எசேக்கியேல் அத்தியாயம் 33

கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ உன் ஜனத்தின்புத்திரரோடே பேசி, அவர்களோடே சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: நான் தேசத்தின்மேல் பட்டயத்தை வரப்பண்ணுகையில் தேசத்தின் ஜனம் தங்கள் எல்லைகளிலுள்ள ஒருவனை அழைத்து, அவனைத் தங்களுக்குக் காவற்காரனாக வைத்தபின்பு,

Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

இவன் தேசத்தின்மேல் பட்டயம் வருவதைக்கண்டு, எக்காளம் ஊதி, ஜனத்தை எச்சரிக்கும்போது,

If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

எக்காளத்தின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கிறவன் அதைக் கேட்டும், எச்சரிக்கையாயிராமல், பட்டயம் வந்து அவனை வாரிக்கொள்ளுகிறது உண்டானால், அவனுடைய இரத்தப்பழி அவன் தலையின்மேல் சுமரும்.

Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

அவன் எக்காளத்தின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டும், எச்சரிக்கையாயிருக்கவில்லை; அவனுடைய இரத்தப்பழி அவன் பேரிலே சுமரும்; எச்சரிக்கையாயிருக்கிறவனோ தன் ஜீவனைத் தப்புவித்துக்கொள்ளுவான்.

He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

காவற்காரன் பட்டயம் வருவதைக் கண்டும், அவன் எக்காளம் ஊதாமலும் ஜனங்கள் எச்சரிக்கப்படாமலும், பட்டயம் வந்து அவர்களில் யாதொருவனை வாரிக்கொள்ளுகிறது உண்டானால், அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்திலே வாரிக்கொள்ளப்பட்டான்; ஆனாலும் அவன் இரத்தப்பழியைக் காவற்காரன் கையிலே கேட்பேன்.

But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

மனுபுத்திரனே, நான் உன்னை இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாருக்குக் காவற்காரனாக வைத்தேன்; ஆகையால் நீ என் வாயினாலே வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு, என் நாமத்தினாலே அவர்களை எச்சரிப்பாயாக.

So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

நான் துன்மார்க்கனை நோக்கி: துன்மார்க்கனே, நீ சாகவே சாவாய் என்று சொல்லுகையில், நீ துன்மார்க்கனைத் தன் துன்மார்க்கத்தில் இராதபடி எச்சரிக்கத்தக்கதாக அதை அவனுக்குச் சொல்லாமற்போனால், அந்தத் துன்மார்க்கன் தன் அக்கிரமத்திலே சாவான்: ஆனாலும் அவன் இரத்தப்பழியை உன் கையிலே கேட்பேன்.

When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

துன்மார்க்கன் தன் வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பும்படி நீ அவனை எச்சரித்தும், அவன் தன் வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பாமற்போனால், அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்திலே சாவான்; நீயோ உன் ஆத்துமாவைத் தப்புவிப்பாய்.

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரை நோக்கி: எங்கள் துரோகங்களும் எங்கள் பாவங்களும் எங்கள்மேல் இருக்கிறது, நாங்கள் சோர்ந்துபோகிறோம், நாங்கள் பிழைப்பது எப்படியென்று நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிறீர்கள்.

Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால்: நான் துன்மார்க்கனுடைய மரணத்தை விரும்பாமல், துன்மார்க்கன் தன் வழியை விட்டுத் திரும்பிப் பிழைப்பதையே விரும்புகிறேன் என்று என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன்; இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, உங்கள் பொல்லாத வழிகளை விட்டுத் திரும்புங்கள், திரும்புங்கள்; நீங்கள் ஏன் சாகவேண்டும் என்கிறார் என்று அவர்களோடே சொல்லு.

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ உன் ஜனத்தின் புத்திரரை நோக்கி: நீதிமான் துரோகம்பண்ணுகிற நாளிலே அவனுடைய நீதி அவனைத் தப்புவிப்பதில்லை; துன்மார்க்கன் தன் துன்மார்க்கத்தைவிட்டுத் திரும்புகிற நாளிலே அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்தினால் விழுந்து போவதுமில்லை; நீதிமான் பாவஞ்செய்கிற நாளிலே தன் நீதியினால் பிழைப்பதுமில்லை.

Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

பிழைக்கவே பிழைப்பாய் என்று நான் நீதிமானுக்குச் சொல்லும்போது, அவன் தன் நீதியை நம்பி, அநியாயஞ்செய்தால், அவனுடைய நீதியில் ஒன்றும் நினைக்கப்படுவதில்லை, அவன் செய்த தன் அநியாயத்திலே சாவான்.

When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

பின்னும் சாகவே சாவாய் என்று நான் துன்மார்க்கனுக்குச் சொல்லும்போது, அவன் தன் பாவத்தைவிட்டுத் திரும்பி, நியாயமும் நீதியுஞ்செய்து,

Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;

துன்மார்க்கன் தான் வாங்கின அடைமானத்தையும் தான் கொள்ளையிட்ட பொருளையும் திரும்பக் கொடுத்துவிட்டு, அநியாயம் செய்யாதபடி ஜீவப்பிரமாணங்களில் நடந்தால், அவன் சாகாமல் பிழைக்கவே பிழைப்பான்.

If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

அவன் செய்த அவனுடைய எல்லாப் பாவங்களும் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக நினைக்கப்படுவதில்லை; அவன் நியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்தான், பிழைக்கவே பிழைப்பான் என்று சொல்லு.

None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

உன் ஜனத்தின் புத்திரரோ, ஆண்டவருடைய வழி செம்மையானதல்ல என்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய வழியே செம்மையானதல்ல.

Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

நீதிமான் தன் நீதியைவிட்டுத்திரும்பி, அநியாயஞ்செய்தால், அவன் அதினால் சாவான்.

When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.

துன்மார்க்கன் தன் அக்கிரமத்தைவிட்டுத் திரும்பி, நியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்தால், அவன் அவைகளினால் பிழைப்பான்.

But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.

நீங்களோ, ஆண்டவருடைய வழி செம்மையானதல்ல என்கிறீர்கள், இஸ்ரவேல் வீட்டாரே, நான் உங்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனையும் அவனவன் வழிகளின்படியே நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

எங்கள் சிறையிருப்பின் பன்னிரண்டாம் வருஷம் பத்தாம் மாதம் ஐந்தாந்தேதியிலே எருசலேமிலிருந்து தப்பின ஒருவன் என்னிடத்தில் வந்து: நகரம் அழிக்கப்பட்டது என்றான்.

And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.

தப்பினவன் வருகிறதற்கு முந்தின சாயங்காலத்திலே கர்த்தருடைய கை என்மேல் அமர்ந்து, அவன் காலையில் என்னிடத்தில் வருமட்டும் என் வாயைத் திறந்திருக்கப்பண்ணிற்று; என் வாய் திறக்கப்பட்டது, பின்பு நான் மௌனமாயிருக்கவில்லை.

Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தின் பாழான இடங்களிலுள்ள குடிகள்: ஆபிரகாம் ஒருவனாயிருந்து, தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டான்; நாங்கள் அநேகராயிருக்கிறோம், எங்களுக்கு இந்த தேசம் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.

Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

ஆகையால், நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் இரத்தத்தோடே கூடியதைத் தின்று, உங்கள் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களுக்கு நேராக உங்கள் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்து, இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தியிருக்கிறீர்கள், நீங்கள் தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வீர்களோ?

Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

நீங்கள் உங்கள் பட்டயத்தை நம்பிக்கொண்டு, அருவருப்பானதைச் செய்து, உங்களில் அவனவன் தன்தன் அயலான் மனைவியைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்துகிறீர்கள்; நீங்கள் தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வீர்களோ என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல்லு.

Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife: and shall ye possess the land?

நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: பாழான இடங்களில் இருக்கிறவர்கள் பட்டயத்தால் விழுவார்கள்; வெளிகளில் இருக்கிறவனை மிருகங்களுக்கு இரையாக ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; கோட்டைகளிலும் கெபிகளிலும் இருக்கிறவர்கள் கொள்ளைநோயால் சாவார்கள்.

Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

நான் தேசத்தைப் பாழும் அவாந்தரமுமாக்குவேன்; அப்பொழுது அதினுடைய பெலத்தின் பெருமை ஒழிந்துபோகும்; அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலின் மலைகள் கடந்துபோவாரில்லாமல் அவாந்தரமாய்க்கிடக்கும்.

For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

அவர்கள் செய்த அவர்களுடைய எல்லா அருவருப்புக்களினிமித்தமும் நான் தேசத்தைப் பாழும் அவாந்தரமுமாக்கும்போது, நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள், இதை என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல்லு.

Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.

மேலும் மனுபுத்திரனே, உன் ஜனத்தின் புத்திரர் சுவர் ஓரங்களிலும் வீட்டுவாசல்களிலும் உன்னைக்குறித்துப்பேசி, கர்த்தரிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட வார்த்தை என்னவென்று கேட்போம் வாருங்கள் என்று ஒருவரோடொருவரும் சகோதரனோடே சகோதரனும் சொல்லி,

Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.

ஜனங்கள் கூடிவருகிற வழக்கத்தின்படி உன்னிடத்தில் வந்து, உனக்கு முன்பாக என் ஜனங்கள்போல் உட்கார்ந்து, உன் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் அவைகளின்படி செய்கிறதில்லை; அவர்கள் தங்கள் வாயினாலே இன்பமாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள், அவர்கள் இருதயமோ பொருளாசையைப் பின்பற்றிப்போகிறது.

And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

இதோ, நீ இனிய குரலும் கீதவாத்தியம் வாசிப்பதில் சாமர்த்தியமுமுடையவன் பாடும் இன்பமான பாட்டுக்குச் சமானமாயிருக்கிறாய்; அவர்கள் உன் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவைகளின்படி செய்யாமற்போகிறார்கள்.

And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

இதோ, அது வருகிறது, அது வருகையில் தங்கள் நடுவிலே ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி இருந்தான் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்றார்.

And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, இஸ்ரவேலின் மேய்ப்பருக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரை; நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து, அவர்களோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் மேய்ப்பருக்குச் சொல்லுகிறார்; தங்களையே மேய்க்கிற இஸ்ரவேலின் மேய்ப்பருக்கு ஐயோ! மேய்ப்பர் அல்லவா மந்தையை மேய்க்கவேண்டும்.

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

நீங்கள் நெய்யைச் சாப்பிட்டு, ஆட்டுமயிரை உடுப்பாக்கிக்கொள்ளுகிறீர்கள்: கொழுத்ததை அடிக்கிறீர்கள்; மந்தையையோ மேய்க்காமற்போகிறீர்கள்.

Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

நீங்கள் பலவீனமானவைகளைப் பலப்படுத்தாமலும், நசல்கொண்டவைகளைக் குணமாக்காமலும், எலும்பு முறிந்தவைகளைக் காயங்கட்டாமலும், துரத்துண்டவைகளைத் திருப்பிக்கொண்டு வராமலும், காணாமற்போனவைகளைத் தேடாமலும் போய், பலாத்காரமும் கடூரமுமாய் அவைகளை ஆண்டீர்கள்.

The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

மேய்ப்பன் இல்லாததினால் அவைகள் சிதறுண்டுபோயின; சிதறுண்டு போனவைகள் காட்டு மிருகங்களுக்கெல்லாம் இரையாயின.

And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

என் ஆடுகள் சகல மலைகளிலும் உயரமான சகல மேடுகளிலும் அலைப்புண்டு, பூமியின்மீதெங்கும் என் ஆடுகள் சிதறித்திரிகிறது; விசாரிக்கிறவனுமில்லை, தேடுகிறவனுமில்லை.

My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

ஆகையால், மேய்ப்பரே, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்.

Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவராயிருக்கிற நான் என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன்; மேய்ப்பன் இல்லாததினால் என் ஆடுகள் சூறையாகி, என் ஆடுகள் காட்டுமிருகங்களுக்கெல்லாம் இரையாய்ப் போயின; என் மேய்ப்பர்கள் என் ஆடுகளை விசாரியாமற்போனார்கள், மேய்ப்பர்கள் மந்தையை மேய்க்காமல் தங்களையே மேய்த்தார்கள்.

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;

ஆகையால் மேய்ப்பரே, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்.

Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்: இதோ, நான் மேய்ப்பருக்கு விரோதமாக வந்து, என் ஆடுகளை அவர்கள் கையிலே கேட்டு, மேய்ப்பர் இனித் தங்களையே மேய்க்காதபடி, மந்தையை மேய்க்கும் தொழிலைவிட்டு அவர்களை விலக்கி, என் ஆடுகள் அவர்களுக்கு ஆகாரமாயிராதபடி, அவைகளை அவர்கள் வாய்க்குத் தப்பப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று சொல்லு.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, நான் நானே என் ஆடுகளை விசாரித்து, அவைகளைத் தேடிப்பார்ப்பேன்.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

ஒரு மேய்ப்பன் சிதறுண்ட தன் ஆடுகளின் நடுவே இருக்கிற நாளில் தன் மந்தையைத் தேடிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறதுபோல, நான் என் ஆடுகளைத்தேடி, மப்பும் மந்தாரமுமான நாளிலே அவைகள் சிதறுண்டுபோன எல்லா இடங்களிலுமிருந்து அவைகளைத் தப்பிவரப்பண்ணி,

As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

அவைகளை ஜனங்களிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்படவும் தேசங்களிலிருந்து சேரவும்பண்ணி, அவைகளுடைய சுயதேசத்திலே அவைகளைக் கொண்டுவந்து, இஸ்ரவேல் மலைகளின்மேலும் ஆறுகள் அண்டையிலும் தேசத்தின் சகல வாசஸ்தலங்களிலும் அவைகளை மேய்ப்பேன்.

And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

அவைகளை நல்ல மேய்ச்சலிலே மேய்ப்பேன்; இஸ்ரவேலுடைய உயர்ந்த மலைகளில் அவைகளுடைய தொழுவம் இருக்கும்; அங்கே அவைகள் நல்ல தொழுவத்தில் படுத்துக்கொள்ளும் இஸ்ரவேலின் மலைகளின்மேல் நல்ல மேய்ச்சலை மேயும்.

I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

என் ஆடுகளை நான் மேய்த்து, அவைகளை நான் மடக்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.

நான் காணாமற்போனதைத் தேடி, துரத்துண்டதைத் திரும்பக் கொண்டுவந்து, எலும்பு முறிந்ததைக் காயங்கட்டி, நசல் கொண்டதைத் திடப்படுத்துவேன்; நியாயத்துக்குத்தக்கதாய் அவைகளை மேய்த்து, புஷ்டியும் பெலமுமுள்ளவைகளை அழிப்பேன்.

I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

என் மந்தையே, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, ஆட்டுக்கும் ஆட்டுக்கும், ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களுக்கும், வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாக்களுக்கும் நான் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன்.

And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?

And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.

ஆகையால், கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் அவைகளை நோக்கி: இதோ, நான், நானே கொழுத்த ஆடுகளுக்கும் இளைத்த ஆடுகளுக்கும் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன்.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.

நீங்கள் பலவீனமாயிருக்கிறவைகளையெல்லாம் புறம்பாக்கிச் சிதறப்பண்ணும்படி, அவைகளைப் பக்கத்தினாலும் முன்னந்தொடைகளினாலும் தள்ளி உங்கள் கொம்புகளைக்கொண்டு முட்டுகிறபடியினாலே,

Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;

நான் என் ஆடுகளை இனிச் சூறையாகாதபடிக்கு இரட்சித்து, ஆடுகளுக்கும் ஆடுகளுக்கும் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன்.

Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.

அவர்களை மேய்க்கும்படி என் தாசனாகிய தாவீது என்னும் ஒரே மேய்ப்பனை நான் அவர்கள்மேல் விசாரிப்பாயிருக்க ஏற்படுத்துவேன்; இவர் அவர்களை மேய்த்து, இவரே அவர்களுக்கு மேய்ப்பனாயிருப்பார்.

And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

கர்த்தராகிய நான் அவர்களுக்குத் தேவனாக இருப்பேன், என் தாசனாகிய தாவீது அவர்கள் நடுவில் அதிபதியாயிருப்பார்; கர்த்தராகிய நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன்.

And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.

நான் அவர்களோடு சமாதான உடன்படிக்கைசெய்து, துஷ்ட மிருகங்களை தேசத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவர்கள் சுகமாய் வனாந்தரத்தில் தாபரித்து, காடுகளில் நித்திரைபண்ணுவார்கள்.

And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

நான் அவர்களையும் என் மேட்டின் சுற்றுப்புறங்களையும் ஆசீர்வாதமாக்கி, ஏற்றகாலத்திலே மழையைப் பெய்யப்பண்ணுவேன்; ஆசீர்வாதமான மழை பெய்யும்.

And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.

வெளியின் விருட்சங்கள் தங்கள் கனியைத்தரும்; பூமி தன் பலனைக் கொடுக்கும்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் தேசத்தில் சுகமாயிருப்பார்கள்; நான் அவர்கள் நுகத்தின் கயிறுகளை அறுத்து, அவர்களை அடிமைகொண்டவர்களின் கைக்கு அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கி விடுவிக்கும்போது, நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

இனி அவர்கள் புறஜாதிகளுக்குக் கொள்ளையாவதில்லை, பூமியின் மிருகங்கள் அவர்களைப் பட்சிப்பதுமில்லை; தத்தளிக்கப்பண்ணுவார் இல்லாமல் சுகமாய்த் தங்குவார்கள்.

And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.

நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கீர்த்திபொருந்திய ஒரு நாற்றை எழும்பப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவர்கள் இனித் தேசத்திலே பஞ்சத்தால் வாரிக்கொள்ளப்படுவதுமில்லை, இனிப் புறஜாதிகள் செய்யும் அவமானத்தைச் சுமப்பதுமில்லை.

And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.

தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தராயிருக்கிற நான் தங்களோடே இருக்கிறதையும், இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாராகிய தாங்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருக்கிறதையும், அவர்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வார்களென்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD.

என் மந்தையும் என் மேய்ச்சலின் ஆடுகளுமாகிய நீங்கள் மனுஷர்; நான் உங்கள் தேவன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.

1தெசலோனிக்கேயர் அத்தியாயம் 4

அன்றியும், சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் இன்னின்னபிரகாரமாய் நடக்கவும், தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமாயிருக்கவும் வேண்டுமென்று, நீங்கள் எங்களால் கேட்டு ஏற்றுக்கொண்டபடியே, அதிகமதிகமாய்த் தேறும்படிக்கு, கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவுக்குள் உங்களை வேண்டிக்கொண்டு புத்திசொல்லுகிறோம்.

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவினாலே நாங்கள் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த கட்டளைகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்களே.

For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

நீங்கள் பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாக வேண்டுமென்பதே தேவனுடைய சித்தமாயிருக்கிறது. அந்தப்படி, நீங்கள் வேசிமார்க்கத்துக்கு விலகியிருந்து,

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

தேவனை அறியாத அஞ்ஞானிகளைப்போல மோக இச்சைக்குட்படாமல்,

That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

உங்களில் அவனவன் தன்தன் சரீரபாண்டத்தைப்பரிசுத்தமாயும் கனமாயும் ஆண்டுகொள்ளும்படி அறிந்து:

Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

இந்த விஷயத்தில் ஒருவனும் மீறாமலும் தன் சகோதரனை வஞ்சியாமலும் இருக்கவேண்டும்; முன்னமே நாங்கள் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லி, சாட்சியாக எச்சரித்தபடியே இப்படிப்பட்ட விஷயங்களெல்லாவற்றையுங்குறித்துக் கர்த்தர் நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிறவராயிருக்கிறார்.

That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

தேவன் நம்மை அசுத்தத்திற்கல்ல பரிசுத்தத்திற்கே அழைத்திருக்கிறார்.

For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

ஆகையால் அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறவன் மனுஷரை அல்ல, தமது பரிசுத்த ஆவியை நமக்குத் தந்தருளின தேவனையே அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறான்.

He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

சகோதர சிநேகத்தைக்குறித்து நான் உங்களுக்கு எழுதவேண்டுவதில்லை; நீங்கள் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்பாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு தேவனால் போதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களாயிருக்கிறீர்களே.

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

அந்தப்படி நீங்கள் மக்கெதோனியா நாடெங்குமுள்ள சகோதரரெல்லாருக்கும் செய்துவருகிறீர்கள். சகோதரரே, அன்பிலே நீங்கள் இன்னும் அதிகமாய்ப் பெருகவும்;

And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

புறம்பேயிருக்கிறவர்களைப்பற்றி யோக்கியமாய் நடந்து, ஒன்றிலும் உங்களுக்குக் குறைவில்லாதிருக்கும்படிக்கு,

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

நாங்கள் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, அமைதலுள்ளவர்களாயிருக்கும்படி நாடவும், உங்கள் சொந்த அலுவல்களைப்பார்க்கவும், உங்கள் சொந்தக் கைகளினாலே வேலைசெய்யவும் வேண்டுமென்று உங்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லுகிறோம்.

That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

அன்றியும், சகோதரரே, நித்திரையடைந்தவர்களினிமித்தம் நீங்கள் நம்பிக்கையற்றவர்களான மற்றவர்களைப்போலத் துக்கித்து, அறிவில்லாதிருக்க எனக்கு மனதில்லை.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

இயேசுவானவர் மரித்து பின்பு எழுந்திருந்தாரென்று விசுவாசிக்கிறோமே; அப்படியே இயேசுவுக்குள் நித்திரையடைந்தவர்களையும் தேவன் அவரோடேகூடக் கொண்டுவருவார்.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையை முன்னிட்டு நாங்கள் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறதாவது: கர்த்தருடைய வருகைமட்டும் உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாம் நித்திரையடைந்தவர்களுக்கு முந்திக்கொள்வதில்லை.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

ஏனெனில், கர்த்தர் தாமே ஆரவாரத்தோடும், பிரதானதூதனுடைய சத்தத்தோடும், தேவ எக்காளத்தோடும் வானத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவருவார்; அப்பொழுது கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் மரித்தவர்கள் முதலாவது எழுந்திருப்பார்கள்.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

பின்பு, உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாமும் கர்த்தருக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோக, மேகங்கள்மேல் அவர்களோடேகூட ஆகாயத்தில் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டு, இவ்விதமாய் எப்பொழுதும் கர்த்தருடனேகூட இருப்போம்.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

ஆகையால், இந்த வார்த்தைகளினாலே நீங்கள் ஒருவரையொருவர் தேற்றுங்கள்.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1தெசலோனிக்கேயர் அத்தியாயம் 5

சகோதரரே, இவைகள் நடக்குங்காலங்களையும் சமயங்களையுங்குறித்து உங்களுக்கு எழுதவேண்டுவதில்லை.

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

இரவிலே திருடன் வருகிறவிதமாய்க் கர்த்தருடைய நாள் வருமென்று நீங்களே நன்றாய் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

சமாதானமும் சவுக்கியமும் உண்டென்று அவர்கள் சொல்லும்போது, கர்ப்பவதியானவளுக்கு வேதனை வருகிறதுபோல, அழிவு சடிதியாய் அவர்கள்மேல் வரும்; அவர்கள் தப்பிப்போவதில்லை.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

சகோதரரே, அந்த நாள் திருடனைப்போல உங்களைப் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளத்தக்கதாக, நீங்கள் அந்தகாரத்திலிருக்கிறவர்களல்லவே.

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

நீங்களெல்லாரும் வெளிச்சத்தின் பிள்ளைகளும், பகலின் பிள்ளைகளுமாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; நாம் இரவுக்கும் இருளுக்கும் உள்ளானவர்களல்லவே.

Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

ஆகையால், மற்றவர்கள் தூங்குகிறதுபோல நாம் தூங்காமல், விழித்துக்கொண்டு தெளிந்தவர்களாயிருக்கக்கடவோம்.

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

தூங்குகிறவர்கள் இராத்திரியிலே தூங்குவார்கள்; வெறிகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் இராத்திரியிலே வெறிகொள்ளுவார்கள்.

For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

பகலுக்குரியவர்களாகிய நாமோ தெளிந்தவர்களாயிருந்து, விசுவாசம் அன்பு என்னும் மார்க்கவசத்தையும், இரட்சிப்பின் நம்பிக்கையென்னும் தலைச்சீராவையும் தரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கக்கடவோம்.

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

தேவன் நம்மைக் கோபாக்கினைக்கென்று நியமிக்காமல், நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்து மூலமாய் இரட்சிப்படைவதற்கென்று நியமித்தார்.

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

நாம் விழித்திருப்பவர்களானாலும், நித்திரையடைந்தவர்களானாலும், தம்முடனேகூட நாம் ஏகமாய்ப் பிழைத்திருக்கும்படி அவர் நமக்காக மரித்தாரே.

Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

ஆகையால் நீங்கள் செய்துவருகிறபடியே, ஒருவரையொருவர் தேற்றி, ஒருவருக்கொருவர் பக்திவிருத்தி உண்டாகும்படி செய்யுங்கள்.

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

அன்றியும், சகோதரரே, உங்களுக்குள்ளே பிரயாசப்பட்டு, கர்த்தருக்குள் உங்களை விசாரணைசெய்கிறவர்களாயிருந்து, உங்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லுகிறவர்களை நீங்கள் மதித்து,

And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

அவர்களுடைய கிரியையினிமித்தம் அவர்களை மிகவும் அன்பாய் எண்ணிக்கொள்ளும்படி உங்களை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறோம். உங்களுக்குள்ளே சமாதானமாயிருங்கள்.

And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

மேலும், சகோதரரே, நாங்கள் உங்களுக்குப் போதிக்கிறதென்னவென்றால், ஒழுங்கில்லாதவர்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லுங்கள், திடனற்றவர்களைத் தேற்றுங்கள், பலவீனரைத் தாங்குங்கள், எல்லாரிடத்திலும் நீடிய சாந்தமாயிருங்கள்.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

ஒருவனும் மற்றொருவன் செய்யும் தீமைக்குத் தீமைசெய்யாதபடி பாருங்கள்; உங்களுக்குள்ளும் மற்ற யாவருக்குள்ளும் எப்பொழுதும் நன்மைசெய்யநாடுங்கள்.

See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

எப்பொழுதும் சந்தோஷமாயிருங்கள்.

Rejoice evermore.

இடைவிடாமல் ஜெபம்பண்ணுங்கள்.

Pray without ceasing.

எல்லாவற்றிலேயும் ஸ்தோத்திரஞ்செய்யுங்கள்; அப்படிச் செய்வதே கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் உங்களைக்குறித்து தேவனுடைய சித்தமாயிருக்கிறது.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

ஆவியை அவித்துப்போடாதிருங்கள்.

Quench not the Spirit.

தீர்க்கதரிசனங்களை அற்பமாயெண்ணாதிருங்கள்.

Despise not prophesyings.

எல்லாவற்றையும் சோதித்துப்பார்த்து, நலமானதைப் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

பொல்லாங்காய்த் தோன்றுகிற எல்லாவற்றையும் விட்டுவிலகுங்கள்.

Abstain from all appearance of evil.

சமாதானத்தின் தேவன் தாமே உங்களை முற்றிலும் பரிசுத்தமாக்குவாராக. உங்கள் ஆவி ஆத்துமா சரீரம் முழுவதும், நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்து வரும்போது குற்றமற்றதாயிருக்கும்படி காக்கப்படுவதாக.

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

உங்களை அழைக்கிறவர் உண்மையுள்ளவர், அவர் அப்படியே செய்வார்.

Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

சகோதரரே, எங்களுக்காக வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

Brethren, pray for us.

சகோதரரெல்லாரையும் பரிசுத்த முத்தத்தோடே வாழ்த்துங்கள்.

Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.

இந்த நிருபம் பரிசுத்தமான சகோதரர் யாவருக்கும் வாசிக்கப்படும்படி செய்யவேண்டுமென்று கர்த்தர்பேரில் ஆணையிட்டு உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.

நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய கிருபை உங்களுடனேகூட இருப்பதாக. ஆமென்.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
