எசேக்கியேல் அத்தியாயம் 9

பின்பு அவர் என் காதுகள் கேட்க மகா சத்தமாய்; நகரத்தின் விசாரிப்புக்காரர் சங்கரிக்கும் ஆயுதங்களைத் தங்கள் கைகளில் பிடித்துக்கொண்டுவரக்கடவர்கள் என்று சொன்னார்.

He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

அப்பொழுது இதோ, ஆறு புருஷர், வெட்டுகிற ஆயுதங்களைத் தங்கள் கைகளில் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, வடக்கே பார்த்த உயர்ந்த வாசலின் வழியிலிருந்து வந்தார்கள்; அவர்களில் சணல்நூல் அங்கிதரித்து, தன் அரையில் கணக்கனுடைய மைக்கூட்டை வைத்திருக்கிற ஒருவன் இருந்தான்; அவர்கள் உள்ளே பிரவேசித்து, வெண்கல பலிபீடத்தண்டையிலே நின்றார்கள்.

And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.

அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனுடைய மகிமை கேருபீன்மேலிருந்தெழும்பி, ஆலயத்தின் வாசற்படியிலே வந்து, சணல்நூல் அங்கிதரித்து, தன் அரையிலே கணக்கனுடைய மைக்கூட்டை வைத்திருக்கிற புருஷனைக் கூப்பிட்டு,

And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;

கர்த்தர் அவனை நோக்கி: நீ எருசலேம் நகரம் எங்கும் உருவப்போய், அதற்குள்ளே செய்யப்படுகிற சகல அருவருப்புகளினிமித்தமும் பெருமூச்சுவிட்டழுகிற மனுஷரின் நெற்றிகளில் அடையாளம் போடு என்றார்.

And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

பின்பு அவர் என் காதுகள் கேட்க மற்றவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் இவன் பின்னாலே நகரமெங்கும் உருவப்போய் வெட்டுங்கள்; உங்கள் கண் தப்பவிடாமலும், நீங்கள் இரங்காமலும்,

And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

முதியோரையும், வாலிபரையும், கன்னிகைகளையும், குழந்தைகளையும், ஸ்திரீகளையும் சங்கரித்துக் கொன்றுபோடுங்கள்; அடையாளம் போடப்பட்டிருக்கிற ஒருவனையும் கிட்டாதிருங்கள், என் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே துவக்குங்கள் என்று என் காதுகள் கேட்கச் சொன்னார்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் ஆலயத்துக்கு முன்னே இருந்த மூப்பரிடத்தில் துவக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் ஆலயத்தைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தி, பிராகாரங்களைக் கொலையுண்டவர்களாலே நிரப்பி, புறப்பட்டுப்போங்கள் என்றார்; அவர்கள் நகரத்தில் போய் வெட்டினார்கள்.

And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

அவர்கள் வெட்டிக்கொண்டுபோகையில் நான் மாத்திரம் தனித்து, முகங்குப்புற விழுந்து: ஆ, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, தேவரீர் எருசலேமின்மேல் உமது உக்கிரத்தை ஊற்றுகையில் இஸ்ரவேலின் மீதியானவர்களையெல்லாம் அழிப்பீரோ என்று முறையிட்டேன்.

And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?

அதற்கு அவர்: இஸ்ரவேலும் யூதாவுமாகிய வம்சத்தாரின் அக்கிரமம் மிகவும் பெரிது; தேசம் இரத்தப்பழிகளால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; நகரமும் மாறுபாட்டினால் நிரப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; கர்த்தர் தேசத்தைக் கைவிட்டார்; கர்த்தர் பார்க்கமாட்டார் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.

ஆகையால் என் கண் தப்பவிடுவதுமில்லை, நான் இரக்கஞ்செய்வதுமில்லை; அவர்களுடைய வழியின் பலனை அவர்கள் சிரசின்மேல் இறங்கப்பண்ணுவேன் என்றார்.

And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.

இதோ, சணல்நூல் அங்கி தரித்து, தன் அரையில் மைக்கூட்டை வைத்திருக்கிற புருஷன் வந்து: நீர் எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்தேன் என்று காரியத்தைத் தெரிவித்தான்.

And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.

எசேக்கியேல் அத்தியாயம் 10

இதோ, கேருபீன்களுடைய தலைக்குமேல் இருந்த மண்டலத்தில் இந்திர நீலரத்தினம்போன்ற சிங்காசனச் சாயலான ஒரு தோற்றத்தைக் கண்டேன்; அது அவைகளுக்குமேல் காணப்பட்டது.

Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

அவர் சணல்நூல் அங்கி தரித்திருந்த புருஷனை நோக்கி: நீ கேருபீனின் கீழ் இருக்கிற சக்கரங்களுக்கு நடுவிலே பிரவேசித்து, கேருபீன்களின் நடுவே இருக்கிற அக்கினித்தழலில் உன் கை நிறைய எடுத்து, அதை நகரத்தின்மேல் இறையென்றார்; அப்படியே அவன் என் கண்காண உள்ளே பிரவேசித்தான்.

And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.

அந்தப் புருஷன் உள்ளே பிரவேசிக்கையில், கேருபீன்கள் ஆலயத்தின் வலது புறத்தில் நின்றன; ஒரு மேகம் உட்பிராகாரத்தை நிரப்பிற்று.

Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை கேருபீனின் மேலிருந்து எழும்பி, ஆலயத்தின் வாசற்படியிலே வந்தது; ஆலயம் மேகத்தினாலே நிறைந்திருந்தது, பிராகாரமும் கர்த்தருடைய மகிமையின் பிரகாசத்தினால் நிரம்பிற்று.

Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD'S glory.

கேருபீன்களுடைய செட்டைகளின் இரைச்சல் சர்வத்துக்கும் வல்ல தேவன் பேசுகையில் உண்டாகும் சத்தம்போல வெளிப்பிராகாரமட்டும் கேட்கப்பட்டது.

And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.

அவர் சணல்நூல் அங்கி தரித்திருந்த புருஷனை நோக்கி: நீ கேருபீன்களுக்குள் சக்கரங்களின் நடுவிலிருந்து அக்கினியை எடு என்று கட்டளையிட்டவுடனே, அவன் உள்ளே பிரவேசித்து சக்கரங்களண்டையிலே நின்றான்.

And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.

அப்பொழுது கேருபீன்களுக்குள்ளே ஒரு கேருபீன் தன் கையைக் கேருபீன்களின் நடுவில் இருக்கிற அக்கினியில் நீட்டி, அதில் எடுத்து சணல்நூல் அங்கிதரித்திருந்த புருஷனுடைய கையில் கொடுத்தான்; அவன் அதை வாங்கிக்கொண்டு வெளியே வந்தான்.

And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.

கேருபீன்களுடைய செட்டைகளின் கீழ் மனுஷர் கையின் சாயலானது காணப்பட்டது.

And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man's hand under their wings.

இதோ, கேருபீன்களண்டையில் நாலு சக்கரங்கள் இருக்கக் கண்டேன்; ஒவ்வொரு கேருபீன் அண்டையில் ஒவ்வொரு சக்கரம் இருந்தது; சக்கரங்களின் தோற்றம் படிகப்பச்சை வருணம்போலிருந்தது.

And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.

அவைகள் நாலுக்கும் ஒரே சாயலான ரூபம் இருந்தது; சக்கரங்களின் நடுவிலே சக்கரம் இருக்குமாப்போல் காணப்பட்டது.

And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.

அவைகள் ஓடுகையில் தங்கள் நாலு பக்கங்களிலும் ஓடும்; ஓடுகையில் அவைகள் திரும்பினதில்லை; தலைநோக்கும் இடத்துக்கே அவைகள் அதின் பின்னாலே ஓடின; ஓடுகையில் அவைகள் திரும்பினதில்லை.

When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.

அவைகளின் உடல் அனைத்தும், அவைகளின் முதுகுகளும், அவைகளின் கைகளும், அவைகளின் செட்டைகளும், அந்தச் சக்கரங்களும், சுற்றிலும் கண்களினாலே நிறைந்திருந்தன; அவைகள் நாலுக்கும் இருந்த சக்கரங்களும் அப்படியே இருந்தன.

And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.

அந்தச் சக்கரங்களைப் பார்த்து: சக்கரமே என்று ஒருவன் கூப்பிடுகிற சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டேன்.

As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.

ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கும் நாலு முகங்கள் இருந்தன; முதலாம் முகம் கேருபீன்முகமும், இரண்டாம் முகம் மனுஷமுகமும், மூன்றாம் முகம் சிங்கமுகமும், நாலாம் முகம் கழுகுமுகமுமாயிருந்தது.

And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

கேருபீன்கள் மேலே எழும்பின; இதுதான், நான் கேபார் நதியண்டையிலே கண்டிருந்த ஜீவன்.

And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.

கேருபீன்கள் செல்லுகையில் சக்கரங்கள் அவைகள் அருகே ஓடின; பூமியிலிருந்து எழும்பக் கேருபீன்கள் தங்கள் செட்டைகளை விரித்தபோது, சக்கரங்களும் அவைகளை விட்டு விலகிப்போகவில்லை.

And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.

அவைகள் நிற்கையில் இவைகளும் நின்றன; அவைகள் எழும்புகையில் இவைகளும் எழும்பின; ஜீவனுடைய ஆவி இவைகளில் இருந்தது.

When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை ஆலயத்தின் வாசற்படியைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, கேருபீன்களின்மேல் நின்றது.

Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.

அப்பொழுது கேருபீன்கள் தங்கள் செட்டைகளை விரித்து, என் கண் காண பூமியைவிட்டு எழும்பின; அவைகள் புறப்படுகையில் சக்கரங்களும் அவைகளுக்குச் சரியாய்ச் சென்றன; கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் கிழக்கு வாசலிலே போய் நிற்க, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனுடைய மகிமை அவைகளின்மேல் உயர இருந்தது.

And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD'S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

இது நான் கேபார் நதியண்டையிலே இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனுக்குக் கீழே இருக்கக்கண்ட அந்த ஜீவன் தானே; அவைகள் கேருபீன்கள் என்று அறிந்துகொண்டேன்.

This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims.

அவைகளில் ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கு நாலு முகமும், ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கு நாலு செட்டைகளும் இருந்தன; அவைகளுடைய செட்டைகளின் கீழ் மனுஷகைகளின் சாயல் இருந்தது.

Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

அவைகளுடைய முகங்கள் நான் கேபார் நதியண்டையிலே கண்டிருந்த அந்த முகங்களின் சாயலாயிருந்தது; ஒவ்வொன்றும் தன்தன் முகத்துக்கு எதிரான திசையை நோக்கிச் சென்றது.

And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.

எசேக்கியேல் அத்தியாயம் 11

பின்பு ஆவியானவர் என்னை எடுத்து, என்னைக் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் கிழக்கு முகமாயிருக்கிற வாசலுக்குக் கொண்டுபோனார்; இதோ, அந்த வாசலின் நடையில் இருபத்தைந்து புருஷர் இருந்தார்கள்; அவர்களின் நடுவே ஜனத்தின் பிரபுக்களாகிய ஆசூரின் குமாரனாகிய யசனியாவையும், பெனாயாவின் குமாரனாகிய பெலத்தியாவையும் கண்டேன்.

Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD'S house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

அப்பொழுது அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: மனுபுத்திரனே, இவர்கள் இந்த நகரத்திலே அக்கிரமமான நினைவுகளை நினைத்து, துராலோசனை சொல்லுகிற மனுஷர்.

Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

இது வீடுகளைக் கட்டுவதற்குக் காலமல்ல என்றும், இந்த நகரம் பானை, நாங்கள் அதிலுள்ள இறைச்சியென்றும் சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

ஆகையால் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய்த் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ்சொல்லு, மனுபுத்திரனே, தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ்சொல்லு என்றார்.

Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய ஆவி என்மேல் இறங்கினார்; அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால், இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, நீங்கள் இப்படிப் பேசுகிறது உண்டு; உங்கள் மனதில் எழும்புகிறதை நான் அறிவேன்.

And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

இந்த நகரத்தில் நீங்கள் அநேகரைக் கொலைசெய்தீர்கள்; அதின் வீதிகளைக் கொலையுண்டவர்களால் நிரப்பினீர்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

ஆகையால் நீங்கள் கொலைசெய்து, அதின் நடுவிலே போட்டுவிட்டவர்களே இறைச்சியும், இந்த நகரம் பானையுமாமே; உங்களையோ அதற்குள் இராதபடிக்குப் புறம்பாக்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

பட்டயத்துக்குப் பயப்பட்டீர்கள், பட்டயத்தையே உங்கள்மேல் வரப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.

நான் உங்களை அதற்குள் இராதபடிக்குப் புறம்பாக்கி, உங்களை அந்நியரின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, உங்களில் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.

And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

பட்டயத்தால் விழுவீர்கள்; இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தின் எல்லையிலே உங்களை நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன்; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.

Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

இந்த நகரம் உங்களுக்குப் பானையாயிருப்பதுமில்லை நீங்கள் அதிலுள்ள இறைச்சியாயிருப்பதுமில்லை; இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தின் எல்லையிலே உங்களை நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன்.

This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:

என் கட்டளையின்படி நடவாமலும், என் நியாயங்களின்படி செய்யாமலும், உங்களைச் சுற்றிலுமிருக்கிற புறஜாதிகளுடைய முறைமைகளின்படி செய்த நீங்கள் அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

நான் இப்படித் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ் சொல்லுகையில், பெனாயாவின் குமாரனாகிய பெலத்தியா செத்தான்; அப்பொழுது நான் முகங்குப்புற விழுந்து, மகா சத்தமாய்: ஆ, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, தேவரீர் இஸ்ரவேலில் மீதியானவர்களைச் சர்வசங்காரஞ்செய்வீரோ என்று முறையிட்டேன்.

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, நீங்கள் கர்த்தரைவிட்டுத் தூரமாய்ப்போங்கள், எங்களுக்கு இந்த தேசம் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டதென்று, உன் சகோதரருக்கும், உன் குடும்பத்தாருக்கும், உன் பந்து ஜனங்களுக்கும், இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் அனைவருக்கும், எருசலேமின் குடிகள் சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.

ஆகையால் நான் அவர்களைத் தூரமாகப் புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே துரத்தியிருந்தாலும், நான் அவர்களை தேசங்களிலே சிதறடித்திருந்தாலும், நான் அவர்கள் போன தேசங்களில் அவர்களுக்குக் கொஞ்சகாலத்துக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலமாக இருப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல்.

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

ஆதலால் நான் உங்களை ஜனங்களிடத்திலிருந்து சேர்த்து, நீங்கள் சிதறடிக்கப்பட்ட தேசங்களிலிருந்து உங்களைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தை உங்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல்லு.

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

அவர்கள் அங்கே வந்து, அதில் சீயென்றிகழப்படத்தக்கதும் அருவருக்கப்படத்தக்கதுமாயிருக்கிறதையெல்லாம் அதிலிருந்து அகற்றுவார்கள்.

And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

அவர்கள் என் கட்டளைகளின்படி நடந்து, என் நியாயங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படி செய்ய நான் அவர்களுக்கு ஏக இருதயத்தைத் தந்து, அவர்கள் உள்ளத்தில் புதிய ஆவியைக்கொடுத்து, கல்லான இருதயத்தை அவர்கள் மாம்சத்திலிருந்து எடுத்துப்போட்டு, சதையான இருதயத்தை அவர்களுக்கு அருளுவேன்.

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

அவர்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பார்கள், நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன்.

That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

ஆனாலும் சீயென்றிகழப்படத்தக்கதும் அருவருக்கப்படத்தக்கதுமான தங்கள் இருதயத்தின் இச்சையிலே எவர்கள் நடக்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுடைய வழியின் பலனை அவர்கள் தலைகளின்மேல் சுமரப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

அப்பொழுது கேருபீன்கள் தங்கள் செட்டைகளை விரித்து எழும்பின; சக்கரங்களும் அவைகளுக்கு அருகே சென்றன; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனுடைய மகிமை அவைகளின்மேல் உயர இருந்தது.

Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை நகரத்தின் நடுவிலிருந்தெழும்பி, நகரத்துக்குக் கிழக்கே இருக்கிற மலையின்மேல் போய் நின்றது.

And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

பின்பு ஆவியானவர் என்னை எடுத்து, என்னை தேவனுடைய ஆவிக்குள்ளான தரிசனத்திலே கல்தேயாவுக்குச் சிறைப்பட்டுப்போனவர்கள் இடத்திலே கொண்டுபோய்விட்டார்; அப்பொழுது நான் கண்ட தரிசனம் என்னிலிருந்து எடுபட்டுப்போயிற்று.

Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

கர்த்தர் எனக்குக் காண்பித்த யாவையும் சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்தவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னேன்.

Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shewed me.

கலாத்தியர் அத்தியாயம் 1

மனுஷராலுமல்ல, மனுஷன் மூலமாயுமல்ல, இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினாலும், அவரை மரித்தோரிலிருந்தெழுப்பின பிதாவாகிய தேவனாலும், அப்போஸ்தலனாயிருக்கிற பவுலாகிய நானும்,

Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

என்னுடனேகூட இருக்கிற சகோதரரெல்லாரும், கலாத்தியா நாட்டிலுள்ள சபைகளுக்கு எழுதுகிறதாவது:

And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

பிதாவாகிய தேவனாலும், நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினாலும் உங்களுக்குக் கிருபையும் சமாதானமும் உண்டாவதாக;

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

அவர் நம்மை இப்பொழுதிருக்கிற பொல்லாத பிரபஞ்சத்தினின்று விடுவிக்கும்படி நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படியே நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்காகத் தம்மைத்தாமே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்;

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

அவருக்கு என்றென்றைக்குமுள்ள சதாகாலங்களிலும் மகிமை உண்டாவதாக. ஆமென்.

To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

உங்களைக் கிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபையினாலே அழைத்தவரை நீங்கள் இவ்வளவு சீக்கிரமாய் விட்டு, வேறொரு சுவிசேஷத்திற்குத் திரும்புகிறதைப்பற்றி நான் ஆச்சரியப்படுகிறேன்;

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

வேறொரு சுவிசேஷம் இல்லையே; சிலர் உங்களைக் கலகப்படுத்தி, கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய சுவிசேஷத்தைப் புரட்ட மனதாயிருக்கிறார்களேயல்லாமல் வேறல்ல.

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

நாங்கள் உங்களுக்குப் பிரசங்கித்த சுவிசேஷத்தையல்லாமல், நாங்களாவது, வானத்திலிருந்து வருகிற ஒரு தூதனாவது, வேறொரு சுவிசேஷத்தை உங்களுக்குப் பிரசங்கித்தால், அவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவனாயிருக்கக்கடவன்.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

முன் சொன்னதுபோல மறுபடியும் சொல்லுகிறேன்; நீங்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட சுவிசேஷத்தையல்லாமல் வேறொரு சுவிசேஷத்தை ஒருவன் உங்களுக்குப் பிரசங்கித்தால் அவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவனாயிருக்கக்கடவன்.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

இப்பொழுது நான் மனுஷரையா, தேவனையா, யாரை நாடிப் போதிக்கிறேன்? மனுஷரையா பிரியப்படுத்தப்பார்க்கிறேன்? நான் இன்னும் மனுஷரைப் பிரியப்படுத்துகிறவனாயிருந்தால் நான் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஊழியக்காரனல்லவே.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

மேலும், சகோதரரே, என்னால் பிரசங்கிக்கப்பட்ட சுவிசேஷம் மனுஷருடைய யோசனையின்படியானதல்லவென்று உங்களுக்குத் தெரிவிக்கிறேன்.

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

நான் அதை ஒரு மனுஷனால் பெற்றதுமில்லை, மனுஷனால் கற்றதுமில்லை, இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவே அதை எனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினார்.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

நான் யூதமார்க்கத்திலிருந்தபோது என்னுடைய நடக்கையைக்குறித்துக் கேள்விப்பட்டிருப்பீர்கள்; தேவனுடைய சபையை நான் மிகவும் துன்பப்படுத்தி, அதைப் பாழாக்கி;

For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

என் ஜனத்தாரில் என் வயதுள்ள அநேகரைப்பார்க்கிலும் யூதமார்க்கத்திலே தேறினவனாய், என் பிதாக்களுடைய பாரம்பரிய நியாயங்களுக்காக மிகவும் பக்திவைராக்கியமுள்ளவனாயிருந்தேன்.

And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

அப்படியிருந்தும், நான் என் தாயின் வயிற்றிலிருந்ததுமுதல், என்னைப் பிரித்தெடுத்து, தம்முடைய கிருபையினால் அழைத்த தேவன்,

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

எனக்கு முன்னே அப்போஸ்தலரானவர்களிடத்திலே எருசலேமுக்குப் போகாமலும்; அரபிதேசத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மறுபடியும் தமஸ்கு ஊருக்குத் திரும்பிவந்தேன்.

Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.

மூன்று வருஷம் சென்றபின்பு, பேதுருவைக் கண்டுகொள்ளும்படி நான் எருசலேமுக்குப் போய், அவனிடத்தில் பதினைந்துநாள் தங்கியிருந்தேன்.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

கர்த்தருடைய சகோதரனாகிய யாக்கோபைத் தவிர, அப்போஸ்தலரில் வேறொருவரையும் நான் காணவில்லை.

But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.

நான் உங்களுக்கு எழுதுகிற இவைகள் பொய்யல்லவென்று தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக நிச்சயமாய்ச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

பின்பு, சீரியா சிலிசியா நாடுகளின் புறங்களில் வந்தேன்.

Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;

மேலும் யூதேயா தேசத்திலே கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள்ளான சபைகளுக்கு முகமறியாதவனாயிருந்தேன்.

And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:

முன்னே நம்மைத் துன்பப்படுத்தினவனே, தான் அழிக்கத்தேடின விசுவாசத்தை இப்பொழுது பிரசங்கிக்கிறான் என்பதை மாத்திரம் அவர்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டிருந்து,

But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

என்னைப்பற்றி தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

And they glorified God in me.

கலாத்தியர் அத்தியாயம் 2

பதினாலு வருஷம் சென்றபின்பு, நான் தீத்துவைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, பர்னபாவுடனேகூட மறுபடியும் எருசலேமுக்குப் போனேன்.

Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.

நான் தேவ அறிவிப்பினாலே போய், புறஜாதிகளிடத்தில் நான் பிரசங்கிக்கிற சுவிசேஷத்தை அவர்களுக்கு விவரித்துக் காண்பித்தேன்; ஆயினும் நான் ஓடுகிறதும், ஓடினதும் வீணாகாதபடிக்கு எண்ணிக்கையுள்ளவர்களுக்கே தனிமையாய் விவரித்துக் காண்பித்தேன்.

And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.

ஆனாலும் என்னுடனேகூட இருந்த தீத்து கிரேக்கனாயிருந்தும் விருத்தசேதனம் பண்ணிக்கொள்ளும்படிக்குக் கட்டாயம்பண்ணப்படவில்லை.

But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் நமக்கு உண்டான சுயாதீனத்தை உளவுபார்த்து நம்மை நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்கு அடிமைகளாக்கும்பொருட்டாகப் பக்கவழியாய் நுழைந்த கள்ளச் சகோதரர் நிமித்தம் அப்படியாயிற்று.

And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

சுவிசேஷத்தின் சத்தியம் உங்களிடத்திலே நிலைத்திருக்கும்படி, நாங்கள் ஒரு நாழிகையாகிலும் அவர்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து இணங்கவில்லை.

To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

அல்லாமலும் எண்ணிக்கையுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்தவர்கள் எனக்கு ஒன்றும் போதிக்கவில்லை; அவர்கள் எப்படிப்பட்டவர்களாயிருந்தாலும் எனக்குக் கவலையில்லை. தேவன் மனுஷரிடத்தில் பட்சபாதமுள்ளவரல்லவே.

But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:

அதுவுமல்லாமல், விருத்தசேதனமுள்ளவர்களுக்கு அப்போஸ்தலனாயிருக்கும்படி பேதுருவைப் பலப்படுத்தினவர் புறஜாதிகளுக்கு அப்போஸ்தலனாயிருக்கும்படி என்னையும் பலப்படுத்தினபடியால்,

But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

விருத்தசேதனமுள்ளவர்களுக்குச் சுவிசேஷத்தைப் பிரசங்கிக்கும்படி பேதுருவுக்குக் கையளிக்கப்பட்டதுபோல, விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாதவர்களுக்குப் பிரசங்கிக்கும்படி அது எனக்கும் கையளிக்கப்பட்டதென்று அவர்கள் கண்டு;

For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)

எனக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட கிருபையை அறிந்தபோது, தூண்களாக எண்ணப்பட்ட யாக்கோபும், கேபாவும், யோவானும், தாங்கள் விருத்தசேதனமுள்ளவர்களுக்கும், நாங்கள் புறஜாதிகளுக்கும் பிரசங்கிக்கும்படி, அந்நியோந்நிய ஐக்கியத்திற்கு அடையாளமாக எனக்கும் பர்னபாவுக்கும் வலதுகை கொடுத்து,

And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

தரித்திரரை நினைத்துக்கொள்ளும்படிக்குமாத்திரம் சொன்னார்கள்; அப்படிச் செய்யும்படி அதற்கு முன்னமே நானும் கருத்துள்ளவனாயிருந்தேன்.

Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

மேலும், பேதுரு அந்தியோகியாவுக்கு வந்தபோது, அவன்மேல் குற்றஞ்சுமந்ததினால், நான் முகமுகமாய் அவனோடே எதிர்த்தேன்.

But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

எப்படியெனில், யாக்கோபினிடத்திலிருந்து சிலர் வருகிறதற்குமுன்னே அவன் புறஜாதியாருடனே சாப்பிட்டான்; அவர்கள் வந்தபோதோ, விருத்தசேதனமுள்ளவர்களுக்குப் பயந்து, விலகிப் பிரிந்தான்.

For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.

மற்ற யூதரும் அவனுடனேகூட மாயம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய மாயத்தினாலே பர்னபாவும் இழுப்புண்டான்.

And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.

இப்படி அவர்கள் சுவிசேஷத்தின் சத்தியத்திற்கேற்றபடி சரியாய் நடவாததை நான் கண்டபோது, எல்லாருக்கும் முன்பாக நான் பேதுருவை நோக்கிச் சொன்னது என்னவென்றால்: யூதனாயிருக்கிற நீர் யூதர் முறைமையாக நடவாமல், புறஜாதியார் முறைமையாக நடந்து கொண்டிருக்க, புறஜாதியாரை யூதர் முறைமையாக நடக்கும்படி நீர் எப்படிக் கட்டாயம்பண்ணலாம்?

But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

புறஜாதியாரில் பிறந்த பாவிகளாயிராமல், சுபாவத்தின்படி யூதராயிருக்கிற நாமும் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினாலேயன்றி, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைகளினாலே மனுஷன் நீதிமானாக்கப்படுவதில்லையென்று அறிந்து, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைகளினாலல்ல, கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே நீதிமான்களாக்கப்படும்படிக்குக் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின்மேல் விசுவாசிகளானோம்.

We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் கிரியைகளினாலே எந்த மனுஷனும் நீதிமானாக்கப்படுவதில்லையே.

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் நீதிமான்களாக்கப்படும்படி நாடுகிற நாமும் பாவிகளாகக் காணப்படுவோமானால், கிறிஸ்து பாவத்திற்குக் காரணரோ? அல்லவே.

But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

நான் இடித்துப்போட்டவைகளையே நான் மறுபடியும் கட்டினால், பிரமாணத்தை மீறுகிறவனென்று காணப்படுவேன்.

For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

தேவனுக்கென்று பிழைக்கும்படி நான் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினாலே நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்கு மரித்தேனே.

For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

கிறிஸ்துவுடனேகூடச் சிலுவையிலறையப்பட்டேன்; ஆயினும், பிழைத்திருக்கிறேன்; இனி நான் அல்ல, கிறிஸ்துவே எனக்குள் பிழைத்திருக்கிறார்; நான் இப்பொழுது மாம்சத்தில் பிழைத்திருக்கிறதோ, என்னில் அன்புகூர்ந்து எனக்காகத் தம்மைத்தாமே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்த தேவனுடைய குமாரனைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே பிழைத்திருக்கிறேன்.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

நான் தேவனுடைய கிருபையை விருதாவாக்குகிறதில்லை; நீதியானது நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினாலே வருமானால் கிறிஸ்து மரித்தது வீணாயிருக்குமே.

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
