எரேமியா அத்தியாயம் 33

எரேமியா இன்னும் காவற்சாலையின் முற்றத்திலே அடைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கையில், கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை இரண்டாந்தரம் அவனுக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,

இதைச் செய்கிற கர்த்தருமாய், இதைத் திடப்படுத்தும்படிக்கு இதை உருவேற்படுத்துகிற கர்த்தருமாயிருக்கிற யேகோவா என்னும் நாமமுள்ளவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்:

Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;

என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடு, அப்பொழுது நான் உனக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுத்து, நீ அறியாததும் உனக்கு எட்டாததுமான பெரிய காரியங்களை உனக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்.

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

எதிர்க் கொத்தளங்களினாலும் பட்டயத்தாலும் இடிக்கப்பட்டவைகளாகிய இந்த நகரத்தின் வீடுகளையும், யூதா ராஜாக்களின் வீடுகளையுங்குறித்து:

For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;

இந்த நகரத்தின் எல்லாப் பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தமும் நான் என் முகத்தை மறைத்தபடியினாலே என் கோபத்திலும் உக்கிரத்திலும் வெட்டுண்ட மனுஷப் பிரேதங்களினாலே அவைகளை நான் நிரப்பும்படியாகவே, அவர்கள் கல்தேயரோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணப்போகிறார்கள்.

They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.

இதோ, நான் அவர்களுக்குச் சவுக்கியமும் ஆரோக்கியமும் வரப்பண்ணி, அவர்களைக் குணமாக்கி, அவர்களுக்குப் பரிபூரண சமாதானத்தையும் சத்தியத்தையும் வெளிப்படுத்துவேன்.

Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

நான் யூதாவின் சிறையிருப்பையும், இஸ்ரவேலின் சிறையிருப்பையும் திருப்பி, முன்னிருந்ததுபோல அவர்களைக் கட்டுவித்து,

And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.

அவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க்குற்றஞ்செய்த அவர்களுடைய எல்லா அக்கிரமங்களுக்கும் அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கிச் சுத்திகரித்து, அவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் குற்றஞ்செய்து, எனக்கு விரோதமாய்த் துரோகம்பண்ணின அவர்களுடைய எல்லா அக்கிரமங்களையும் மன்னிப்பேன்.

And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

நான் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்யும் நன்மையையெல்லாம் கேட்கப்போகிற பூமியின் எல்லா ஜாதிகளுக்கு முன்பாக அது எனக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியுள்ள கீர்த்தியாயும் புகழ்ச்சியாயும் மகிமையாயும் இருக்கும்; நான் அவர்களுக்கு அருளிச்செய்யும் எல்லா நன்மையினிமித்தமும், எல்லாச் சமாதானத்தினிமித்தமும் இவர்கள் பயந்து நடுங்குவார்கள் என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

மனுஷனில்லாமலும் மிருகமில்லாமலும் அவாந்தரவெளியாய்க் கிடக்கிறதென்று, நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிற இவ்விடத்திலும், யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களிலும் மனுஷனாவது மிருகமாவது இல்லாத பாழான எருசலேமின் வீதிகளிலும்,

Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,

இன்னும் களிப்பின் சத்தமும், மகிழ்ச்சியின் சத்தமும், மணவாளனின் சத்தமும், மணவாட்டியின் சத்தமும்: சேனைகளின் கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள், கர்த்தர் நல்லவர், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளதென்று சொல்லுகிறவர்களின் சத்தமும், கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரபலிகளைக் கொண்டுவருகிறவர்களின் சத்தமும் கேட்டகப்படும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அவர்கள் முன்னிருந்தது போலிருக்கும்படி தேசத்தின் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்புவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

மனுஷனும் மிருகமும் இல்லாமல் அவாந்தரவெளியாய்க்கிடக்கிற இவ்விடத்திலும், இதற்கடுத்த பட்டணங்களிலும், ஆட்டுமந்தையை மேய்த்து மடக்குகிற மேய்ப்பர்களின் தாபரங்கள் உண்டாயிருக்கும் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

மலைத்தேசமான பட்டணங்களிலும், பள்ளத்தாக்குகளான பட்டணங்களிலும், தென்திசைப் பட்டணங்களிலும் பென்யமீன் நாட்டிலும், எருசலேமின் சுற்றுப்புறங்களிலும், யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களிலும், ஆட்டுமந்தைகள் தங்களைத் தொகையிடுகிறவனுடைய கைக்குள்ளாகக் கடந்துவரும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD.

இதோ, நாட்கள் வருமென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார், அப்பொழுது நான் இஸ்ரவேலின் குடும்பத்துக்கும், யூதாவின் குடும்பத்துக்கும் சொன்ன நல்வார்த்தையை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.

அந்நாட்களிலும், அக்காலத்திலும் தாவீதுக்கு நீதியின் கிளையை முளைக்கப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவர் பூமியிலே நியாயத்தையும் நீதியையும் நடப்பிப்பார்.

In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

அந்நாட்களில் யூதா இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டு, எருசலேம் சுகமாய்த் தங்கும்; அவர் எங்கள் நீதியாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தர் என்பது அவருடைய நாமம்.

In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.

இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தின் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் உட்காரத்தக்க புருஷன் தாவீதுக்கு இல்லாமற்போவதில்லை.

For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

தகனபலியிட்டு, போஜனபலி செலுத்தி, நாள்தோறும் பலியிடும் புருஷன் எனக்கு முன்பாக ஆசாரியருக்கும் லேவியருக்கும் இல்லாமற்போவதுமில்லை என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார்.

Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

பின்னும் எரேமியாவுக்குக் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை உண்டாகி, அவர்:

And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,

குறித்த நேரங்களில் பகற்காலமும் இராக்காலமும் உண்டாகாதபடிக்கு, நீங்கள் பகற்காலத்தைக்குறித்து நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையையும், இராக்காலத்தைக்குறித்து நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையையும் அவமாக்கினால்,

Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;

அப்பொழுது என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதோடே நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையும், அவன் சிங்காசனத்தில் அரசாளும் குமாரன் அவனுக்கு இல்லாமற்போகும்படியாக அவமாகும்; என் ஊழியக்காரராகிய லேவியரோடும் ஆசாரியரோடும் நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையும் அப்பொழுது அவமாகும்.

Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

வானத்து நட்சத்திரங்கள் எண்ணப்படாததும் கடற்கரை மணல் அளக்கப்படாததுமாயிருக்கிறதுபோல, நான் என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதின் சந்ததியையும் எனக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்கிற லேவியரையும் வர்த்திக்கப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார்.

As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

பின்னும் எரேமியாவுக்குக் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை உண்டாகி, அவர்:

Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,

கர்த்தர் தெரிந்துகொண்ட இரண்டு வம்சங்களையும் வெறுத்துப்போட்டாரென்று இந்த ஜனம் சொல்லி, தங்களுக்கு முன்பாக என் ஜனம் இனி ஒரு ஜாதியல்லவென்று அதைத் தூஷிக்கிறார்களென்பதை நீ காண்கிறதில்லையோ?

Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

வானத்துக்கும் பூமிக்கும் குறித்திருக்கிற நியமங்களை நான் காவாமல், பகற்காலத்தையும் இராக்காலத்தையுங்குறித்து நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கை அற்றுப்போகிறது உண்டானால்,

Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

அப்பொழுது நான் யாக்கோபின் சந்ததியையும், என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதின் சந்ததியையும் தள்ளி, நான் ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கு யாக்கோபு என்பவர்களின் சந்ததியை ஆளத்தக்கவர்களை அதிலிருந்து எடுக்காதபடிக்கு வெறுத்துப்போடுவேன்; அவர்களுடைய சிறையிருப்பை நான் திருப்பி, அவர்களுக்கு இரங்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார்.

Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.

எரேமியா அத்தியாயம் 34

பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரும் அவனுடைய சர்வசேனையும், அவன் ஆளுகைக்குட்பட்ட பூமியின் சகல ராஜ்யங்களும், சகல ஜனங்களும் எருசலேமுக்கும் அதைச் சேர்ந்த சகல பட்டணங்களுக்கும் விரோதமாக யுத்தம்பண்ணுகையில் எரேமியாவுக்குக் கர்த்தரால் உண்டான வார்த்தை:

The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,

இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால்: நீ போய், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய சிதேக்கியாவினிடத்தில் பேசி, அவனுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியது: இதோ, நான் இந்த நகரத்தைப் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறேன்; அவன் இதை அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிப்பான்.

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:

நீ அவன் கைக்குத் தப்பிப்போகாமல், நிச்சயமாய்ப் பிடிபட்டு, அவன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்படுவாய்; உன் கண்கள் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவின் கண்களைக் காணும்; அவன் வாய் உன் வாயோடே பேசும்; நீ பாபிலோனுக்குப் போவாய் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

And thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.

ஆகிலும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய சிதேக்கியாவே, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேள்; உன்னைக் குறித்துக் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நீ பட்டயத்தாலே சாவதில்லை.

Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword:

சமாதானத்தோடே சாவாய்; உனக்கு முன்னிருந்த ராஜாக்களாகிய உன் பிதாக்களினிமித்தம் கந்தவர்க்கங்களைக் கொளுத்தினதுபோல உன்னிமித்தமும் கொளுத்தி, ஐயோ! ஆண்டவனே என்று சொல்லி, உனக்காகப் புலம்புவார்கள்; இது நான் சொன்ன வார்த்தையென்று கர்த்தர் உரைத்தார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.

இந்த வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம் தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய எரேமியா எருசலேமிலே யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய சிதேக்கியாவினிடத்தில் சொன்னான்.

Then Jeremiah the prophet spake all these words unto Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,

அப்பொழுது பாபிலோன் ராஜாவின் சேனைகள் எருசலேமுக்கு விரோதமாகவும், யூதாவின் எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களிலும் மீந்த பட்டணங்களாகிய லாகீசுக்கும், அசெக்காவுக்கும் விரோதமாகவும் யுத்தம் பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தது; யூதாவின் அரணிப்பான பட்டணங்களில் இவைகளே மீந்திருந்தவைகள்.

When the king of Babylon's army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.

ஒருவனும் யூதஜாதியானாகிய தன் சகோதரனை அடிமை கொள்ளாதபடிக்கு, அவனவன் எபிரெயனாகிய தன் வேலைக்காரனையும், எபிரெய ஸ்திரீயாகிய தன் வேலைக்காரியையும் சுயாதீனராக அனுப்பிவிடவேண்டுமென்று அவர்களுக்கு விடுதலையைக் கூறும்படி,

This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;

ராஜாவாகிய சிதேக்கியா எருசலேமில் இருக்கிற எல்லா ஜனத்தோடும் உடன்படிக்கை பண்ணினபின்பு, எரேமியாவுக்குக் கர்த்தரால் வார்த்தை உண்டாயிற்று.

That every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, being an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, to wit, of a Jew his brother.

ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன் வேலைக்காரனையும் தன் வேலைக்காரியையும் இனி அடிமைகொள்ளாதபடிக்கு, சுயாதீனராக அனுப்பிவிடவேண்டுமென்று உடன்படிக்கைக்கு உட்பட்ட எல்லாப் பிரபுக்களும் எல்லா ஜனங்களும் கேட்டபோது, செவிகொடுத்து அவர்களை அனுப்பிவிட்டார்கள்.

Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them go.

ஆனாலும் அதற்குப்பின்பு அவர்கள் மாறாட்டம்பண்ணி, தாங்கள் சுயாதீனராக அனுப்பிவிட்ட வேலைக்காரரையும் வேலைக்காரியையும் மறுபடியும் அழைப்பித்து, அவர்களை வேலைக்காரரும் வேலைக்காரிகளுமாயிருக்கும்படி அடிமைப்படுத்திக்கொண்டார்கள்.

But afterward they turned, and caused the servants and the handmaids, whom they had let go free, to return, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.

ஆதலால், கர்த்தராலே எரேமியாவுக்கு வார்த்தை உண்டாகி, அவர்:

Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், அவனவன் தனக்கு விற்கப்பட்ட எபிரெயனாகிய தன் சகோதரனை முடிவிலே நீங்கள் ஏழாம் வருஷத்திலே அனுப்பிவிடவேண்டும் என்றும், அவன் உனக்கு ஆறுவருஷம் அடிமையாயிருந்தபின்பு, அவனை உன்னிடத்தில் வைக்காமல் சுயாதீனனாக அனுப்பிவிடவேண்டும் என்றும்,

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,

நான் உங்கள் பிதாக்களை அடிமைவீடாகிய எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின நாளிலே அவர்களோடே உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணினேன்; ஆனாலும் உங்கள் பிதாக்கள் என் சொல்லைக் கேளாமலும், தங்கள் செவியைச் சாயாமலும் போனார்கள்.

At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.

நீங்களோ, இந்நாளிலே மனந்திரும்பி, அவனவன் தன் அயலானுக்கு விடுதலையைக் கூறின விஷயத்திலே என் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதைச் செய்து, என் நாமம் தரிக்கப்பட்ட ஆலயத்திலே இதற்காக என் முகத்துக்குமுன் உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணியிருந்தீர்கள்.

And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:

ஆனாலும் நீங்கள் மாறாட்டம்பண்ணி, என் நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்கி, நீங்கள் அவனவன் விடுதலையாகவும் சுயாதீனராகவும் அனுப்பிவிட்ட தன் வேலைக்காரனையும் தன் வேலைக்காரியையும் திரும்ப அழைத்துவந்து, அவர்களை உங்களுக்கு வேலைக்காரரும் வேலைக்காரிகளுமாயிருக்கும்படி அடிமைப்படுத்தினீர்கள்.

But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom ye had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.

ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், நீங்கள் அவனவன் தன் சகோதரனுக்கும் அவனவன் தன் அயலானுக்கும் விடுதலையைக் கூறினவிஷயத்தில் என் சொல்லைக் கேளாமற் போனீர்களே; இதோ, நான் உங்களைப் பட்டயத்துக்கும், கொள்ளைநோய்க்கும், பஞ்சத்துக்கும் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிற விடுதலையை உங்களுக்குக் கூறுகிறேன்; பூமியின் ராஜ்யங்களிலெல்லாம் அலைகிறதற்கும் உங்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

என் முகத்துக்குமுன் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையின் வார்த்தைகளை நிறைவேற்றாமல், என் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறின மனுஷரை நான் துண்டங்களின் நடுவாகக் கடந்துபோகும்படி அவர்களை இரண்டாகத் துண்டித்த கன்றுக்குட்டியைப்போல் ஆக்குவேன்.

And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof,

கன்றுக்குட்டியின் துண்டுகளின் நடுவே கடந்துபோன யூதாவின் பிரபுக்களையும், எருசலேமின் பிரபுக்களையும், பிரதானிகளையும், ஆசாரியர்களையும், தேசத்தின் சகல ஜனங்களையும் அப்படிச் செய்து,

The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf;

நான் அவர்களை அவர்கள் சத்துருக்களின் கையிலும், அவர்கள் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறவர்களின் கையிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; அவர்களுடைய பிரேதம் ஆகாயத்தின் பறவைகளுக்கும் பூமியின் மிருகங்களுக்கும் இரையாகும்.

I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.

யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய சிதேக்கியாவையும் அவனுடைய பிரபுக்களையும் அவர்கள் சத்துருக்களின் கையிலும் அவர்கள் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறவர்களின் கையிலும், உங்களைவிட்டுப் பெயர்ந்துபோன பாபிலோன் ராஜாவினுடைய சேனைகளின் கையிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்.

And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you.

இதோ, நான் கட்டளைகொடுத்து, அவர்களை இந்த நகரத்துக்குத் திரும்பப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவர்கள் அதற்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம்பண்ணி, அதைப்பிடித்து, அதை அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிப்பார்கள்; யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களையும், ஒருவரும் அவைகளில் குடியிராதபடிப் பாழாய்ப்போகப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

Behold, I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.

மேலும், சகோதரரே, நான் உங்களை ஆவிக்குரியவர்களென்று எண்ணி உங்களுடனே பேசக்கூடாமல், மாம்சத்துக்குரியவர்களென்றும், கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் குழந்தைகளென்றும் எண்ணிப் பேசவேண்டியதாயிற்று.

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

நீங்கள் பெலனில்லாதவர்களானதால், உங்களுக்குப் போஜனங்கொடாமல், பாலைக் குடிக்கக்கொடுத்தேன்; இன்னமும் நீங்கள் மாம்சத்துக்குரியவர்களாயிருக்கிறபடியால், இப்பொழுதும் உங்களுக்குப் பெலனில்லை.

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

பொறாமையும் வாக்குவாதமும் பேதகங்களும் உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கிறபடியால், நீங்கள் மாம்சத்திற்குரியவர்களாயிருந்து மனுஷமார்க்கமாய் நடக்கிறீர்களல்லவா?

For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

ஒருவன் நான் பவுலைச் சேர்ந்தவனென்றும், வேறொருவன் நான் அப்பொல்லோவைச் சேர்ந்தவனென்றும் சொல்லுகிறபடியால் நீங்கள் மாம்சத்திற்குரியவர்களல்லவா?

For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

பவுல் யார்? அப்பொல்லோ யார்? கர்த்தர் அவனவனுக்கு அருள் அளித்தபடியே நீங்கள் விசுவாசிக்கிறதற்கு ஏதுவாயிருந்த ஊழியக்காரர்தானே.

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

நான் நட்டேன், அப்பொல்லோ நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சினான், தேவனே விளையச்செய்தார்.

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

அப்படியிருக்க, நடுகிறவனாலும் ஒன்றுமில்லை, நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சுகிறவனாலும் ஒன்றுமில்லை, விளையச்செய்கிற தேவனாலே எல்லாமாகும்.

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

மேலும் நடுகிறவனும் நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சுகிறவனும் ஒன்றாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவனவன் தன்தன் வேலைக்குத் தக்கதாய்க் கூலியைப் பெறுவான்.

Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

நாங்கள் தேவனுக்கு உடன்வேலையாட்களாயிருக்கிறோம்; நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய பண்ணையும், தேவனுடைய மாளிகையுமாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்.

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

எனக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட தேவகிருபையின்படியே புத்தியுள்ள சிற்பாசாரியைப்போல அஸ்திபாரம் போட்டேன். வேறொருவன் அதின்மேல் கட்டுகிறான். அவனவன் தான் அதின்மேல் இன்னவிதமாய்க் கட்டுகிறானென்று பார்க்கக்கடவன்.

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

போடப்பட்டிருக்கிற அஸ்திபாரமாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை அல்லாமல் வேறே அஸ்திபாரத்தைப் போட ஒருவனாலும் கூடாது.

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

ஒருவன் அந்த அஸ்திபாரத்தின்மேல் பொன், வெள்ளி, விலையேறப்பெற்ற கல், மரம், புல், வைக்கோல் ஆகிய இவைகளைக் கட்டினால்,

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

அவனவனுடைய வேலைப்பாடு வெளியாகும்; நாளானது அதை விளங்கப்பண்ணும். ஏனெனில் அது அக்கினியினாலே வெளிப்படுத்தப்படும்; அவனவனுடைய வேலைப்பாடு எத்தன்மையுள்ளதென்று அக்கினியானது பரிசோதிக்கும்.

Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

அதின்மேல் ஒருவன் கட்டினது நிலைத்தால், அவன் கூலியைப் பெறுவான்.

If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

ஒருவன் கட்டினது வெந்துபோனால், அவன் நஷ்டமடைவான்; அவனோ இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்; அதுவும் அக்கினியிலகப்பட்டுத் தப்பினது போலிருக்கும்.

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய ஆலயமாயிருக்கிறீர்களென்றும், தேவனுடைய ஆவி உங்களில் வாசமாயிருக்கிறாரென்றும் அறியாதிருக்கிறீர்களா?

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

ஒருவன் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கெடுத்தால், அவனைத் தேவன் கெடுப்பார்; தேவனுடைய ஆலயம் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கிறது; நீங்களே அந்த ஆலயம்.

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

ஒருவனும் தன்னைத்தானே வஞ்சியாதிருப்பானாக; இவ்வுலகத்திலே உங்களில் ஒருவன் தன்னை ஞானியென்று எண்ணினால் அவன் ஞானியாகும்படிக்குப் பைத்தியக்காரனாகக்கடவன்.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

இவ்வுலகத்தின் ஞானம் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகப் பைத்தியமாயிருக்கிறது. அப்படியே, ஞானிகளை அவர்களுடைய தந்திரத்திலே பிடிக்கிறாரென்றும்,

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

ஞானிகளுடைய சிந்தனைகள் வீணாயிருக்கிறதென்று கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறாரென்றும் எழுதியிருக்கிறது.

And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

இப்படியிருக்க, ஒருவனும் மனுஷரைக்குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டாதிருப்பானாக; எல்லாம் உங்களுடையதே;

Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

பவுலாகிலும், அப்பொல்லோவாகிலும், கேபாவாகிலும், உலகமாகிலும், ஜீவனாகிலும் மரணமாகிலும், நிகழ்காரியங்களாகிலும், வருங்காரியங்களாகிலும், எல்லாம் உங்களுடையது;

Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவினுடையவர்கள்; கிறிஸ்து தேவனுடையவர்.

And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

இப்படியாக, எந்த மனுஷனும் எங்களைக் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஊழியக்காரரென்றும், தேவனுடைய இரகசியங்களின் உக்கிராணக்காரரென்றும் எண்ணிக்கொள்ளக்கடவன்.

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

மேலும், உக்கிராணக்காரன் உண்மையுள்ளவனென்று காணப்படுவது அவனுக்கு அவசியமாம்.

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

ஆயினும் நான் உங்களாலேயாவது மனுஷருடைய நியாயநாளின் விசாரணையினாலேயாவது தீர்ப்பைப் பெறுவது எனக்கு மிகவும் அற்ப காரியமாயிருக்கிறது; நானும் என்னைக்குறித்துத் தீர்ப்புச்சொல்லுகிறதில்லை.

But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.

என்னிடத்தில் நான் யாதொரு குற்றத்தையும் அறியேன்; ஆகிலும் அதினாலே நான் நீதிமானாகிறதில்லை; என்னை நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறவர் கர்த்தரே.

For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

ஆனதால், கர்த்தர் வருமளவும் நீங்கள் காலத்துக்குமுன்னே யாதொன்றைக்குறித்தும் தீர்ப்புச்சொல்லாதிருங்கள்; இருளில் மறைந்திருக்கிறவைகளை அவர் வெளியரங்கமாக்கி, இருதயங்களின் யோசனைகளையும் வெளிப்படுத்துவார்; அப்பொழுது அவனவனுக்குரிய புகழ்ச்சி தேவனால் உண்டாகும்.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

சகோதரரே, எழுதப்பட்டதற்கு மிஞ்சி எண்ணவேண்டாமென்று நீங்கள் எங்களாலே கற்றுக்கொள்ளவும், ஒருவனும் ஒருவனினிமித்தம் மற்றொருவனுக்கு விரோதமாய் இறுமாப்படையாதிருக்கவும், நான் உங்கள்நிமித்தம் என்னையும் அப்பொல்லோவையும் திருஷ்டாந்தமாக வைத்து, இவைகளை எழுதினேன்.

And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

அன்றியும் உன்னை விசேஷித்தவனாகும்படி செய்கிறவர் யார்? உனக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கிறவைகளில் நீ பெற்றுக்கொள்ளாதது யாது? நீ பெற்றுக்கொண்டவனானால் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளாதவன்போல் ஏன் மேன்மைபாராட்டுகிறாய்?

For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

இப்பொழுது திருப்தியடைந்திருக்கிறீர்களே, இப்பொழுது ஐசுவரியவான்களாயிருக்கிறீர்களே, எங்களையல்லாமல் ஆளுகிறீர்களே; நீங்கள் ஆளுகிறவர்களானால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது உங்களுடனேகூட நாங்களும் ஆளுவோமே.

Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.

எங்களுக்குத் தோன்றுகிறபடி தேவன் அப்போஸ்தலர்களாகிய எங்களை மரணத்துக்குக் குறிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்போலக் கடைசியானவர்களாய்க் காணப்படப்பண்ணினார்; நாங்கள் உலகத்துக்கும் தூதருக்கும் மனுஷருக்கும் வேடிக்கையானோம்.

For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.

நாங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவினிமித்தம் பைத்தியக்காரர், நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவில் புத்திசாலிகள்; நாங்கள் பலவீனர், நீங்கள் பலவான்கள்; நீங்கள் கனவான்கள், நாங்கள் கனவீனர்.

We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

இந்நேரம்வரைக்கும் பசியுள்ளவர்களும், தாகமுள்ளவர்களும், நிர்வாணிகளும், குட்டுண்டவர்களும், தங்க இடமில்லாதவர்களுமாயிருக்கிறோம்.

Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;

எங்கள் கைகளினாலே வேலைசெய்து, பாடுபடுகிறோம்; வையப்பட்டு, ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறோம்; துன்பப்பட்டு, சகிக்கிறோம்.

And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:

தூஷிக்கப்பட்டு, வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறோம்; இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் உலகத்தின் குப்பையைப்போலவும், எல்லாரும் துடைத்துப்போடுகிற அழுக்கைப்போலவுமானோம்.

Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

உங்களை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படிக்கு நான் இவைகளை எழுதவில்லை, நீங்கள் எனக்குப் பிரியமான பிள்ளைகளென்று உங்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லுகிறேன்.

I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.

கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் பதினாயிரம் உபாத்தியாயர்கள் உங்களுக்கு இருந்தாலும், தகப்பன்மார் அநேகர் உங்களுக்கு இல்லையே; கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் சுவிசேஷத்தினால் நான் உங்களைப் பெற்றேன்.

For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

ஆகையால், என்னைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்களாகுங்களென்று உங்களுக்குப் புத்தி சொல்லுகிறேன்.

Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

இதினிமித்தமாக, எனக்குப் பிரியமும், கர்த்தருக்குள் உண்மையுமுள்ள என் குமாரனாகிய தீமோத்தேயுவை உங்களிடத்தில் அனுப்பினேன்; நான் எங்கும் எந்தச் சபையிலும் போதித்துவருகிற பிரகாரம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள்ளான என் நடக்கைகளை அவன் உங்களுக்கு ஞாபகப்படுத்துவான்.

For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

நான் உங்களிடத்திற்கு வருகிறதில்லை என்கிறதற்காகச் சிலர் இறுமாப்படைந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.

ஆகிலும் கர்த்தருக்குச் சித்தமானால் நான் சீக்கிரமாய் உங்களிடத்திற்கு வந்து, இறுமாப்படைந்திருக்கிறவர்களுடைய பேச்சையல்ல, அவர்களுடைய பெலத்தையே அறிந்துகொள்வேன்.

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.

தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் பேச்சிலே அல்ல, பெலத்திலே உண்டாயிருக்கிறது.

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

உங்களுக்கு என்ன வேண்டும்? நான் பிரம்போடு உங்களிடத்தில் வரவேண்டுமோ? அல்லது அன்போடும் சாந்தமுள்ள ஆவியோடும் வரவேண்டுமோ?

What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?
