னவென்று உன்னைக் கேட்டார்கள் அல்லவா?

Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?

இது எருசலேமில் இருக்கிற அதிபதியின்மேலும் அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கிற இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் அனைவரின்மேலும் சுமரும் பாரம் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று அவர்களிடத்தில் சொல்லு.

Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.

நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: நான் உங்களுக்கு அடையாளமாயிருக்கிறேன்; நான் செய்வது எப்படியோ, அப்படியே அவர்களுக்கும் செய்யப்படும்; சிறைப்பட்டுப் பரதேசம் போவார்கள்.

Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove and go into captivity.

அவர்கள் நடுவில் இருக்கிற அதிபதி மாலைமயங்கும்போது தோளின்மேல் சுமைசுமந்து புறப்படுவான்; வெளியே சுமைகொண்டுபோகச் சுவரிலே துவாரமிடுவார்கள்; கண்ணினாலே அவன் தன் தேசத்தைக் காணாதபடி தன் முகத்தை மூடிக்கொள்வான்.

And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes.

நான் என் வலையை அவன்மேல் வீசுவேன், அவன் என் கண்ணியிலே பிடிபடுவான்; அவனைக் கல்தேயர் தேசமாகிய பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டுபோவேன்; அங்கே அவன் சாவான்; ஆகிலும் அதைக் காணமாட்டான்.

My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.

அவனுக்கு உதவியாக அவனைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற யாவரையும் அவனுடைய எல்லா இராணுவங்களையும் நான் சகல திசைகளிலும் தூற்றி, அவர்கள் பின்னே பட்டயத்தை உருவுவேன்.

And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them.

அப்படி நான் அவர்களை ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே தூற்றி, அவர்களை தேசங்களிலே சிதறடிக்கும்போது, நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.

ஆனாலும் தாங்கள் போய்ச்சேரும் ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே தங்கள் அருவருப்புகளையெல்லாம் விவரிக்கும்படி, நான் அவர்களில் கொஞ்சம்பேரைப் பஞ்சத்துக்கும் பட்டயத்துக்கும் கொள்ளைநோய்க்கும் தப்பி மீந்திருக்கப்பண்ணுவேன்; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ உன் அப்பத்தை நடுக்கத்தோடே புசித்து, உன் தண்ணீரைத் தத்தளிப்போடும் விசாரத்தோடும் குடித்து,

Son of man, eat thy bread with quaking, and drink thy water with trembling and with carefulness;

தேசத்திலுள்ள ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்திலுள்ள எருசலேமின் குடிகளைக் குறித்துக் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், தங்கள் அப்பத்தை விசாரத்தோடே புசித்து, தங்கள் தண்ணீரைத் திகிலோடே குடிப்பார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய தேசத்துக் குடிகளுடைய கொடுமைகளினிமித்தம் அதிலுள்ளதெல்லாம் அழிய, அது பாழாகும்.

And say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.

குடியேறியிருக்கிற பட்டணங்கள் வனாந்தரங்களாகி, தேசம் பாழாய்ப்போகும்; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, நாட்கள் நீடிக்கும், தரிசனம் எல்லாம் அவமாகும் என்று இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்திலே வழங்கும் பழமொழி என்ன?

Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth?

ஆகையால் நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், அவர்கள் இனி இஸ்ரவேலிலே இந்தப் பழமொழியைச் சொல்லி வராதபடிக்கு நான் அதை ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; நாட்களும் எல்லாத் தரிசனத்தின் பொருளும் சமீபித்து வந்தன என்று அவர்களோடே சொல்லு.

Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.

இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரின் நடுவில் இனிச்சகல கள்ளத்தரிசனமும் முகஸ்துதியான குறிசொல்லுதலும் இராமற்போகும்.

For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.

நான் கர்த்தர், நான் சொல்லுவேன், நான் சொல்லும் வார்த்தை நிறைவேறும்; இனித் தாமதியாது; கலகவீட்டாரே, உங்கள் நாட்களிலே நான் வார்த்தையைச் சொல்லுவேன், அதை நிறைவேறவும் பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.

பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, இதோ, இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார்: இவன் காண்கிற தரிசனம் நிறைவேற அநேகநாள் செல்லும்; தூரமாயிருக்கிற காலங்களைக்குறித்து இவன் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிறான் என்கிறார்கள்.

Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off.

ஆகையால் என் வார்த்தைகளில் ஒன்றாகிலும் இனித் தாமதிப்பதில்லையென்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார்; நான் சொன்ன வார்த்தை நிறைவேறும் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று அவர்களோடே சொல் என்றார்.

Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.

எசேக்கியேல் அத்தியாயம் 13

கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற இஸ்ரவேலின் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்கு விரோதமாக நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து, தங்கள் இருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறதையே எடுத்துத் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ் சொல்லுகிறவர்களோடே நீ சொல்ல வேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்.

Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறதாவது: தாங்கள் ஒன்றும் தரிசியாதிருந்தும், தங்களுடைய ஆவியின் ஏவுதலைப்பின்பற்றுகிற மதிகெட்ட தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்கு ஐயோ!

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

இஸ்ரவேலே, உன் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் வனாந்தரங்களிலுள்ள நரிகளுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறார்கள்.

O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.

நீங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய நாளிலே யுத்தத்தில் நிலைநிற்கும்படிக்கு, திறப்புகளில் ஏறினதுமில்லை; இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாருக்காகச் சுவரை அடைத்ததுமில்லை.

Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.

கர்த்தர் தங்களை அனுப்பாதிருந்தும், கர்த்தர் உரைத்தாரென்று சொல்லி, அவர்கள் அபத்தத்தையும் பொய்க்குறியையும் தரிசித்து, காரியத்தை நிர்வாகம்பண்ணலாமென்று நம்பிக்கையாயிருக்கிறார்கள்.

They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

நான் உரைக்காதிருந்தும், நீங்கள் கர்த்தர் உரைத்தார் என்று சொல்லும்போது, அபத்தமான தரிசனையைத் தரிசித்து, பொய்க்குறியைச் சொல்லுகிறீர்கள் அல்லவா?

Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?

ஆகையால் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால்: நீங்கள் அபத்தமானதைச் சொல்லி, பொய்யானதைத் தரிசிக்கிறபடியினால், இதோ, நான் உங்களுக்கு விரோதமானவர் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.

அபத்தமானதைத் தரிசித்து, பொய்க்குறியைச் சொல்லுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்கு என் கை விரோதமாயிருக்கும்; அவர்கள் என் ஜனத்தின் சங்கத்தில் இருப்பதுமில்லை; இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரின் அட்டவணையில் எழுதப்படுவதுமில்லை; இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்துக்குள் பிரவேசிப்பதுமில்லை; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரென்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.

And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

சமாதானம் இல்லாதிருந்தும் சமாதானமென்று சொல்லி, அவர்கள் என் ஜனத்தை மோசம் போக்குகிறார்கள்; ஒருவன் மண்சுவரை வைக்கிறான்; இதோ, மற்றவர்கள் சாரமில்லாத சாந்தை அதற்குப் பூசுகிறார்கள்.

Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:

சாரமில்லாத சாந்தைப் பூசுகிறவர்களை நோக்கி: அது இடிந்து விழுமென்று சொல்; வெள்ளமாகப் பெருகுகிற மழை பெய்யும்; மகா கல்மழையே, நீ சொரிவாய்; கொடிய புசல்காற்றும் அதைப் பிளக்கும்.

Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

இதோ, சுவர் விழும்போது: நீங்கள் பூசின பூச்சு எங்கே என்று சொல்வார்கள் அல்லவா?

Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?

ஆகையால் என் உக்கிரத்திலே கொடிய புசல்காற்றை எழும்பி அடிக்கப்பண்ணுவேன்; என் கோபத்திலே வெள்ளமாக அடிக்கிற மழையும், என் உக்கிரத்திலே நிர்மூலமாக்கத்தக்க பெருங்கல்மழையும், சொரியும் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.

அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் சாரமில்லாத சாந்தைப் பூசின சுவரை நான் இடித்து, அதின் அஸ்திபாரம் திறந்து கிடக்கும்படி அதைத் தரையிலே விழப்பண்ணுவேன்; உள்ளே இருக்கிற நீங்கள் நிர்மூலமாகும்படி அது விழும்; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.

So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

இப்படிச் சுவரிலும், அதற்குச் சாரமில்லாத சாந்தைப் பூசினவர்களிலும் நான் என் உக்கிரத்தைத் தீர்த்துக்கொண்டு: சுவருமில்லை, அதற்குச் சாந்துபூசினவர்களுமில்லை.

Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;

எருசலேமைக்குறித்துத் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ்சொல்லி, சமாதானம் இல்லாதிருந்தும் சமாதானம் உண்டென்று தரிசனங்காண்கிற இஸ்ரவேலின் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் இல்லாமற்போவார்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார்.

To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

மனுபுத்திரனே, தங்களுடைய இருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறதையே எடுத்து, தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ்சொல்லுகிற உன் ஜனத்தின் குமாரத்திகளுக்கு எதிராக உன் முகத்தைத் திருப்பி, அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து, சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்:

Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

ஆத்துமாக்களை வேட்டையாடும்படிக்குச் சகல கைகளுக்கும் தழுவணைகளைத் தைத்து, அந்தந்த வயதுள்ளவர்களுடைய தலைக்கும் தலையணைகளை உண்டுபண்ணுகிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ! நீங்கள் என் ஜனத்தின் ஆத்துமாக்களை வேட்டையாடி, அவைகளை உங்களுக்கு உயிரோடே காப்பாற்றுவீர்களோ?

And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?

சாகத்தகாத ஆத்துமாக்களைக் கொல்வதற்கும், உயிரோடே இருக்கத்தகாத ஆத்துமாக்களை உயிரோடே காப்பாற்றுவதற்குமாக நீங்கள் பொய்க்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிற என் ஜனத்துக்குப் பொய் சொல்லுகிறதினாலே சில சிறங்கை வாற்கோதுமைக்காகவும் அப்பத்துண்டுகளுக்காகவும் என்னை என் ஜனத்துக்குள்ளே பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்குவீர்களோ என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார்.

And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

ஆகையால் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, நீங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களைப் பறக்கடிக்கும்படி வேட்டையாடுகிற உங்கள் தழுவணைகளுக்கு விரோதமாக நான் வந்து, அவைகளை உங்கள் புயங்களிலிருந்து பிடுங்கிக்கிழித்து, நீங்கள் பறக்கடிக்க வேட்டையாடுகிற ஆத்துமாக்களை நான் விடுதலைபண்ணி,

Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

உங்கள் தலையணைகளைக் கிழித்து, என் ஜனத்தை உங்கள் கைகளுக்கு நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுவேன்; அவர்கள் இனி வேட்டையாடப்படும்படி உங்கள் கைகளில் இரார்கள்; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.

Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

நான் சஞ்சலப்படுத்தாத நீதிமானின் இருதயத்தை நீங்கள் வீணாய் முறியப்பண்ணினபடியினாலும், துன்மார்க்கன் தன் பொல்லாத வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பவும் நான் அவனை உயிரோடே காக்கவுங்கூடாதபடிக்கு நீங்கள் அவனுடைய கைகளைத் திடப்படுத்தினபடியினாலும்,

Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

நீங்கள் இனி அபத்தமானதைத் தரிசிப்பதுமில்லை, சாஸ்திரம் பார்ப்பதுமில்லை; நான் என் ஜனத்தை உங்கள் கைகளுக்கு நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுவேன்; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

புத்தியில்லாத கலாத்தியரே, நீங்கள் சத்தியத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமற்போகத்தக்கதாக உங்களை மயக்கினவன் யார்? இயேசுகிறிஸ்து சிலுவையிலறையப்பட்டவராக உங்கள் கண்களுக்குமுன் பிரத்தியட்சமாய் உங்களுக்குள்ளே வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருந்தாரே.

O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

ஒன்றைமாத்திரம் உங்களிடத்தில் அறிய விரும்புகிறேன்; நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைகளினாலேயோ, விசுவாசக் கேள்வியினாலேயோ, எதினாலே ஆவியைப் பெற்றீர்கள்?

This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

ஆவியினாலே ஆரம்பம்பண்ணின நீங்கள் இப்பொழுது மாம்சத்தினாலே முடிவு பெறப்போகிறீர்களோ? நீங்கள் இத்தனை புத்தியீனரா?

Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

இத்தனை பாடுகளையும் வீணாய்ப்பட்டீர்களோ? அவைகள் வீணாய்ப்போயிற்றே.

Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

அன்றியும் உங்களுக்கு ஆவியை அளித்து, உங்களுக்குள்ளே அற்புதங்களை நடப்பிக்கிறவர் அதை நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைகளினாலேயோ, விசுவாசக் கேள்வியினாலேயோ, எதினாலே செய்கிறார்?

He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

அப்படியே ஆபிரகாம் தேவனை விசுவாசித்தான், அது அவனுக்கு நீதியாக எண்ணப்பட்டது.

Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

ஆகையால் விசுவாசமார்க்கத்தார்கள் எவர்களோ அவர்களே ஆபிரகாமின் பிள்ளைகளென்று அறிவீர்களாக.

Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

மேலும் தேவன் விசுவாசத்தினாலே புறஜாதிகளை நீதிமான்களாக்குகிறாரென்று வேதம் முன்னாகக் கண்டு: உனக்குள் சகல ஜாதிகளும் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும் என்று ஆபிரகாமுக்குச் சுவிசேஷமாய் முன்னறிவித்தது.

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

அந்தப்படி விசுவாசமார்க்கத்தார் விசுவாசமுள்ள ஆபிரகாமுடனே ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.

So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைக்காரராகிய யாவரும் சாபத்திற்குட்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்; நியாயப்பிரமாண புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டவைகளையெல்லாம் செய்யத்தக்கதாக அவைகளில் நிலைத்திராதவன் எவனோ அவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறதே.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினாலே ஒருவனும் தேவனிடத்தில் நீதிமானாகிறதில்லையென்பது வெளியரங்கமாயிருக்கிறது. ஏனெனில் விசுவாசத்தினாலே நீதிமான் பிழைப்பான் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறதே.

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

நியாயப்பிரமாணமோ விசுவாசத்திற்குரியதல்ல; அவைகளைச் செய்கிற மனுஷனே அவைகளால் பிழைப்பான்.

And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

மரத்திலே தூக்கப்பட்ட எவனும் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, கிறிஸ்து நமக்காகச் சாபமாகி, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் சாபத்திற்கு நம்மை நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

ஆபிரகாமுக்கு உண்டான ஆசீர்வாதம் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினால் புறஜாதிகளுக்கு வரும்படியாகவும், ஆவியைக்குறித்துச் சொல்லப்பட்ட வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை நாம் விசுவாசத்தினாலே பெறும்படியாகவும் இப்படியாயிற்று.

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

சகோதரரே, மனுஷர் முறைமையின்படி சொல்லுகிறேன்; மனுஷர்களுக்குள்ளே உறுதிபண்ணப்பட்ட உடன்படிக்கையை ஒருவனும் தள்ளுகிறதுமில்லை, அதினோடே ஒன்றையும் கூட்டுகிறதுமில்லை.

Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.

ஆபிரகாமுக்கும் அவனுடைய சந்ததிக்கும் வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள்பண்ணப்பட்டன; சந்ததிகளுக்கு என்று அநேகரைக்குறித்துச் சொல்லாமல், உன் சந்ததிக்கு என்று ஒருவனைக்குறித்துச் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார், அந்தச் சந்ததி கிறிஸ்துவே.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

ஆதலால் நான் சொல்லுகிறதென்னவெனில், கிறிஸ்துவை முன்னிட்டு தேவனால் முன் உறுதிபண்ணப்பட்ட உடன்படிக்கையை நானூற்றுமுப்பது வருஷத்திற்குப்பின்பு உண்டான நியாயப்பிரமாணமானது தள்ளி, வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை வியர்த்தமாக்கமாட்டாது.

And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

அன்றியும், சுதந்தரமானது நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினாலே உண்டானால் அது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தினாலே உண்டாயிராது; தேவன் அதை ஆபிரகாமுக்கு வாக்குத்தத்தத்தினாலே அருளிச்செய்தாரே.

For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

அப்படியானால், நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் நோக்கமென்ன? வாக்குத்தத்தத்தைப்பெற்ற சந்ததி வருமளவும் அது அக்கிரமங்களினிமித்தமாகக் கூட்டப்பட்டு, தேவதூதரைக்கொண்டு மத்தியஸ்தன் கையிலே கட்டளையிடப்பட்டது.

Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

மத்தியஸ்தன் ஒருவனுக்குரியவனல்ல, தேவனோ ஒருவர்.

Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

அப்படியானால் நியாயப்பிரமாணம் தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களுக்கு விரோதமா? அல்லவே; உயிரைக் கொடுக்கத்தக்க நியாயப்பிரமாணம் அருளப்பட்டிருந்ததானால், நீதியானது நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் உண்டாயிருக்குமே.

Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

அப்படியிராதபடியால், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே பலிக்கிற வாக்குத்தத்தம் விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களுக்கு அளிக்கப்படும்படி வேதம் எல்லாரையும் ஏகமாய்ப் பாவத்தின்கீழ் அடைத்துப்போட்டது.

But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

ஆதலால் விசுவாசம் வருகிறதற்கு முன்னே, வெளிப்படப்போகிற விசுவாசத்திற்கு ஏதுவாக நாம் அடைக்கப்பட்டவர்களாய் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின்கீழ் காவல்பண்ணப்பட்டிருந்தோம்.

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

இவ்விதமாக, நாம் விசுவாசத்தினாலே நீதிமான்களாக்கப்படுவதற்கு நியாயப்பிரமாணம் நம்மைக் கிறிஸ்துவினிடத்தில் வழிநடத்துகிற உபாத்தியாய் இருந்தது.

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

விசுவாசம் வந்தபின்பு நாம் உபாத்திக்குக் கீழானவர்களல்லவே.

But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

நீங்களெல்லாரும் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினால் தேவனுடைய புத்திரராயிருக்கிறீர்களே.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

ஏனெனில், உங்களில் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள்ளாக ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றவர்கள் எத்தனைபேரோ, அத்தனைபேரும் கிறிஸ்துவைத் தரித்துக்கொண்டீர்களே.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

யூதனென்றும் கிரேக்கனென்றுமில்லை, அடிமையென்றும் சுயாதீனனென்றுமில்லை, ஆணென்றும் பெண்ணென்றுமில்லை; நீங்களெல்லாரும் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் ஒன்றாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவினுடையவர்களானால், ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியாராயும், வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படியே சுதந்தரராயும் இருக்கிறீர்கள்.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
