எசேக்கியேல் அத்தியாயம் 27

கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி அவர்:

The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனாகிய நீ இப்போது தீருவின்பேரிலே புலம்பி,

Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;

சமுத்திரக்கரை துறையிலே குடியிருந்து, அநேகம் தீவுகளின் ஜனங்களோடே வியாபாரம்பண்ணுகிற தீருவை நோக்கி: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், தீருவே, நீ உன்னைப் பூரண சௌந்தரியவதி என்கிறாய்.

And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.

கடல்களின் நடுமையத்திலே உன் தாபரம் இருக்கிறது; உன்னைக் கட்டினவர்கள் உன்னைப் பூரணவடிவாய்க் கட்டினார்கள்.

Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

சேனீரிலிருந்துவந்த தேவதாருமரத்தால் உன் கப்பற் பலகைகளைச் செய்தார்கள்; பாய்மரங்களைச் செய்யும்படிக்கு லீபனோனிலிருந்து கேதுருமரங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.

பாசானின் கர்வாலிமரங்களினாலே உன் துடுப்புகளைச் செய்தார்கள்; கித்தீம் தீவுகளிலிருந்து வந்த ஆஷூர் மரத்தால் உன் வாரிபலகைகளைச் செய்து, அதிலே யானைத்தந்தம் அழுத்தியிருந்தார்கள்.

Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.

எகிப்திலிருந்து வந்த சித்திரத்தையலுள்ள சணல்நூல் புடவை நீ விரித்த பாயாயிருந்தது; எலீசா தீவுகளின் இளநீலமும் இரத்தாம்பரமும் உன் விதானமாயிருந்தது.

Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.

சீதோன் அர்வாத் என்னும் பட்டணங்களின் குடிகள் உனக்குத் தண்டு வலிக்கிறவர்களாயிருந்தார்கள். தீருவே, உன்னிடத்திலிருந்த உன் சாஸ்திரிகள் உன் மாலுமிகளாயிருந்தார்கள்.

The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.

கேபாரின் முதியோரும் அதின் சாஸ்திரிகளும் உன்னில் கம்பத்துப் பார்க்கிறவர்களாயிருந்தார்கள்; சமுத்திரத்தின் சகல கப்பல்களும் அவைகளிலுள்ள கப்பற்காரரும் உன்னோடே தொழில்துறை வியாபாரம் பண்ணுகிறதற்காக உன்னிடத்தில் இருந்தார்கள்.

The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.

பெர்சியரும், லூதியரும், பூத்தியரும் உன் இராணுவத்தில் யுத்தவீரராயிருந்து உனக்குள் கேடகமும் தலைச்சீராவும் தூக்கிவைத்து, உன்னை அலங்கரித்தார்கள்.

They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.

அர்வாத் புத்திரரும் உன் இராணுவ மனுஷரும் உன் மதில்கள்மேல் சுற்றிலும், கம்மாத்தியர் உன் கொத்தளங்களிலும் இருந்தார்கள்; இவர்கள் உன் மதில்கள்மேல் சுற்றிலும் தங்கள் பரிசைகளைத் தூக்கிவைத்து, உன் வடிவத்தைப் பூரணப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.

சகலவித பொருள்களின் திரளினாலும் தர்ஷீஸ் ஊரார் உன்னோடே வியாபாரம்பண்ணினார்கள்; வெள்ளியையும் இரும்பையும் தகரத்தையும் ஈயத்தையும் உன் சந்தைகளில் விற்க வந்தார்கள்.

Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.

யாவான், தூபால், மேசேக் என்னும் ஜாதியார் உன் வியாபாரிகளாயிருந்து, மனுஷர்களையும் வெண்கலப் பாத்திரங்களையும் உன் தொழில்துறைக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.

தொகர்மா வம்சத்தார் குதிரைகளையும் குதிரைவீரரையும் கோவேறுகழுதைகளையும் உன் சந்தைகளுக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.

தேதான் புத்திரர் உன் வியாபாரிகளாயிருந்தார்கள்; அநேகம் தீவுகளின் வர்த்தகம் உன் வசமாகச் சேர்ந்தது; யானைத்தந்தங்களையும் கருங்காலி மரங்களையும் அவைகளுக்குப்பதிலாகக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.

சீரியர் உன் வேலைப்பாடான பற்பல பொருள்களினிமித்தம் உன்னோடே வியாபாரம்பண்ணி, மரகதங்களையும், இரத்தாம்பரங்களையும், சித்திரத்தையலாடைகளையும், உயர்ந்த வஸ்திரங்களையும், பவளங்களையும், பளிங்கையும் உன் சந்தைகளில் விற்கவந்தார்கள்.

Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.

யூதரும் இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தாரும் உன்னோடே வியாபாரம்பண்ணி, மின்னீத், பன்னாக் என்கிற ஊர்களின் கோதுமையையும், தேனையும், எண்ணெயையும், பிசின்தைலத்தையும் உன் தொழில்துறைக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.

தமஸ்கு உன் வேலைப்பாடான பற்பல பொருள்களினிமித்தமும், சகலவிதப் பொருள்களின் திரட்சியினிமித்தமும் உன்னோடே வர்த்தகம்பண்ணி, கெல்போனின் திராட்சரசத்தையும் வெண்மையான ஆட்டுமயிரையும் உனக்கு விற்றார்கள்.

Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.

தாண் நாட்டாரும், போக்கும்வரத்துமான யாவானரும் துலக்கப்பட்ட இரும்பையும் இலவங்கத்தையும் வசம்பையும் உன் சந்தைகளில் கொண்டுவந்து உன் தொழில்துறையில் விற்றார்கள்.

Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.

இரதங்களுக்குப் போடுகிற மேன்மையான இரத்தினக்கம்பளங்களை தேதானின் மனுஷர் கொண்டுவந்து, உன்னோடே வியாபாரம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.

அரபியரும், கேதாரின் சகல பிரபுக்களும் உனக்கு வாடிக்கையானவர்த்தகராகி, ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளையும் ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் கொண்டுவந்து, உன்னோடே வியாபாரம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.

சேபா, ராமா பட்டணங்களின் வியாபாரிகள் உன்னோடே வர்த்தகம்பண்ணி, மேல்தரமான சகலவித சம்பாரங்களையும், சகலவித இரத்தினக்கற்களையும், பொன்னையும் உன் சந்தைகளில் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.

ஆரான், கன்னே, ஏதேன் என்னும் பட்டணத்தாரும், சேபாவின் வியாபாரிகளும், அசீரியரும், கில்மாத் பட்டணத்தாரும் உன்னோடே வியாபாரம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.

இவர்கள் சகலவித உயர்ந்த சரக்குகளையும், இளநீலப்பட்டுகளும் விசித்திரத்தையலாடைகளும் அடங்கிய புடவைக்கட்டுகளையும், விலை உயர்ந்த வஸ்திரங்கள் வைக்கப்பட்டு, கயிறுகளால் கட்டியிருக்கும் கேதுருமரப்பெட்டிகளையும் கொண்டுவந்து, உன்னோடே வியாபாரம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.

உன் தொழில் துறையில் தர்ஷீசின் கப்பலாட்கள் உன்னைப் போற்றிப்பாடினார்கள்; நீ சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவிலே உன்னைப் பூரணப்படுத்தி, உன்னை மிகவும் மகிமைப்படுத்தினாய்.

The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.

தண்டுவலிக்கிறவர்கள் ஆழமான தண்ணீர்களில் உன்னை வலித்துக் கொண்டுபோனார்கள்; நடுச்சமுத்திரத்திலே கொண்டற்காற்று உன்னை உடைத்துப்போட்டது.

Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.

நீ நாசமடையும் நாளிலே உன் ஆஸ்தியோடும், உன் சந்தைகளோடும், உன் தொழில் துறையோடுங்கூட உன் கப்பலாட்களும், உன் மாலுமிகளும், உன்னில் கம்பத்துப்பார்க்கிறவர்களும், உன் வியாபாரிகளும், உன்னிலுள்ள எல்லா யுத்தவீரரும், உன் நடுவில் இருக்கிற எல்லாக்கூட்டத்தாரும் நடுச்சமுத்திரத்திலே விழுவார்கள்.

Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

உன் மாலுமிகள் ஓலமிடும் சத்தத்தினால் சுற்றுப்புறங்கள் அதிரும்.

The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.

தண்டுவலிக்கிற யாவரும், கப்பலாட்களும், கடல் மாலுமிகள் அனைவரும், தங்கள் கப்பல்களை விட்டு இறங்கி, கரையிலே நின்று,

And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;

உன்னிமித்தம் சத்தமிட்டுப் புலம்பி, மனங்கசந்து அழுது, தங்கள் தலைகளின்மேல் புழுதியைப் போட்டுக்கொண்டு, சாம்பலில் புரண்டு,

And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:

உனக்காக மொட்டையிட்டு இரட்டுடுத்திக்கொண்டு, உனக்காக மனங்கசந்து அழுது, துக்கங்கொண்டாடுவார்கள்.

And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.

அவர்கள் உனக்காகத் தங்கள் துக்கத்திலே ஓலமிட்டு, உன்னிமித்தம் புலம்பி, உன்னைக்குறித்து: சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவிலே அழிந்துபோன தீருவுக்குச் சமான நகரம் உண்டோ?

And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?

உன் சந்தைச்சரக்குகள் சமுத்திரங்கள் வழியாய்க் கொண்டுவரப்படுகையில், அநேக ஜனங்களைத் திருப்தியாக்கினாய்; உன் ஆஸ்தியின் திரளினாலும் உன் வியாபாரத்தினாலும் பூமியின் ராஜாக்களை ஐசுவரியவான்களாக்கினாய்.

When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.

நீ சமுத்திரத் திரைகளினாலே ஆழங்களில் உடைக்கப்பட்டபோது, உன் தொழில் துறையும் உன் நடுவிலுள்ள கூட்டம் அனைத்தும் அழிந்துபோயின என்பார்கள்.

In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.

தீவுகளின் குடிகள் எல்லாம் உன்னிமித்தம் திகைப்பார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய ராஜாக்கள் மிகவும் பிரமித்து, கலங்கின முகமாயிருப்பார்கள்.

All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.

சகல ஜனங்களிலுமுள்ள வர்த்தகர் உன்பேரில் ஈசல்போடுவார்கள்; நீ பயங்கரமாவாய்; இனி ஒருபோதும் இருக்கமாட்டாய் என்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.

எசேக்கியேல் அத்தியாயம் 28

கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி அவர்:

The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ தீருவின் அதிபதியை நோக்கி: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், உன் இருதயம் மேட்டிமைகொண்டு: நான் தேவன், நான் சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவே தேவாசனத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிறேன் என்று நீ சொல்லி, உன் இருதயத்தை தேவனின் இருதயத்தைப்போல் ஆக்கினாலும், நீ மனுஷனேயல்லாமல் தேவனல்ல.

Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

இதோ, தானியேலைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீ ஞானவான்; இரகசியமானதொன்றும் உனக்கு மறைபொருள் அல்ல.

Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:

நீ உன் ஞானத்தினாலும் உன் புத்தியினாலும் பொருள் சம்பாதித்து, பொன்னையும் வெள்ளியையும் உன் பொக்கிஷசாலைகளில் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டாய்.

With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:

உன் வியாபாரத்தினாலும் உன் மகா ஞானத்தினாலும் உன் பொருளைப் பெருகப்பண்ணினாய்; உன் இருதயம் உன் செல்வத்தினால் மேட்டிமையாயிற்று.

By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:

ஆகையால் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நீ உன் இருதயத்தை தேவனின் இருதயத்தைப்போல ஆக்குகிறபடியினால்,

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

இதோ, ஜாதிகளில் மகா பலவான்களாகிய மறுதேசத்தாரை உனக்கு விரோதமாய் வரப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவர்கள் உன் ஞானத்தின் அழகுக்கு விரோதமாய்த் தங்கள் பட்டயங்களை உருவி, உன் மினுக்கைக் குலைத்துப்போடுவார்கள்.

Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.

உன்னைக் குழியிலே விழத்தள்ளுவார்கள்; நீ சமுத்திரங்களின் நடுவே கொலையுண்டு சாகிறவர்களைப்போல் சாவாய்.

They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

உன்னைக் கொல்லுகிறவனுக்கு முன்பாக: நான் தேவனென்று நீ சொல்வாயோ? உன்னைக் குத்திப்போடுகிறவன் கைக்கு நீ மனுஷனேயல்லாமல் தேவனல்லவே.

Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

மறுதேசத்தாரின் கையினால் நீ விருத்தசேதனமில்லாதவர்கள் சாவதுபோல் சாவாய்; நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ தீரு ராஜாவைக்குறித்துப் புலம்பி, அவனை நோக்கி: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், நீ விசித்திரமாய்ச் செய்யப்பட்ட முத்திரை மோதிரம்; நீ ஞானத்தால் நிறைந்தவன்; பூரண அழகுள்ளவன்.

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

நீ தேவனுடைய தோட்டமாகிய ஏதேனில் இருந்தவன்; பத்மராகம், புஷ்பராகம், வைரம், படிகப்பச்சை, கோமேதகம், யஸ்பி, இந்திரநீலம், மரகதம், மாணிக்கம் முதலான சகலவித இரத்தினங்களும் பொன்னும் உன்னை மூடிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது; நீ சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட நாளில் உன் மேளவாத்தியங்களும் உன் நாகசுரங்களும் உன்னிடத்தில் ஆயத்தப்பட்டிருந்தது.

Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

நீ காப்பாற்றுகிறதற்காக அபிஷேகம்பண்ணப்பட்ட கேருப்; தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த பர்வதத்தில் உன்னை வைத்தேன்; அக்கினிமயமான கற்களின் நடுவே உலாவினாய்.

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

நீ சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட நாள் துவக்கி உன்னில் அநியாயம் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டதுமட்டும், உன் வழிகளில் குறையற்றிருந்தாய்.

Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

உன் வியாபாரத்தின் மிகுதியினால், உன் கொடுமை அதிகரித்து நீ பாவஞ்செய்தாய்; ஆகையால் நான் உன்னை தேவனுடைய பர்வதத்திலிருந்து ஆகாதவனென்று தள்ளி, காப்பாற்றுகிற கேருபாய் இருந்த உன்னை அக்கினிமயமான கற்களின் நடுவே இராதபடிக்கு அழித்துப்போடுவேன்.

By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

உன் அழகினால் உன் இருதயம் மேட்டிமையாயிற்று; உன் மினுக்கினால் உன் ஞானத்தைக் கெடுத்தாய்; உன்னைத் தரையிலே தள்ளிப்போடுவேன்; ராஜாக்கள் உன்னைப்பார்க்கும்படி உன்னை அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக வேடிக்கையாக்குவேன்.

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

உன் அக்கிரமங்களின் ஏராளத்தினாலும், உன் வியாபாரத்தின் அநீதத்தினாலும் உன் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலங்களைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்கினாய்; ஆகையால் உன்னைப் பட்சிப்பதாகிய ஒரு அக்கினியை நான் உன் நடுவிலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணி, உன்னைப்பார்க்கிற எல்லாருடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் உன்னைப் பூமியின்மேல் சாம்பலாக்குவேன்.

Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

ஜனங்களில் உன்னை அறிந்த அனைவரும் உன்னிமித்தம் திகைப்பார்கள்; மகா பயங்கரமாவாய்; இனி ஒருபோதும் இருக்கமாட்டாய் என்று உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ உன் முகத்தைச் சீதோனுக்கு எதிராகத் திருப்பி, அதற்கு விரோதமாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து, சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்:

Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,

கர்த்தராகிய தேவன் சொல்லுகிறார்; சீதோனே, இதோ, நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாக வந்து, உன் நடுவிலே மகிமைப்படுவேன்; நான் அதிலே நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளைச் செய்து, அதிலே பரிசுத்தரென்று விளங்கும்போது, நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

நான் அதிலே கொள்ளைநோயையும், அதின் வீதிகளில் இரத்தத்தையும் வரப்பண்ணுவேன்; அதற்கு விரோதமாய்ச் சுற்றிலும் வந்த பட்டயத்தினால் காயம்பட்டவர்கள் அதின் நடுவிலே வெட்டுண்டு விழுவார்கள்; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரை இகழ்ந்த அவர்களுடைய சுற்றுப்புறத்தாராகிய அனைவரிலும், இனித் தைக்கிற முள்ளும் நோவுண்டாக்குகிற நெரிஞ்சிலும் அவர்களுக்கு இராது; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரென்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், நான் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரை, அவர்கள் சிதறடிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிற ஜனங்களிடத்திலிருந்து சேர்த்துக்கொண்டுவந்து, அவர்களால் ஜாதிகளின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பரிசுத்தரென்று விளங்கும்போது, அவர்கள் என் தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபுக்கு நான் கொடுத்த தங்களுடைய தேசத்திலே குடியிருப்பார்கள்.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.

அவர்களுடைய சுற்றுப்புறத்தாரில் அவர்களை இகழ்ந்த அனைவரிலும் நான் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளைச் செய்யும்போது, அவர்கள் அதிலே சுகமாய்க் குடியிருந்து, வீடுகளைக் கட்டி, திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களை நாட்டி, சுகமாய் வாழ்ந்து, நான் தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.

கொலோசேயர் அத்தியாயம் 1

தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தினாலே இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுலும், சகோதரனாகிய தீமோத்தேயும்,

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

கொலோசே பட்டணத்தில் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் பரிசுத்தவான்களும் விசுவாசிகளுமாயிருக்கிற சகோதரர்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறதாவது: நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய தேவனாலும் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினாலும் உங்களுக்குக் கிருபையும் சமாதானமும் உண்டாவதாக.

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின்மேலுள்ள உங்கள் விசுவாசத்தையும், பரிசுத்தவான்களெல்லார்மேலுமுள்ள உங்கள் அன்பையுங்குறித்து நாங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டு,

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

பரலோகத்தில் உங்களுக்காக வைத்திருக்கிற நம்பிக்கையினிமித்தம்,

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரஞ்செலுத்தி, எப்பொழுதும் உங்களுக்காக வேண்டுதல்செய்கிறோம்.

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

அந்த நம்பிக்கையைக்குறித்து, நீங்கள் முன்னமே சத்தியவசனமாகிய சுவிசேஷத்தினாலே கேள்விப்பட்டீர்கள்; அந்தச் சுவிசேஷம் உலகமெங்கும்பரம்பிப் பலன்தருகிறதுபோல, உங்களிடத்திலும் வந்து, நீங்கள் அதைக் கேட்டு, தேவகிருபையைச் சத்தியத்தின்படி அறிந்துகொண்ட நாள்முதல், அது உங்களுக்குள்ளும் பலன்தருகிறதாயிருக்கிறது;

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

அதை எங்களுக்குப் பிரியமான உடன்வேலையாளும், உங்களுக்காகக் கிறிஸ்துவின் உண்மையான ஊழியக்காரனுமாயிருக்கிற எப்பாப்பிராவினிடத்தில் நீங்கள் கற்றறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்;

As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

ஆவிக்குள்ளான உங்கள் அன்பையும் அவனே எங்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தினான்.

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

இதினிமித்தம், நாங்கள் அதைக்கேட்ட நாள்முதல் உங்களுக்காக இடைவிடாமல் ஜெபம்பண்ணுகிறோம்; நீங்கள் எல்லா ஞானத்தோடும், ஆவிக்குரிய விவேகத்தோடும் அவருடைய சித்தத்தை அறிகிற அறிவினாலே நிரப்பப்படவும்,

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

சகலவித நற்கிரியைகளுமாகிய கனிகளைத் தந்து, தேவனை அறிகிற அறிவில் விருத்தியடைந்து, கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமுண்டாக அவருக்குப் பாத்திரராய் நடந்துகொள்ளவும்,

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

சந்தோஷத்தோடே கூடிய எல்லாப்பொறுமையும் நீடியசாந்தமும் உண்டாவதற்கு மகிமையான அவருடைய வல்லமையின்படி, எல்லா வல்லமையாலும் பலப்படுத்தப்படவும், உங்களுக்காக வேண்டுதல் செய்கிறோம்.

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

ஒளியிலுள்ள பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய சுதந்தரத்தில் பங்கடைவதற்கு, நம்மைத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக்கினவரும்,

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

இருளின் அதிகாரத்தினின்று நம்மை விடுதலையாக்கி, தமது அன்பின் குமாரனுடைய ராஜ்யத்திற்கு உட்படுத்தினவருமாயிருக்கிற பிதாவை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கிறோம்.

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

(குமாரனாகிய) அவருக்குள், அவருடைய இரத்தத்தினாலே, பாவமன்னிப்பாகிய மீட்பு நமக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கிறது.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

அவர் அதரிசனமான தேவனுடைய தற்சுரூபமும், சர்வசிருஷ்டிக்கும் முந்தினபேறுமானவர்.

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

ஏனென்றால் அவருக்குள் சகலமும் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்டது; பரலோகத்திலுள்ளவைகளும் பூலோகத்திலுள்ளவைகளுமாகிய காணப்படுகிறவைகளும் காணப்படாதவைகளுமான சகல வஸ்துக்களும், சிங்காசனங்களானாலும், கர்த்தத்துவங்களானாலும், துரைத்தனங்களானாலும், அதிகாரங்களானாலும், சகலமும் அவரைக்கொண்டும் அவருக்கென்றும் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்டது.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

அவர் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் முந்தினவர், எல்லாம் அவருக்குள் நிலைநிற்கிறது.

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

அவரே சபையாகிய சரீரத்துக்குத் தலையானவர்; எல்லாவற்றிலும் முதல்வராயிருக்கும்படி, அவரே ஆதியும் மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுந்த முதற்பேறுமானவர்.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

சகல பரிபூரணமும் அவருக்குள்ளே வாசமாயிருக்கவும்,

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

அவர் சிலுவையில் சிந்தின இரத்தத்தினாலே சமாதானத்தை உண்டாக்கி, பூலோகத்திலுள்ளவைகள் பரலோகத்திலுள்ளவைகள் யாவையும் அவர் மூலமாய்த் தமக்கு ஒப்புரவாக்கிக்கொள்ளவும் அவருக்குப் பிரியமாயிற்று.

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

முன்னே அந்நியராயும் துர்க்கிரியைகளினால் மனதிலே சத்துருக்களாயும் இருந்த உங்களையும் பரிசுத்தராகவும் குற்றமற்றவர்களாகவும் கண்டிக்கப்படாதவர்களாகவும் தமக்கு முன்நிறுத்தும்படியாக அவருடைய மாம்சசரீரத்தில் அடைந்த மரணத்தினாலே இப்பொழுது ஒப்புரவாக்கினார்.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

நீங்கள் கேட்ட சுவிசேஷத்தினால் உண்டாகும் நம்பிக்கையைவிட்டு அசையாமல், ஸ்திரமாயும் உறுதியாயும் விசுவாசத்திலே நிலைத்திருப்பீர்களானால் அப்படியாகும்.

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

அந்தச் சுவிசேஷம் வானத்தின் கீழிருக்கிற சகல சிருஷ்டிகளுக்கும் பிரசங்கிக்கப்பட்டுவருகிறது; அதற்கென்றே பவுலாகிய நான் ஊழியக்காரனானேன்.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

இப்பொழுது நான் உங்கள்நிமித்தம் அநுபவிக்கிற பாடுகளில் சந்தோஷமடைந்து, கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய உபத்திரவங்களில் குறைவானதை அவருடைய சரீரமாகிய சபைக்காக, என் மாம்சத்திலே நிறைவேற்றுகிறேன்.

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

ஆதிகாலங்களுக்கும் தலைமுறை தலைமுறைகளுக்கும் மறைவாயிருந்து, இப்பொழுது அவருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு வெளியாக்கப்பட்ட இரகசியமாகிய தேவவசனத்தைப் பூரணமாய்த் தெரியப்படுத்துகிறதற்கு,

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

உங்கள்பொருட்டு தேவனால் எனக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட உத்தியோகத்தின்படியே நான் அந்தச் சபைக்கு ஊழியக்காரனானேன்.

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே விளங்கிய இந்த இரகசியத்திலுள்ள மகிமையின் ஐசுவரியம் இன்னதென்று, தேவன் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தச் சித்தமானார்; கிறிஸ்துவானவர் மகிமையின் நம்பிக்கையாக உங்களுக்குள் இருப்பதே அந்த இரகசியம்.

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

எந்த மனுஷனையும் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் தேறினவனாக நிறுத்தும்படிக்கு, அவரையே நாங்கள் அறிவித்து, எந்த மனுஷனுக்கும் புத்திசொல்லி, எந்த மனுஷனுக்கும் எல்லா ஞானத்தோடும் உபதேசம் பண்ணுகிறோம்.

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

அதற்காக நான் எனக்குள்ளே வல்லமையாய்க் கிரியை நடப்பிக்கிற அவருடைய பலத்தின்படி போராடிப் பிரயாசப்படுகிறேன்.

Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

கொலோசேயர் அத்தியாயம் 2

உங்களுக்காகவும் லவோதிக்கேயாவிலிருக்கிறவர்களுக்காகவும், சரீரத்தில் என் முகத்தைக் காணாதிருக்கிற மற்றெல்லாருக்காகவும் மிகுந்த போராட்டம் எனக்கு உண்டென்று நீங்கள் அறியவிரும்புகிறேன்.

For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்கள் தேற்றப்பட்டு, அவர்கள் அன்பினால் இணைக்கப்பட்டு, பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கும் உரிய இரகசியத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ளுகிற உணர்வின் பூரண நிச்சயத்தினுடைய எல்லா ஐசுவரியத்திற்கும் உரியவர்களாகவேண்டுமென்றே இப்படி விரும்புகிறேன்.

That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

அவருக்குள் ஞானம் அறிவு என்பவைகளாகிய பொக்கிஷங்களெல்லாம் அடங்கியிருக்கிறது.

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

ஒருவனும் நயவசனிப்பினாலே உங்களை வஞ்சியாதபடிக்கு இதைச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

சரீரத்தின்படி நான் தூரமாயிருந்தும், ஆவியின்படி உங்களுடனேகூட இருந்து, உங்கள் ஒழுங்கையும், கிறிஸ்துவின்மேலுள்ள உங்கள் விசுவாசத்தின் உறுதியையும் பார்த்துச் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறேன்.

For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.

ஆகையால், நீங்கள் கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டபடியே, அவருக்குள் வேர்கொண்டவர்களாகவும், அவர்மேல் கட்டப்பட்டவர்களாகவும், அவருக்குள் நடந்துகொண்டு,

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

நீங்கள் போதிக்கப்பட்டபடியே, விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதிப்பட்டு, ஸ்தோத்திரத்தோடே அதிலே பெருகுவீர்களாக.

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

லௌகிக ஞானத்தினாலும், மாயமான தந்திரத்தினாலும், ஒருவனும் உங்களைக் கொள்ளைகொண்டு போகாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; அது மனுஷர்களின் பாரம்பரிய நியாயத்தையும் உலகவழிபாடுகளையும் பற்றினதேயல்லாமல் கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றினதல்ல.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

ஏனென்றால், தேவத்துவத்தின் பரிபூரணமெல்லாம் சரீரப்பிரகாரமாக அவருக்குள் வாசமாயிருக்கிறது.

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

மேலும் சகல துரைத்தனங்களுக்கும் அதிகாரத்துக்கும் தலைவராயிருக்கிற அவருக்குள் நீங்கள் பரிபூரணமுள்ளவர்களாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்.

And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

அல்லாமலும், நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விருத்தசேதனத்தினாலே மாம்சத்துக்குரிய பாவசரீரத்தைக் களைந்துவிட்டதினால், கையால் செய்யப்படாத விருத்தசேதனத்தை அவருக்குள் பெற்றீர்கள்.

In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

ஞானஸ்நானத்திலே அவரோடேகூட அடக்கம்பண்ணப்பட்டவர்களாகவும், அதிலே அவரை மரித்தோரிலிருந்தெழுப்பின தேவனுடைய செயலின் மேலுள்ள விசுவாசத்தினாலே அவரோடகூட எழுந்தவர்களாகவும் இருக்கிறீர்கள்.

Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

உங்கள் பாவங்களினாலேயும், உங்கள் மாம்ச விருத்தசேதனமில்லாமையினாலேயும் மரித்தவர்களாயிருந்த உங்களையும் அவரோடேகூட உயிர்ப்பித்து, அக்கிரமங்களெல்லாவற்றையும் உங்களுக்கு மன்னித்து;

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

நமக்கு எதிரிடையாகவும் கட்டளைகளால் நமக்கு விரோதமாகவும் இருந்த கையெழுத்தைக் குலைத்து, அதை நடுவிலிராதபடிக்கு எடுத்து, சிலுவையின்மேல் ஆணியடித்து;

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

துரைத்தனங்களையும் அதிகாரங்களையும் உரிந்துகொண்டு, வெளியரங்கமான கோலமாக்கி, அவைகளின்மேல் சிலுவையிலே வெற்றிசிறந்தார்.

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

ஆகையால், போஜனத்தையும் பானத்தையும்குறித்தாவது, பண்டிகை நாளையும் மாதப்பிறப்பையும் ஓய்வுநாட்களையுங்குறித்தாவது, ஒருவனும் உங்களைக் குற்றப்படுத்தாதிருப்பானாக.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

அவைகள் வருங்காரியங்களுக்கு நிழலாயிருக்கிறது; அவைகளின் பொருள் கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றினது.

Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

கணுக்களாலும் கட்டுகளாலும் உதவிபெற்று இணைக்கப்பட்டு, தேவவளர்ச்சியாய் வளர்ந்தேறுகிற சரீரமுழுவதையும் ஆதரிக்கிற தலையைப்பற்றிக்கொள்ளாமல்,

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

மாயமான தாழ்மையிலும், தேவதூதர்களுக்குச் செய்யும் ஆராதனையிலும் விருப்பமுற்று, காணாதவைகளிலே துணிவாய் நுழைந்து, தன் மாம்சசிந்தையினாலே வீணாய் இறுமாப்புக்கொண்டிருக்கிற எவனும் உங்கள் பந்தயப்பொருளை நீங்கள் இழந்துபோகும்படி உங்களை வஞ்சியாதிருக்கப்பாருங்கள்.

And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவுடனேகூட உலகத்தின் வழிபாடுகளுக்கு மரித்ததுண்டானால், இன்னும் உலக வழக்கத்தின்படி பிழைக்கிறவர்கள்போல,

Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

மனுஷருடைய கற்பனைகளின்படியும் போதனைகளின்படியும் நடந்து: தொடாதே, ருசிபாராதே, தீண்டாதே என்கிற கட்டளைகளுக்கு உட்படுகிறதென்ன?

Touch not; taste not; handle not;

இவையெல்லாம் அநுபவிக்கிறதினால் அழிந்துபோகுமே.

Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

இப்படிப்பட்ட போதனைகள் சுய இஷ்டமான ஆராதனையையும், மாயமான தாழ்மையையும், சரீர ஒடுக்கத்தையும் பற்றி ஞானமென்கிற பேர்கொண்டிருந்தாலும், இவைகள் மாம்சத்தைப் பேணுகிறதற்கே ஒழிய மற்றொன்றிற்கும் பிரயோஜனப்படாது.

Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
